this should smell of burnt money bills, because that is all this scent is about. A couple of sprays on my girl and after an hour all that is left is pure nothingness!

beautiful…simply gorgeous….that opening is like a dream…love it….the drydown is also great.i see the comparison with bvlgari aqva prolly for the seaweed note..but if you havent tried the davidoff silver shadow altitude…smell this and that one side by side…very very close…and the davidoff lasts longer than the TF one…but blend wise i prefer definitely the TF….then again…price point wise…too pricey…get the davidoff at a fraction of a price and thank me later.this one is fresh…sea side feel…and very aromatic…and natural
    for the smell 10/10
    longevity is good…8/10
versatility: good for summer day time
    occasion…both casual and formal
    age…little mature…25 and up
    overall…8/10(coz its pricey)
highly recommended if you have the cash for it

Very nice and woodsy. A bit too woodsy for my tastes as I prefer fresh fragrances, but the dry down is absolutely amazing. It smells so good and herbal, like fresh pine trees! 9.7/10.

The smell of sea breeze, water, and rocks . The best of the Tom fords fresh/neroli collection, but it smells similar to Bvlgari Aqva the original aquatic classic of all time. Even though this is niche, Bvlgari Aqva is a tad bit better.

This has a very great scent to it, and definitely smells oceanic but also green and herbal at the same time. It smells like a niche version of Bvlgari Aqva pour Homme and is one of my favourite Tom Ford private blends as far as scent goes. Sillage however is only moderate, while longevity is also only moderate so a full bottle of this is not worth it for me, considering how expensive it is.

Very ordinary even though i had high hopes for this one. Reminds me a lot of the Acqua Di Gio’s. There is nothing beachy about this. Probably the most designerish release from all the Private blend line. 5/10

For me the real fragrance of summer..Talking about the smell of a real italian beach, the one I’m grown playing in, where you smell algae, pines an juniper, wet Woods and salty seawater.Today’s summer perfumes are all about sunscreens smell, coconut and sweet fruit something, but that’s not the smell of my coasts, the mediterranean Tarquinia Lido. Costa azzurra is a journey through my best summer memories and emotions, the feelings you share with your skin smell, the sun and the pine behind your house..Gorgeous

The best Tom Ford i have tried so far. A very beautiful summer scent which i would probably consider buying if i eventually drop one of my current bottles out of my collection. Insanely pleasant!

Costa Azzurra by Tom Ford comes packaged in one of the most beautiful bottles I have ever laid my eyes on. The stunning azure blue bottle is even more striking than Neroli Portofino’s emerald-green packaging. I was admittedly keen to try Costa Azzura based on the bottle alone.
Costa Azzurra is a citrus aromatic with a masculine undertone. Despite being marketed as unisex, I must admit that it would wear better on a man. It’s a definite Summer fragrance, one that would suit humid climates or beach-type settings.
I will echo other reviewers in saying that Costa Azzura has a classic citrus cologne aroma on the skin. I’m surprised to see oud listed in the official scent pyramid. The oud note is very subtle, only vaguely evident towards the base. The most dominant notes to my nose include driftwood, lemon, seaweed, celery seeds, juniper and vetiver.
I’m not much of a beach-goer, so for that reason, Costa Azzurra doesn’t strike me as something I would regularly reach for. The longevity is however very long lasting on my skin, so this would make an excellent choice for warm days when most fragrances dissipate under extreme temperatures.
I have only just got around to sampling more from Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino line, and from what I’ve gathered so far, they all appear to be best suited to Summer and Spring wear. Costa Azzurra would make a beautiful choice for a trip away to Hawaii or to the European coastline.

I think if you’re a layperson who doesn’t understand what Greece smells like when the tradewinds blow the scents of mythological creature persperations from the sea, you’d be just find knowing that this smells like a nice alternative to Acqua Di Gio.
Not quite the same strength/projection, but more complex, subtle, refined. Acqua Di Gio with a twist. Kinda like you took Acqua Di Gio and ground up two hundred dollar bills and poured them into the bottle.
I’m not saying exact match here, but same world. For sure.

Update: I’m pretty sure I got the wrong juice in my sample (wife had it made at sephora). Smelled this on other occasions and it’s nothing like what I got. But trust me, there’s a Private Blend out there somewhere that smells like chicken shawarma.
This straight up smells like shawarma spice. Not cooked chicken shawarma, but the spice used to make chicken into shawarma. Walk into any Lebanese market and this is the exact smell that hits you in the face as you enter. I’m part Lebanese, so it’s a great nostalgia inducer, but I definitely don’t want to walk around smelling like this, ESPECIALLY being of Arab decent.

