D’Anjou is a light, pretty spring and summer fragrance. The dominant note is a very natural smelling pear (Anjou pears- hence the name). The florals come in nicely, rose, cyclamen and muguet, but the muguet is in the background. The petitgrain lightens the juice so it is not too sweet and the musk gives it just a bit of sexy and longevity. This is a light skin scent and is meant to be, but anyone who comes close to you will love the way you smell. I like this one but I’m not sure whether I would want a bottle of it or not. I like these light, ethereal, skin veil types of scents, but this one is too heavy on the pear notes for me.

This is a nice pretty fragrance, unfortunately some light fresh type scents just don’t hold well on my skin and this is one of them. It was strong for about an hour or so and then faded. Whilst it was there it was a very pretty scent, I mainly smelled the pear but to my nose I could smell something like banana leaf. Nice but not amazing.
