Description

Marc Jacobs brand expands their collection of fragrant products with a wonderful fragrant duo. The two new perfumes are both limited-edition editions and refer to two new versions of Daisy and Daisy Eau So Fresh – Delight. They are launched in 2014 in collaboration with Coty.

Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight is another creation by Frank Vöelkl and it reinterprets the original Daisy Eau So Fresh from 2011. The perfume starts with pink pepper and white tea, while the heart offers opulent aromas of blood orange, Tiare Tahiti flower, violet, raspberry and apricot. The romantic fragrance provides a soft trail of musk and amber. The color characteristic of this new limited edition is pale pink.

Daisy Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh Delight Edition is available as a 75ml edt spray.

The nose behind this fragrance is Frank Vöelkl.

There’s a confusing element to this being that I hadn’t realized I owned anything other than ‘eau so fresh’ as on the bottle itself it doesn’t say anything other than eau so fresh even on the bottom! I feel that’s important to know so you realize what one you’re buying. I had thought it was just a different colored top, and this was cemented by the fact that when Daisy came out there were different lids you could collect. So this one has a nice strawberry note to it. But the staying power is about 10 minutes. Literally after 10 minutes it’s gone. It makes a nice initial impact but the fact that it’s gone so soon is disappointing.

I got this perfume as a gift, and I really love the sweet, fresh rasperry (but not overpowdering), combined with flowers and hint of apricot and citrus scent. However, the longevity is really disappointing. After only an hour the smell in the air completely disppear unless someone is close to me. I usually only wear this if I am getting intimate with my partner, otherwise people doesn’t really notice the scent because its poor performance on longevity and sillage. I really do like the packaging though, it’s very cute.

Within the past year I’ve realized that raspberry is probably my favorite note. Caramel is not far behind. I recently discovered eau so fresh and eau so fresh delight. Both are now in my top 3. Raspberry, violet and orange dominate. Delight is fresh and feminine.

This is a love for me. The initial blast is a fruity/peppery and powdery mix. Mostly the pink pepper and violet. Then the orange and raspberry take over and it works so well. The pepper/violet mix is still there underneath but the citrus is the star. I do not find it similar to the original Eau So Fresh at all. The original is more green. Longevity and silage are typical Marc Jacobs.

This is my absolute favorite scent from the Daisy line. So very pretty and feminine and uplifting without being child-like. It’s a gorgeous tart-like fruity floral with a hint of green (I suppose from the tea). It has the original Daisy undertone minus the stuffy musk, with added raspberry and blood orange.
Honestly, I tested this once before about a year ago but didn’t want to spend the money on another fruity floral. But after all this time, I couldn’t get this scent out of my head! So I bought it for myself for Mother’s Day, received it early last week, and can’t stop wearing it!
Longevity is quite nice on clothes, projection is moderate to soft. Worth every penny, imo.

This is what every woman should, smell like. Pleasant and delightful. It’s a heavenly fruity sweet smell. It makes me feel pretty. No one is ever gonna say that they hate this perfume on you. It’s not generic, a bit long lasting on the fabric, last a few hours on the skin I would say all day but I suggest spraying the fabric for a better Wear. This can be used for a first date 🙂

I did a spray test today between this (Delight) and the original Daisy. One spray on each arm and the Delight is still lingering as a skin scent, 4 hours later. There is barely a trace of Daisy on my arm at all. There’s a strong note in Delight that is quite long lasting and very pleasant at the end. This is my fave Daisy, yet, but I still want to try Sorbet.

My fav MJ frag. I have 2 bottles of this and the scent is the most wonderful thing! Great lasting power on me and I’ll be sad when I run out. I love the balance between the fruit and floral elements.

Love it but it has no longevity on me.

This is quite light and easy-going. Sweet, but not too much. Smells almost like fresh air. Reminds me more of spring than summer, but it’s great for summer because of it’s inoffensive lightness.
I like it. All the other Daisies are better than the original.

I like it, very nice and subtle. At first it is kind of musky, and then becomes sweet once it’s settled.

To me this has no character – as if the person portraying the daisy got bored of the commonly available flower. not realizing that each flower is individual he created a mass product. It does not smell bad, also not great, it is fresh and flowery and a bit sweet and synthetic and totally linear and that’s it. Nothing stands out, nothing impresses. Sillage and longevity is acceptable but why bother with something this boring for such a high price?

