Description

After successful fragrance Radiance, which surprised us with its flacon created of transparent turquoise and pink surfaces, its successor arrives with the same form but different notes!

Cosmic Radiance is a completely new perfume which arrives on the market in 2011, in a flacon with the same design as last year’s Radiance. Created of black and glittery transparent surfaces reminiscent of gems, a small dose of elegance and femininity is added by the pink color on the neck of the bottle.

Cosmic Radiance is inspired by a star which twinkles brighter than all other stars —a star of a distant galaxy, far away from this world. The composition of Britney’s new cosmic glow begins with strong and optimistic citruses, with a refreshing, glittery red bouquet opening its fragrant petals in the very heart of the composition. The base notes twinkle and add warmth with amber, soft vanilla and creamy sandalwood.

The fragrance can be expected with the launch of a new remix album by Britney Spears. “Be the brightest star of the universe!“ says Britney. The fragrance will be launched under the license of Elizabeth Arden.
Cosmic Radiance was created by Honorine Blanc and Harry Fremont.

    The bottle:
It’s looks nice just like the original just with black & white instead of the pink & blue.
    Inside the bottle:
Fruity, casual & simple are the words to describe this perfume. When sprayed you can smell the litchi, mandarin orange, pear & tuberose. When dried you might be able to pick up a scent of vanilla (to be honest I don’t really smell a strong vanilla scent) and musk along with sandalwood.Longevity is okay but more on the poor side.Sillage is strong but way lighter then the original.
Overall: This perfume is perfect for someone who loves a fruity scent. If you find the first perfume too strong you one might like this one better because it’s lighter. To be honest I find this perfume a little boring compared to her other scents.

I’m not usually a fan of florals I find most of them a little overwhelming. This one is a nice fresh floral that I feel like I’ll be comfortable wearing especially in the office or places where I don’t really want to wear my usual like “fun, fruity” scents. Quite pleasantly surprised by this. I’d rate it a 7/10.

    Lovely fresh floral scent
The lasting power is 8 hours
    The silage is good

This smells strikingly similar to Radiance, but it’s fruitier and less floral. I’m not a huge fan of tuberose, so I like this fragrance better. It’s light, and has a fun mix of sweet and tart notes going on. It’s not a groundbreaking scent, but I find it cheery and uplifting. I’ll definitely keep it my collection when I need a quick spritz of something fresh and feminine and don’t want to use up my more expensive perfumes. Longevity and sillage are actually pretty good, you probably won’t have to keep reapplying this one!

This and ‘Radiance’ are very similar but I prefer the original.
Lasts well and projects well too. Not one of her best but it’s pretty.

I like this more than radiance.
At some point it has that curious vibe in it but with some twist.
    Really really like it.

Yes, it’s kinda synthetic smelling. Yes, it’s fruity and ditzy. But it’s a celebrity scent and it’s only $10! And for that, you get what you pay for.
The citrus is very prominent, alongside some lychee and sweet white florals. Some pear thrown in to keep it fresh and watery.
I don’t love this, but it is nice and simple. It’s so good to throw on and go on your way. It’s an easy unoffensive scent. This is my second bottle, I enjoy it a lot more than the original Radiance. I was craving something easy to wear at work and around the house, and Cosmic Radiance hits the spot.
Try not to take it so seriously, because it really isn’t.

Celebrity perfumes aren’t very common where I live, or I rarely see them around in shops in any case, and judging by the sample of Cosmic Radiance that I got by chance, that’s not a big loss. It’s not that it’s bad, exactly, but it smells just about as cheap as it is: a generic fruity floral, sweet and girly and kind of nice, but also rather synthetic-smelling and with limited projection and staying power. I think I would have liked this a lot better when I was a teenager, but nowadays I’d rather go to Yves Rocher if I was looking for a good cheapie.

    I love it.
It starts with citrus, the orange stays strong throughout the fragrance then the beautiful and gentle florals come out, giving a sweet feel. It settles to a smooth and warm amber/wood/vanilla scent, this great combination makes the fragrance to give a more sensual feeling I find that this fragrance has a lovely cosy warmth about it. It feels like it wraps me in a orang-amber-vanilla scarf.I will be definitely wearing this as my autumn perfume. The only bad point about Cosmic Radiance is that it lasts only 3 hours on my skin.
    That s for now 🙂

I like this one as well. Very Nice.

