Sweet, musky leather on my skin. Not as sweet as Velvet Teddy but has strong suede notes and is more masculine but not a strong leather scent IMO. Sillage moderate and longevity weak. I don’t love it as much VT but it is a great scent for cold weather. Definitely unique. Can be a unisex fragrance.

This is wonderful, a soft leathery musk in the vein of Glossier You, with added sweetness from a vanillic ambrette seed. Starts off like the inside of a soft handbag, moves into the powdery quality of a freshly washed scalp and dries down to a sweet warm skin musk, like the scent of a woman lounging in bed. I may have to buy a full bottle, this is really attractive.

Goes on with a alcohol blast…very short…then I got caramel/vanilla powder….then..musk ambrette. It is “creamy”…and a make-up powder effect. It does not smell like Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar to me…at all…???…Although,I must admit, I get a Dior Homme vibe..yup !!…crazy.Remarkable…??..ahhh…NO.
But very wearabe/enjoyable scent for sure.Average longevity and sillage…skin scent drydown. I can see why they called it “Nude”. Nice everyday type scent.
    I like it !!!

Salted caramel with a hint of vanilla. A subtle every day inoffensive office wear scent. Will make you feel warm and cozy everytime you smell your scarf. It does remind me of Prada candy a little bit.

This one brings me immediately the taste of Haagen Dazs Pralines & Cream ice cream. This scent also reminds me of caramel popcorn or something like salted caramel. It is saltier than the prada candy for example. I love it. It is subtle and sweet, wearable through-out the whole day. I enjoy it very much. Just caramel and salt.

I have never received so many compliments as I do when I wear this one. When I first tried this I had a sample and sprayed it in my car, when I went back in my car the next day it developed into the nicest smell I have ever smelled in my whole life. I wear this almost everyday. It’s never sickening just amazing.

This smells like a lighter version of Diptyque Eau duelle on my skin, very lovely.

It is definitely related to Warm Vanilla Sugar…but it’s even better! Creme d’Nude is what I always wanted WVS to be…it’s got all the right notes without that plasticy undertone all B&BW scents have. Creme d’nude’s sweetness is balanced beautifully by a pure, clean amber. This is great for an easy, anytime anywhere fragrance.

As a lover of sickly sweet vanilla, this is like the older, sexier cousin of bath and body works warm vanilla sugar. it definitely has a muskiness that makes it more adult and mature. i hoe that this one sticks around long enough for me to get a bottle for myself! it has a certain toffee note that i really enjoy as well. also, for being a sweet smell, it really does have good lasting power. would be good for a young professional!

Seriously enjoying this one from the Shadescents line. Resembles Elizabeth & James Nirvana Bourbon, but Creme de Nude is much more subtle. When I wear EJ Bourbon, I kind of feel clubbed over the head by the woods. CdN’s woodiness is toned way down and the feminine musk is dialed up. The vanilla is dry and the caramel, smokey. Far less syrupy than Prada Candy. A plus for me. The amber/musk dry down is fabulous. Lasts 4-6 hours on my skin. This scent is a layering wonder. Works well with overt florals to add depth and complexity and it rounds out strident chypres to soften the edges. Now, if only MAC would expand the line to bath & body.

These scents are just truly a masterpiece ! The way the scents go in order and how each one connects to the other like ombré …. how clever and each one Is just so beatiful . Get your hands on creme de nude and velvet teddy while you can ladies ! extraordinary

Velvety, musky, caramel, a smidge powdery, it reminds me of Shalimar Parfum Initial for a bit in the very beginning. It also reminds me of how I remember Prada Candy smelling when it first came out. I don’t really get creaminess. A solid like, though I don’t know if I will purchase.