With Costa Azzurra, I get mostly juniper and celery seed, with several supporting notes like cardamom, vetiver, and lemon. Very fresh, classy, summery, but with depth and character. Aromatic citrus chypre. Not overwhelming unless you overspray. Very unisex IMO. An excellent green fragrance from Tom Ford. And did I mention the bottle is a gorgeous clear blue.

Costa Azzurra is very unique. When you see oud, you think of something dark and smoky, something heavy. At first spray on this one, you get a very aromatic, woody scent with a tinge of citrus. I’d say the driftwood and oud notes mingling together. The citrus and lavender come through a few moments later, and the combination of all of these almost gives this frag a sort of “barbershop” vibe. As it dries down, the oud note does stick around fairly well. I’d say you end up with an amber-like, fresh smell after all is said and done. I don’t get a ton of vanilla or anything sweet at the base. Maybe a touch of incense. I think it’s pretty well done!

This is effervescent tropical deliciousness! I know most girls love Neroli Portofino, but I am quite ambivalent about it. Citrus and tropical fruits needs woody spiciness to give it flavor, and flavor is what Costa Azzurra offers. To my nose, the driftwood is not rotting (at least, it’s not a ugly decomposition, moreso ‘aged’ and ‘dense’) nor is the sea kelp too briney. There is a hint of blossom and sweet fruitiness. Just the right notes to bring me to the seaside, salty wind blowing in my hair, pink skies and blue waters at sunset.
Super sexy summer scent that is much more rounded than others in the Amalfi Coast collection. It’s complex yet familiar. The full bodied spices help transition it from day to night, though I personally prefer it for night. I wear it myself but would love to smell it on a man.
Buy the body spray version if you want to try it without committing fully. Let’s admit it – this collection of PBs aren’t exactly longevity bombs, so get you a body spray canister so you can reapply without guilt.

My all time favorite cologne for my husband. Smoky, woody but still fresh and bright and not overly serious, while still being unique. This is the epitome of what a 30 something man should wear. I seriously hope they do not discontinue this!

My partner scored this one as a sample – it smelled good at Nordstrom on his arm. I tried it a few times myself and wow. Love this for me. He’s tried a few times and neither of us likes it on him. Interesting! I get the bright and briny, citrus and sunshine effect. Energizes in the morning and mellows out for a pleasant, reassuring warm scent by the time I’m at the office. Reminds me of dry cut grass and citrus blossoms, warm (not hot) Florida afternoons as a kid on vacation. An undercurrent of musky goodness. On my partner, however, it translates as sharp, angular and biting but not in a good way. This is one of a number of scents we’ve tried that only one of us can pull off. Give this a try to see how it works with your chemistry. I suspect the many notes mean that its reactions to skin oils and compositions will result in different results for each wearer. For me, it’s a new favorite, and I will look forward to purchasing a bottle.

I am a huge fan of Tom Ford’s private line and I was looking forward to smelling this one. This is a really weird fragrance. The opening is a bit bad, reminds me of some old lady perfume of the 70s. After 5 minutes or so it transforms to a wonderful skin summer scent with minimum projection. It is slightly closer to the neroli portofino forte than to any other perfume of this line.
I also have to say that I love the colour of the bottle, the marketing campaign got me into dreaming of being in Costa Azzurra, having a wonderful posh life, full of laziness and luxury. Not sure if the perfume itself worths the money of its price though.
*This review was written after several full wearings of the perfume and not just after smelling this on paper or on wrist.

There is nothing conventional about this fragrance. Sometimes the perfect complexity of a scent can make it seem “simple”…..but this is not a “simple” fragrance. It’s rich with depth but airy at the same time. The initial splash of woods, vetiver and juniper dry down to reveal the softness of musk, lavender and lemon…These components blend together so beautifully. Incredible.

Had a TF rep tell me today that this was being discontinued this year in favor of Oud Minerale. She said that it was a surprising move to her, but so was the decision to discontinue Italian Cypress.

I absolutely love this scent. Ill admit I havent been in the fragrance game for a long time but Iv recently purchased some dior and channel and tried some samples of TOMs fragrance lineup. This is by far the favorite so far. Im getting soem decent projection. The scent is wonderful absolutely love it.
When I first sprayed it on it did give me a blast of strong floral but that died down witnin a few seconds and then the lovely aroma of a well mixed fragrance started to tease my nose.