The more I wear this, the more I realize the orange note stands out on me more than the other fruity notes, although most people mention the lychee and pear. Hidden Fantasy is my favorite Fantasy flanker, and it’s not unreasonable to think of this as kind of a spring/summer version of Hidden fantasy – much less spicy than HF, and made brighter and more appropriate for warm weather with the floral notes.

I am giving all the perfumes a chance. I’ve come full circle. Designer, high end, niche, back to drugstore staples to make sure I have smelled it/them all. This is not bad. It is that overused word, though – generic. It smells like a lot of things you might have smelled before. It does smell good though and it does the job, if you want a moderate lasting and projecting floral fruity, with a largely musky base. This is slightly spicy also and I don’t find it overly sweet. The sharpness and freshness of the fruits (litchi and pear) seem to temper any screeching vanilla. Layered with Lancome Miracle, this becomes something I want to wear. I know, what a thing to do, layer two perfumes, in order to get something I really like. Why not? Not bad, far more wearable for me than Fantasy and the other sweet things. Just don’t overspray this and it smells a lot better than you think it might! Next stop Curious.

Based on some of the reviews, I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this. I love Britney’s perfumes though, so I gave it a try.
It’s nothing like her other perfumes I’ve tried, and I haven’t tried the original Radiance, so I can’t compare. This one is so fruity and floral. The lychi note is very distinct on my skin, a smell I haven’t yet encountered in a perfume before. I also get some orange and vanilla, and strong floral notes. It’s a very pretty, warm smell that makes me think of walking through a garden.
It has a decent staying power, at least on me. I don’t think it would be a perfume I’d wear every day, it makes me think of spring time and I find that very comforting since it’s the middle of winter lol.
Not her best, but a pretty perfume nonetheless. I got it for $20 at Rexall, and I’d say for that price it’s a nice buy 🙂

Did not enjoy this at all! Gave it away to my mom. The scent is fruity at all. It smells of alcohol and something else, I can’t put my finger on it.
The bottle is beautiful though but it don’t make up for the fragrance itself. Would never try again /:
My mom don’t hate it, but she doesn’t love it either. It works alright, she says.

I think I like Radiance more, this fragrance is a bit more sour, though it is quite similar. I just purchased a full bottle of this and now I am wishing I could find a full bottle of Radiance. I only have a little bottle at the time of writing. One big plus is that the bottle is so pretty,

  16. :

This just doesn’t work on my skin. It somehow manages to turn green, sour and soapy. I suspect that the compounds responsible for the peony and pear notes are to blame, particularly the pear. I will be passing my bottle on, sadly.

I’ve bought both Radiance and Cosmic Radiance without even trying because I was confident I would like them (as I’ve seen the notes here in fragrantica) and they were really inexpensive… But before leaving the store, I decided to spray the tester of them just to confirm. Both were EXTREMELLY nauseating and Radiance gave me a bad headache. Really strong.
BUT, when I got home, I opened them and then I sprayed one in each arm. THEY ARE DELICIOUS. I think that the testers were spoiled or something.. Because smell completely different from the ones I have. The testers were really artificial and sour, it reminded me of medicine. Radiance is really fresh, fresh flowers and fresh berries. At first it smells like a candy or bubblegum because of the berries. It is really innocent and perfect for daily wear or a walk in the park during summer or spring.
Cosmic Radiance doesn’t have the sweetness of the red berries but it’s a fresh sweetness coming from the pear and litchi. So delicious. It has the same floral aspect of Radiance but you can feel the vanilla during the drydown.
Both have really good sillage in the first 30 minutes and then the smell stay close to the skin. Not very good longevity. Radiance disappears completely in 2-3 hours. Cosmic radiance flowers and fruits disappears in 2-3 hours as well but the vanilla lingers on my skin a couple of hours long. I have to reaply them quite a lot during the day but I don’t mind. They are really delicious and everybody compliments me specially when I’m wearing Cosmic Radiance.

I adore lychee (litchi?) as a fruit, it smells so delicious and mouthwatering. But I have no luck with perfumes with lychee notes, they smell masculine on me. But this one is quite nice, it’s a bit sweet, a bit floral with a hint of vanilla. Totally love it!

  19. :

that is totally fine with me thank you !

