Description
“This fragrance tells the story of Josephine Baker’s “Savage Dance” from her performances in 1920s Paris. Irresistible black pepper, plum, and cognac meet classic amber, musk, and spicy woody notes. The scent is unbridled, spontaneous and sensual. Its sexiness taps into your beautiful dark side—a mystical fragrance inspired from the oriental scents with warm and deep woods of patchouli and cedarwood. Spicy notes such as pepper, chili and cardamom bring sensuality and magic to the Tonka bean notes, while bursts of Cognac make you intoxicated and delighted in its wake.” – a note from the brand.
Danse Sauvage was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Marie Patricia Hurel.

A non-animalic Straight to Heaven spiced up by the Plum. Loving it! For me, the best from the house among the current 3 releases. Harlem Nights was good but not for me as it has that bit of makeup vibe. Renaissance did not agree with my skin – weird opening and funky detergent-like drydown. Too bad since it seems to be strongest performer from the bunch.

I’m really digging this scent. Kind of gives me the Straight to heaven vibe By Kilian. I’m guessing it’s the Cedar.

Their description should be: “Drops even more panties than Sauvage!”
They really missed a golden opportunity.