I can see how Costa Azzurra might be a little polarizing. On one hand, there is a slight resemblance to an older run-of-the-mill masculine designer fragrance (Hugo by Hugo Boss, maybe? Been a long time since I smelled that though.) On the other hand, it has an incredibly beautiful dry and realistic scent of natural driftwood, sea, and sun. I find myself on the “love” side of the argument. I think I will always have a bottle of this on hand for the warmer months.
Someone below me mentioned the Seinfeld episode where Kramer invents a perfume that smells like someone who has just come from the beach. That’s exactly what I thought of the first time I tried Costa Azzurra! Remarkable, really.
Longevity is pretty good on me. Sillage seems a little below average. Perfect for a warm dry summer evening.

As user Vegas Pauli mentioned, I too get a Cool Water vibe from this. It’s much more natural smelling than CW, certainly doesn’t have the synthetic background the Davidoff offering does, but nevertheless there are similarities. Weak performance, slightly generic smell and high cost mean it’s a pass from me.

The initial blast of salty sea breeze dies down to a more mature version of the classic Tommy Boy. Decent projection and longevity, linear after the first spritz.

Ooh, interesting! I have to say that over the years I’ve sampled a few Tom Ford fragrances and been distinctly underwhelmed-over priced and over rated I thought. This, on the other hand, is definitely one worth investing it. The salty-beachy-seaweed note is very clear but it’s light and fresh and sharp. It’s champagne on a yacht seaside, not rotting seaweed under a tumbledown pier. The dry down is very smooth-the woodsy notes stop the lavender taking over, I don’t get any soapiness, and there is a lovely gentlemanly smokiness to it (cigars with the champagne!). It’s an aromatic warm fragrance, summertime, not winter. I really liked this-I got more of a masculine vibe from it than feminine, but it’s well worth trying. Longevity is about 3 hours on me.

I ordered a sample of this — at first there is a very old school type of cologne scent, which soon disappears leaving a sweet one behind. I couldn’t put my nose on it, but I had definitely smelled a very similar smell before. I had a cologne that smelled very, very similar to this dry down… but what was it? Finally, I remembered, grabbed it, and confirmed. Axe Lab from 2006. I happened to pick up Axe Lab on clearance years ago because I thought it was an interesting scent. This is back before Axe was the Axe it is today 😉 Anyhow, this is obviously a much more complex scent, but 2 hours into it, the smell is Axe Lab. LOL
I like the Tom Ford, definitely a nice smell.

My girlfriend likes aquatics so I’ve been looking for one that pleases my picky nose. Most aquatics just smell like chemical to me, but this is really naturalistic and good. Even Tom Ford’s other “beachy” scents just smell like expensive sunblock. This smells like a real beach, and I’m well acquainted with beaches because I grew up in Santa Monica. When I sprayed it on a sample card the lavender and citrus top notes made me dismiss it as too masculine for me or my gf but I’d love to give it another chance to see how it develops on skin.

Simply FABULOUS!!!! Completely wonderful on me. I love it. It’s very very weird and interesting, and the last thing I would have thought would smell good on me, but boy!!! It certainly does. You just never know how your body and a perfume will work together, do you?
I love the beach smell; the oh, so natural smells…….it’s absolutely beautiful.

  34. :

I don’t like this. Basically my problem is that I don’t like lavender. The saltiness and beachiness of this is appealing, but in my opinion the lavender ruins everything.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

This is a wonderful fragrance – AT FIRST. I do get seaweed (in a good way) and the freshness mentioned by others including some balsamic notes which harmonize well together. This wonderful scent lasts for about a good hour – just enough time for me to seriously consider a full bottle… HOWEVER, the dry down begins immediately after – like crash landing onto the surface of a Pure Sport deodorant stick – and with this, especially in regards to the etherial aquatics and perfectly blended woody notes from before, a final nail in the coffin for me. I can’t get past the Old Spice at this point and I hate every second of it. After another hour of wearing this I have to wash it off. PURE SPORT, PURE SPORT, PURE SPORT. Save your $200.
I will point out that Costa Azzurra is unique in the Private Blend blue sub-collection. Opting for Neroli Portofino or Mandrino diMalfi won’t give you the same woodiness of Costa Azzurra. That said, those don’t smell like a deodorant stick you can go buy for $3 either.