The packaging of this fragrance attracted me to it more than the smell. I love the cute colourful daisies on the cap!! And honestly, it is quite a pleasant, sweet smelling perfume. However, it is nothing out of the ordinary.
I don’t detest this, but not something I love that much either. I would say it is something I would wear occasionally. But it’ll take awhile for me to finish it and definitely not a fragrance I’d repurchase. I’d rather go for something with a more subtle and powdery smell.

A lot of raspberry, mixed with orange and violet. Scent is quite pleasant in general, but I don’t think I would like to smell like that.
However, it is also possible that this fragrance does not develop well on my skin. It is the same with most of Marc Jacobs perfumes so far, unfortunately.

This fragrance is awesome. To me it is fresh, clean and uplifting. It has a crisp blood orange opening, with a sweet apricot undertone that is perfectly balanced with the pink pepper and soft florals. On the dry down the violet comes out a bit more. I find it overall very well balanced, not too sweet and the perfect daytime perfume. It really is a clean and pretty, fresh smell. For some reason in the winter I find that the orange comes out more, and in the summer the raspberry. The only wish I have, is that the top notes could stay longer – it has such a ‘perfect’ blend of all the scents at the beginning. When the violet becomes stronger the perfume gets a bit more of a floral / pepper zing to it, but it’s still good.
Edit: I find myself wearing this a bit less and less because of the more floral violet dry down. The top fruit notes mixed with the floral made me fall in love with this, but I really wish the top notes could stay longer. They make the perfume a little sweeter and much softer in my opinion.

    Bright. Fresh. Sweet.
Bright pink pepper and blood orange add more depth than the original Eau So Fresh. Raspberry and apricot give it a punch of sweetness.
A great summery take on the Eau So Fresh line!

I was so excited to get this because I love both the original Daisy and Daisy Eau So Fresh, it’s probably my fault because I expected this to be ESF with more fruity notes. Well, it’s not as great as those two, not even close.
The opening was very chemical, so don’t sniff your wrist right after spraying it on, wait about 5 minutes. Also, the scent is quite ordinary and generic, I feel like there are many perfumes out there with the similar smell. All the different floral notes don’t mix well with one another I think. After spraying it on for 30 minutes I had to wash it off because by then it’s quite nauseating (to me at least).
Please don’t blind buy this if you love the originals, test it out first and decide for yourself. I really regret buying it and it’s going back to the store.

I was lucky I got this on offer.
To me it smells somewhere in between the Original(Eau So Fresh) and Dot, more towards ESF. It is fruitier than the Original but not as fruity as Dot.
It is softer and fresher than the original, on drying down it stays pleasantly without becoming heavy at all. I don’t think staying power is as long as the Original. I usually have to have a little bit of top up at lunch time.
If you are happy with the original you could probably pass.
If you find the original is too strong or sweet, this subtler fruitier version is a good one to try, it
is also a good alternative during spring/summer months.
I work in a small confined office, I like to wear lighter fragrance and this is perfect.
I like the lovely bottle sitting together with the original on my dressing table. However I keep forgetting the name, the “Delight” part, as “Delight” is not printed on the bottle.
My review is based on my personal experience on this fragrance.

Got this today and it seems a much sharper, tangy, zingy citrus version of the original ESF.
Very nice and fruity but, on the dry down, I think I still prefer the original ESF
The bottle is sweet and Spring like and looks lovely on my bedside table.

Bought it yesterday, very similar to the original eau so fresh on dry down. First spray initial thought is dot

This is the least exciting/stimulating Marc Jacobs fragrance so far. The ultimate definition of boring in a bottle. Dont waste your money!

LOVE. Fruity and floral and fun. Top notes of raspberry, violet, and white flower – I’m not getting any top notes of musk, as others seem to be reporting. Also has some apple or quince, which would be consistent with the rest of the Daisy line. Dries down to a citrusy amber, good longevity and moderate/heavy sillage on me. Fun!

I love ESF and I adore pink pepper and blood orange in fragrances. I’m hoping this will be as good as I think.
Anyone know when its coming out?
    EDIT:
Just picked up a sample of this. Its definitely got the MJ flair thats for sure. Someone mentioned that their first thought was DOT (my sig) and I agree. There’s definitely aspects of the original ESF in here but you definitely get the musk and pink pepper, transforming this into a light, airy, slightly powdery but lovely fragrance altogether.