Musky, caramelly, sugared leather that is warm and sweet, but definitely cuts short of most popular commercial fragrances. I have noticed there is a tendency of popular perfumes, especially celebrity lines, to cross from sweet to cloying or sickly. Creme De Nude doesn’t do this. The vanilla stays firmly planted with the musks and budges no further. Hats off to MAC for making some quality fragrances that feel more expensive than they are.
The suede note is not a “real” leather scent, but rather the weird “leather” approximation fragrances use. It kinds of smells like pleather or fake leather. Or even a car interior. It has a chemical element that doesn’t smell very natural. And for me, the downside is this particular shadescent has a passing resemblance to Nirvana Bourbon, which I am not a big fan of (it has a medicinal, clinical note I can’t quite describe). Maybe they get their vanilla from the same place? That aside, you could easily wear this both every day, and for special occasions. Creme De Nude is pretty versatile if it’s your thing. Out of the 6 shadescents, it’s pretty “meh” for me.

ever since it first came out, i’ve loved the *idea* of Warm Vanilla Sugar, but hate that coconut note in it. i’ve bought and been gifted countless bottles of that scent, from B&BW and other knock-offs. i have a bottle here i was given a couple months back during the holidays.
one schpritz of this on my left arm, and WVS on the right.
and they are far too similar, with the Creme De Nude costing 5x as much, for me to have any desire to keep this.
this is the third scent i’ve tried from this collection, and is the least terrible. i won’t be trying any more.

This is far more interesting than Bath and Body Works anything and quite a bit different than Prada Candy. Candy is balsamic and sort of one note. Where as Crème d’Nude is sooo full of dirty musk, still sweet sure but far more complex. This and Velvet Teddy read boring but are actually interesting. All of the Shadescents are interesting but these two are very wearable.

I would absolutely describe this as smelling like the grown up version of B&BW’s Warm Vanilla Sugar. It’s a bit more musky with some caramel in the dry down. I would definitely describe it as a skin scent.

Smells like a softer version of Prada Candy. Velvety caramel.

musk bomb, kinda like a wild thing wolf in a sheep’s clothing sort of juice , not my kind of musc i prefer mine tame and toothless
but it is good , the price unbeatable and honestly it is very interesting yeah thumbs up

This smells good to most women because it’s going to remind them of something similar to a past favorite, Warm Vanilla Sugar. Cozy and comforting.

Beautiful vanilla and musk scent! I heard that this smells like B&BW’s Warm Vanilla Sugar, but I feel that it’s not quite as sweet, and the musk makes it more sophisticated. This is amazing on it’s own, but I can see it layering quite nicely with other perfumes as well. The sillage and longevity are excellent. My husband loves this one and always compliments me when I spray it on before bed. I think it’s most appropriate for fall and winter. Out of all the new MAC Shadescents, this is definitely my favorite.

Strikes me as Dior Addicts little sister. She’s at that awkward stage where she can’t decide if she wants to be noticed or not.

This is creamy soft vanilla …but no lasting power. It’s a softer version of macs old scent MV2..

A nice unisex with a nod toward masc. Nice creamy almost almondy scent with a hunt of caramel. Not as loud as some of the others but no slouch.

It’s as boring as I expected. Soapy, musky, very light vanilla. It’s more white musk than creamy. Musk gives it some masculine qualities. It is not sweet or caramel. The very top of the spray seems a little sweet, but it’s gone very quickly and it becomes soapy and harsher. I wore it all day to get a complete impression. Nothing wrong with it but nothing really right with it either. I guess it fits the lipstick color well enough.

soft and light. i wish it had more vanilla sweetness to it. when initially sprayed has some masculine tones to it. performance is meh… 4 hours max and close to skin. it is ok for makeup brand. i want to try velvet teddy too.

Ambery slightly sweet musk I plan to combine with vanilla for day time. I also got the Velvet Teddy but I can’t wear that to my grad classes, too distracting.

Créme d’Nude ~ an amber musk intended to evoke naked skin. [“The nude-coloured pigment of Crème d’Nude Lipstick inspires a scent capturing the vibrant sexiness of clean, radiant, glowing skin. A cocoon of velvet musk envelops the structure of the fragrance, while neroli emits a freshness and luminosity of sensual skin. Texture comes through with a soft butter suede accord that blends pure ambrette seeds with a lip-smooth Madagascar vanilla bean. Universal in its appeal, wearable day, night, everywhere in between.”]

Not technically a review as I didn’t spray on to my skin. They had the whole range in my local Mac store today and I had a sniff of each of the bottles, this was probably my favourite of the bunch. Was very creamy vanilla sweet smelling, not sickly sweet. But soft and enveloping if that makes any sense.
