Imbued with magic of the solstice, DMR is one of my new favorites. Dark Moon Rose is a mysterious, natural scent, winner of several awards and inspired by stages of the moon. This perfume is beautiful! An artistic blend of rose (four varieties no less!) and patchouli. The rose is stunning, the patchouli a mystic myst that stirs imagination. I could identify other notes when I concentrated, amber and sandalwood adding warmth and subtlety and much more. All creating a well blended romantic accord that feels like it was made by an orphic sorceress in a medieval grove.
The perfumer, Pearlstine, is a nature and wildlife pro, so it’s no wonder she captured the wild aura of the notes. Can’t wait to experience more by this house. Lunar power and timeless ingredients – can’t miss!