  36. :

Most aquatic-marine fragrances smell painfully artificial and unpleasant, but this smells natural and beautiful while still invoking images of the ocean. This aquatic vibe lasts for about an hour for me and then suddenly, poof, it becomes pure frankincense/olibanum with incense. Not bad, but just a strange twist in plot. It goes from Mediterranean seaspray over driftwood to caravan carrying incense across sand dunes.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

    What a disappointment!
After a couple seconds from the first spritz it’s extremely interesting.
You can detect rosemary and hints of coastal pine, and seaweed! It’s definitely there!
I couldn’d stop sniffing my wrist. It was so peculiar and reminiscent of a rocky mediterranean coast. One word that comes to my mind is “marine”. It was salty and really good.
After some minutes though, its true nature started shining through. First, the pine smell started growing bigger over the other ingredients. It was too heavy, like balsamic eucapyptus Halls or something.
And after an hour, all I could smell was an unbearable, and incredibly plain “fresh” smell, not a clean and soapy freshness like Neroli Portofino or Mandarino di Amalfi, more like Old Spice or any drugstore woody men deodorant. Simply unbearable.
I gave 9/10 to the first notes of this fragrance as it really gave me feelings. It was emotional and incredible, just like the best fragrance are. I wish Mr Ford elaborated on the saline side of the fragrance, which was so interesting.
But the fragrance’s main body is nothing special, if not close to atrocity.

CA is a nice, woody aquatic, with some depth and complexity from the strong but balanced note of cypress, and I find it refreshing in a coniferous sort of way. This and the mild insence, oud (driftwood?) and seaweed make it stand apart from the other blue bottles with a masculine, “dirty” accord. I agree with another reviewer who said it smells like the actual beach, not the sunbathers on it. It is not a daring or unique fragrance, which I think leaves many TF fans flat.
Longevity is above average for this category. The dry down and ultimate skin scent are very good. It’s a nice change from the more intense TFs for the warmer months, and different from the other citrusy freshies but I’m not sure it’s worth the price difference from designer aquatics by Armani or Bulgari. It reminds me of the rugged Big Sur/Monterey coastline. 8/10.

  40. :

    5 out of 5

I sampled various “blue bottles” from the Private Blends lineup, and to me, this is the weirdest of the bunch!!
An interesting “beachy” scent for sure. But unlike other beachy scents, the focus here is not “sunscreen and tropical drinks”. Its focus seems to be more of the sea, of wood that’s washed ashore, of the shore itself. For me, the scent evokes driftwood that’s washed up onto a white, sandy beach.
I’m an oud-n00b but i think i do smell it. It’s a dry woody smell, backed by a very light citrus. Funny thing, i remark it as a slighty dirty scent but my wife says it’s clean to her. I would personally give this 7/10, it’s very interesting and truly unique, but not something I’d wear. If i lived on the North Shore of Oahu like I’ve always dreamed, this would be something I’d wear there.
*edit: fast forward 1 year; DID I REALLY GIVE THIS A7??? No, this is no less than an 8.5, very unique and totally unoffensive.

  41. :

    3 out of 5

Yes, it invokes the sea. No, it is not pleasant. It dries down smelling like a stinky pier somewhere. The odd thing is that it is somewhat reminiscent of Outremer Oceane, which I like, but this stuff turns me off somehow. Some errant note, I guess. I would not want to smell this on myself all day.
So… not quite scrubber, but close.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

When you put it on, the lime and something chemical is indeed a little bit harsh and soapy.
After a few minutes, Driftwood and a little Oud and Lavender kicks in. The Lime and Mandarin stays a little milder as in the opening.
It’s not as salty and dirty as Azure Lime, which i think should also be in a blue bottle. It’s fresh and aquatic and it stays on my skin at least 6 hours, which is remarkable for a summer scent. Although, sillage is very close to skin. In the drydown i smell some vetiver.
there is the drawback, that this artificial soapy touch doesn’t fade away and stay until the end.
It’s not worth a full bottle. Sorry.
    7/10

  43. :

A disappointment for the price and for the quality that the Tom Ford Private Blend line claims.
The opening is interesting and stays true to the light blue boxed costal concept it aims to represent, being a little bit salty and marine like, with a sweetness from mandarin and later a herbaceous tone from myrtle and lavender. After that, on my skin, I’m left with a citrus nuanced oud, a note that doesn’t work with my personal taste. A synthetic oud note I may dare to say, since there are so many different oud smelling fragrances out now that exude more quality.
It doesn’t work for me in warm weather, or in any weather as I find it nothing special or desirable. Mandarino di Amalfi is the best from the line (I have yet to smell Fleur de Portofino though)
I would never spend that amount of money for the olfactory experience it offers. Would you purchase a fragrance that only represents its intended concept in the opening?

