LOVE this ESF Sorbet. It has nothing that can be related to its name Sorbet at all. It is a light but very FLORAL fragrance without any “fruit” in it. The magnolia is pretty dominant to my nose. Overall it is a very pleasant and sophisticated fragrance as far as it comes to an ESF (lighter than EDT). It is for sure one of the best ESFs (or light version of EDT, or body mist).
I sprayed this one on one palm and the other palm with Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Summer 2017 and they smell almost identical.
For similarity criteria, I would group this ESF Sorbet with ESF Original, and ESF Twinkle, and group the ESF Sunshine with ESF Kiss.

Fragrance Review For Daisy Eau So Fresh Sorbet
Top Notes Mandarin Orange Apple Blossom Lotus
Middle Notes: Magnolia Jasmine Violet
Base Notes: Woods Musk
With a name like sorbet I was anticipating the gourmand scents of vanilla cream, something sugar coated and delicious. But this is not a gourmand. This is a fruity floral with a base/dry down of woods and musk. Absolutely beautiful because it isn’t a typical gourmand. The bottle with the purple flowers looks as cheap as ghetto plastic flowers I remember from the Bronx. But this is a lovely floral fragrance that does not smell as cheap as the bottle looks. The opening is citrus with mandarin and refreshing. They would not call it Eau So Fresh if it wasn’t fresh as it begins. There is an apple scent that smells not like apple blossom but like an actual apple with a strange aroma of roses. There is no rose listed here but there was a mysterious rose scent. Then the rose disappears quickly and I smelled all the other floral notes: lotus, magnolia, jasmine and violet. The lotus and violet are quite strong and it smelled aquatic as in aquatic floral somewhat similar to Waterford Lismore. This is a violet perfume but that was not a surprise because the original debut Daisy by Marc Jacobs was a violet, not a daisy. The violet is really much sweeter here because it’s got the sweet apple and the additional floral sweetness of magnolia. Rather than becoming too innocent the dry down is musky and woodsy. It is a lovely perfume and unfortunately it doesn’t last as long as I would like it to so I keep reapplying. I don’t normally care for the Daisy Marc Jacobs flankers but this was really nice. I gave away a lot of the Daisy and Eau So Fresh fragrances at my Mothers Day party last night. You should have been there! Thanks Fragrantica for giving me and my friends the perfumista lifestyle, a gift that keeps on giving.

Duty free of Berlin, very cold November evening,I look like somebody who just did Mongolian track without training .This beauty bottle with daisies at colour of gummy bears catched my eye:).
When I sniffed it for couple of minutes it was just miracle – delicious fruity happy bouncy smell.thought that it will be treasure .
Agrhh.nope. very fast it turned to unpleasant sweet syrop against cough
And stayed forever and ever on my hand:). I know that it’s me and my skin .too hot or something .but I still trying to get some vibrant fruity aqua fragrance …

This is my 1st MarcJacobs perfume. I’m a fan of Chanel perfumes and I wanted something different. I’m pleasantly surprised by Daisy Eau So Fresh! It’s very fresh & there is a clean soapy aspect to it – it’s like just stepping out of the shower.
It smells fruity & yummy upon the 1st spritz. After a few minutes, the scent becomes sweeter but not in a syrupy, saccharine way.
It is amazingly long lasting despite being an EDT. I sprayed it on in the morning at 7am & by 6pm I can still smell traces of it! It’s perfect for work or a relaxed casual event. I think I shall be reaching for this quite often.

This is the only fragrance from the daisy line that I like, for me it is the perfect happy medium between being sweet, but fresh. Perfect for summer days. My only complaint is that it is edt, so it is really light and doesn’t last long. I wish they had this in the edp, the sorbet edp that was released has different notes and didn’t appeal to me at all.

After the amazing scents of last years Delights I was eargerly waiting for these new summer scents. Though not as nice as last year IMHO they are still very nice. I like the Daisy Sorbet over this one. Nut overeall this is a great summer/spring scent. Great lasting power on me through the day. Love alot of the MJ scents.

Really wanted to love this but it smells like a citrus scented cleaning product.it was heavy and strong while it lasted but it faded rather quickly. this wasn’t a fake because i got it at ulta. the other one smells great though.

Wear this in 100 deg heat….watch it last. Alot of ppl complain on longevity with scents….do ppl know that if its a edt…its not as strong in scent oils to last and OUR noses get accustomed to scents you wear and so sometimes you may not smell it, but others around you do. Its your nose thats the issue. Plus if your body lacks vitamin b-12 or vitamin c …your nose has lack of smell quality if your deficiency is their.

I really wanted to love this fragrance! The cap is so beautiful! But I’ve only managed to like it a bit. It’s pleasant, but it lasts just a while on my skin. Like many Marc Jacobs scents, actually. Only few of this brand’s scents stick to my skin.

I didn’t love it when I first put it on. Neither did either of my kids. But as the day wore on it wore much sweeter but not too sweet. It’s nice, but nothing special. It lasted nicely. I don’t think I like it enough to buy it. One gripe is that they don’t put “Sorbet” on the bottles. I tried it at Ulta thinking it was Daisy Eau So Fresh. They only had the lower part of the bottle. I looked over and saw the brightly colored top and realized I’d just sprayed the flanker and they didn’t have EsF. I digress. Overall, it’s pleasant but not a favorite.

I just got this and I love it as well as my original. better than last yrs. its light but lingers nice. the daisy version sorbet was not so great. this is a winner!

This a really pretty, fruity, sweet fragrance! I wish it came in smaller bottles or rollerball form. I’d never be able to finish a bottle!! I’d recommend this to anyone that likes girly, bright scents!

I bought my bottle today and love it – very fruity and later I can definitely smell some violet. Beautiful bottle as well
lde514speagoessenda – :
Definitely fresh! Love it though I catch the fruity notes afterwards with a bit of that mandarin and jasmine great fragrance expect nothing less from Marc Jacobs

Smelled this just now. Fruity citrusy and youthful. Kind of boring, bland and predictable though…If you’re expecting something unique or different, don’t even bother!
