This was recommended to me and I managed to find some on e-bay. It is not the sort of fragrance I would normally wear (i prefer heavier, leather/wood-based colognes) but is refreshingly different and something I would choose to wear on a warm summer’s day. The overall effect is fresh and green but with the warmth of vanilla coming through quite powerfully. Interesting, but in a positive way.

Not able to provide a professional or complex review, but would just say that this has a remarkable impact on me, and is a departure from my usual. I have got stuck with florals and citrus dominated things, but this whacks out an immediate grassy hit, really welcome to others who have been anywhere near me. Something in there also makes me want to identify lavender, but possible I am wrongly identifying that!

This scent is really nice. Smells nicely woody with a scent of pure willow and birth. Nicely long lasting. Is not over powerful at all and a nice woodbreeze lingers. A tint of vanilla which is very subtle and yet a smokey vanilla in which cools me in these hot summer months.
I really love this fragrance and will be wearing it often.

The fragrance pyramid sums this up perfectly.
A simple, uncomplicated freshly mown, green grass scent, with crisp ,dry woods from willow & birch.Leather and deep, precious, aromatic wood notes add to the musky drydown make a long lasting, sensual fragrance.
Very long lasting without being obtrusive, reminds me of Lui by Rochas but without the pine/fir notes.Although there are no Galbanum or Olibanum notes listed there are slight similarities to Aramis Devin’s (original) green woodiness.Worth seeking out.
Added:- I’ve been wearing this for a while now & get compliments and questions about where to get it. I have seen some for sale on Ebay.
The drydown is superb, like a smokey/mossy vanilla & lasts for ages.
The “smokiness” reminds of an old Lanvin fragrance-Monsieur Lanvin, which has now been discontinued.