  44. :

    3 out of 5

    I really love this.
The opening is one of the best warm weather fragrances I have ever experienced.
I get spearmint, shot through with lavender and driftwood, then a little lemon, juniper and seaweed, it is just divine.
Then the drydown comes and brings a more intense “sun bleached, smoky driftwood” (which may be a little too strong for some) with some pepper and herbs.
This smells like nothing else I have experienced, there is quite a bit going on in CA, but it never becomes muddled. I really think they captured a tiny piece of the Mediterranean in a bottle with great success.
I wish the longevity and projection were a little better, but it is a summer fragrance and most seem to suffer in that respect.
    This is a summer masterpiece.

  45. :

    3 out of 5

I CAN UNDERSTAND A LOT OF THINGS.
I can understand people being disappointed with the price. I can understand it being labeled as overly unique or strange, but what I cannot understand is the amount of dislikes that this fragrance has. It is unfathomable to me.
Anyway, this fragrance is fantastic. It is an interesting ocean/aquatic oud with a citrus lavender dry down that exits with oak, vanilla and vetiver. I fell madly in love with it over the past couple of weeks. Anytime I make a sample last more than a month, its special to me. It had great silage and longevity on me. The oud is not the selling point here though it does make its presence know from time to time. This fragrance does not abuse the oud train like some followers “trust me”.
Personally I love it, though I could not justify the purchase this close to fall. I will reserve this buy for spring/summer 2016.
    Overall Fragrance: 9/10
    Longevity: 9/10
    Silage: 8/10
    Thanks For Reading,

Tom Ford Costa Azzurra is an usual marine composition of driftwood, seaweed, oud, and vanilla. It embodies the beach and the ocean together in a way that I occasionally detect, for example, in Nautica Oceans, where the saltiness and near-bitterness are captured. CA has sweet vanilla, as well, though, so it does deviate from a purely natural beach smell in that respect. Not surprisingly, it starts out harsher and evolves into a sweeter dry down where the vanilla is expressed more.
I’ve heard comparisons to Bond No. 9 Montauk and a host of other scents that I’m unfamiliar with, but CA still scores high with me in the uniqueness factor. It’s a departure from most genres of aquatics, beach smells, citruses, etc. and so it has a welcome place in the TF Private Blend line. While its projection and longevity pale in comparison to its cold weather kin (Tobacco Vanille, Noir de Noir, Italian Cypress), it still performs strongly in both respects, but I can understand why a warm weather fragrance over $200 can be a challenge to justify.
I’d certainly recommend at least trying it out since it’s off the beaten path. I enjoy it as a warm weather option–it surely doesn’t seem like typical Creeds, let alone designers, in the “fresh” realm, and rightly so, since it isn’t purely fresh. I’m still puzzled by it to some extent but it fills an artistic beachy void in my collection.

I sprayed this at sephora and it smelled really good. Sprayed 4 to the neck and was worried because its “parfum” but I don’t think so. It was a skin scent from beggining to end. For a price tag of $200+ I will pass

It would have been nice without the wall of chemicals. It smells nice underneath the chemicals. Like a smoky incense citrus peel but I can’t get past that synthetic pepper. Its so stroooong.

The best out of Blue Line -citrus flower fresh, woody and resinous.
Neroli Portofino – has 5 minutes longevity.
Mandarino di Amalfi – smells like a can of mandarin wedges in syrup

  50. :

Opens with a juicy splash of citrus which soon disperses into a predictable salty sea breeze scent, with hints of a gentle vanilla. Oud is completely imperceptible, as in the incense.
The effect is at least fresh and uplifting, but in my opinion, not terribly interesting and for this kind of money I would expect a heck of a lot more.

The only thing I appreciate about this is how the agarwood and marine aspects clash and blend at the same time. This perfume however, is slightly boring, pedestrian, and weak.
I am about 16/20 on TF fragrances, but this is not in the 16 I have enjoyed.

  54. :

It’s well done, has an effervescent quality, and sort of gives me a Givenchy Pour Homme vibe. Projection and sillage aren’t much. I like it, it’s a pleasant versatile scent, but the price… I’m good with a 5 mL decant.
Update: Wearing it daily and waiting for that that “it” moment, but it’s not happening. The more I wear it, the more it reminds me of a generic aerosol body spray, à la old spice or c.o. bigelow.. Perhaps I should set it aside and “rediscover” it next month.

I read some disparaging comments on this one so trying it for the first time I thought it was potentially going to be somewhat disappointing. Summery aquatics get a bad rap to begin with. Why? Longevity is always a factor. You just can’t sustain natural citruses for any extended period of time due to their unstable and fleeting nature. Enter all sorts of synthetics, yet the result will still be the same….”fresh”, “refreshing” and or “clean” will be the description. That being said, TF set the bar pretty high with Neroli Portofino as far as longevity and sillage was concerned. Unfortuantely you don’t get too much variation with these types of creations either. More complex scents for winter or fall will invariably have some citruses as the top notes and they will immediately wear off, but it’s no big deal when you have a huge batch of patchouli, musc, labdanum, cardamom, etc…underneath. Make a whole scent out of the top notes? It’s not that easy folks and it ain’t gonna last. All that being said, this is a pretty unique take on the aquatic/citrus genre. Salty, a little bit dirty yet clean, and a beautiful citrus backdrop make this way better than what many naysayers make it out to be. In fact, this is an excellent fragrance in my opinion. Huge sillage for the first hour to two, then it dies down pretty significantly sillage wise, but it does last on the skin for another four to five hours. It’s not abnormal for this type of fragrance to need to be reapplied after a few hours. It’s actually quite a joy to experience that first hour or so over and over again. Make a small decant, take it with you and freshen up. People will love you for the way you smell. As for the price, of course it’s expensive. It’s Tom Ford. That damn blue bottle is gorgeous so if you have trepidation about reapplying an expensive fragrance, stay away. However I don’t feel this should detract from this genre or this particular scent. Yann Vansier is a master perfumer and this is a summer scent that is truly worth the price.

Costa Azzurra – Pleasant, luxurious and Beach-y
Out of the two new releases by Tom Ford, I decided to get a decant of this one and give it a try.
To be honest, I understand it isn’t an easy task to come out with a fragrance that would make a statement in the aquatics genre. It’s rather easy to blend in like the other xyz releases as the genre itself is quite mainstream and common of late.
    What do I smell? –
Aromatic woody aquatic with a marine- beachlike vibe. It smells really clean and masculine, somewhat like an expensive shampoo.
There is a hint of mineral like dirt.. and some seaweed which really creates an image of being on the beach, walking casually near the sea.. with shorts and a loose shirt. Another scent that brings up this image is Sel Marin by Heeley, which is much more realistic and dirtier(saltier) in comparison. Costa Azzurra feels more refined and luxurious.
A solid release in the aquatic genre, the driftwood note works like a charm and gives it a very nice definition. It truly does have the driftwood vibe.
I like the scent for what it is, and is a good release for the summer months. I wouldn’t suggest trying this for want of something strikingly unique, nor would I suggest having an expectation of the heaviness and opulence of the other Private Blends.
Performance wise, it performs good for a summer scent. I can suggest being a bit more liberal in the sprays, and applying on the clothes too. 4 sprays from the decant lasts around 7-8 hours on me, with moderate to light projection (good for office).

This smells exactly like Axe when it first came out. Literally no difference. The orginal Axe smell.

The opening is pretty unspectacular. I think, oh, another “clean smell”. But when it gets to the basenotes, this stuff is gorgeously clean and just undeniably sexy. It’s a skin scent, probably good for an intimate moment.

    Utterly Mediocre.
Even someone as brilliant at Tom Ford can still make fragrances that are just ho hum. This is not a bad fragrance, but its just citrus, musk, and has a “Tangerine” like top note for a basic eau de cologne.
It reminds me a lot of “M” by Banana Republic, they both have mandarin, citrus, sage, musk, and lavender.
Not a bad fragrance, but there are other cheaper alternatives, and its nothing really special that makes it worth the heavy price purchase.

Another typical Tom Ford: excellent ingredients, well made but ultimately extremely boring and rather anonymous. I had to think quite awhile before I could select the “reminds me of” since there were so many. If you want a very good aquatic that doesn’t have the skank note that so many have (think Womanity or Mare Pacifico) so it smells like a Platonic ocean water rather than the real stuff, this is what you want. No comp