@tyekristopher it is the same with an extra-sweet dose of lychee. If you love Radiance, you will probably love this one because they are very similar. But you have to be ok with it being at least twice as sweet as the original.

how is this compared to her other fragrances, I owned the original radiance at one point but it was just meh, I want to get a bottle off amazon and try it. Is it a rip off of the original or is it different in it’s own right? I do want to try it, I love fantasy, curious, in control and believe any tips would help

More love for Cosmic Radiance. Am one of the few who prefer this to Radiance. I like the pear and vanilla more than red berries and tuberose. This has more depth and personality to me. This is more adult. Yet this remains fun. Find the Britney line is very high quality by Elizabeth Arden. I mean, I love her so why did Mariah’s perfumes from the same parent company go so wrong and chemical? Here is white floral that gets sweetened up a bit but not to Fantasy levels. Cosmic Radiance, to me, falls somewhere between a pure floral like Curious and a floral fruity as we tend to know them .. but more on the soft, sweet side. Here I find balance between the fruit and flowers. Here the girl takes a step towards being a woman. Well done. This would be my pick for images of laughter and picnics in the park. In many ways it is much like Curious In Control if you added white floral. Great buy for the price.

I finally decided to write a review about Cosmic Radiance. First let me say that it is my favorite fragrance from the Britney Spears line. I know usually people don’t even consider Cosmic Radiance with the excuse that it is the exact same fragrance as the original Radiance. In my case, call me crazy, but I don’t think they smell alike AT ALL. They are completely different. Maybe it is because my skin intensifies floral notes and so Radiance is a pure floral bouquet while Cosmic Radiance is much more with more stages of evolution.
The opening is citrusy with a splash of mandarin and pear with drops of litchi. Kind of a really tasty smoothie. 🙂 For me, the litchi is not as prominent as stated above but anyway. From the first minutes I can already smell an intensive vanilla smell, a very calming vanilla smell. I think maybe there is vanilla orchid in the top notes because it is not the same vanilla as in the dry down.
The citrusy opening does not last a very long time. After 20 or 30 minutes, you’re already driven to a garden party decorated with lots of very expensive floral bouquets around a swimming pool with chic people having a brunch on Sunday. I like this picture ! As always, my skin plays the floral notes VERY loud. I must say, this floral bouquet is composed of some of the most heavy white floral notes : jasmine, tuberose and GARDENIA ! I love gardenia and fortunately, it is very strong on my skin. What’s interesting pointing out is that while you’re surrounded by delicious floral notes, you still get hints of fruits, notably the mandarine. I would picture Britney having a refreshing Fanta (Fanta, Fanta, no Coke !) around the swimming pool with a huge and beautiful bouquet of gardenias next to her. Mmmh it sounds delicious.
Again, vanilla is not that far away, maybe some orchids are part of the garden party ! I mean, the development of the fragrance is very quick. After the very short opening and the almost as short heart, you’re directly pushed to the base notes after maybe 2 hours. And I’m not complaining as the more the fragrance develops, the more intensive the vanilla becomes strong ! And I mean, the vanilla is very good ! It is sweet but not too sweet and with, from time to time, dry facets. Don’t get me wrong, it does not become a dry vanilla like in a Guerlain but the vanilla can show very interesting shades as the perfumes evolves accompanied by the heavenly white flowers.
Somehow, the gardenia slightly fades away to make some room for the tuberose which shows warm and sunny facets just as in the original Radiance. From here, there is not much evolution anymore.I mean, the warm vanilla is constantly switching from sunny facet with the tuberose to creamy facets with the gardenia and from time to time, heady facets with the jasmine. The result is a very interesting but still straightforward vanilla-floral scent. As my skin does not allow the fruits to stand out, I would classify Cosmic Radiance in a Gourmand Floral category instead of the usual Fruity Floral one.
Now about the longevity and sillage, prepare to be surprised ! It last for a very, very long time ! From very early in the morning when you spray it until very late at night you can still clearly smell it ! And it comes from someone whose skin usually drinks perfume ! I think it is partly because of the fragrance “texture”. It is kind of “oily” instead of watery if you know what I mean. Moreover, the sprayer sprays A LOT of perfume at a time, the part of your body you spray is all wet after spraying it and I’m on my fourth bottle so it’s not due to a defective bottle. Same happens with the original Radiance.
And the sillage, do we have to talk about the sillage ? It is almost a monster sillage ! I mean, it won’t completely fill a room nor makes people feel sick. The sillage is just very thick and you leave a trail wherever you go, even after 8 hours ! When Angel by Thierry Mugler is strong, heady and overpowers everything around you (I like it !), Cosmic Radiance is in a way softer but follows you everywhere. I had people complimenting me a lot of times !
Once, I had classes from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. after what I was supposed to go to a little party before catching the last train from the campus to my home. My father came to catch me with the car at the train station at 1.30 a.m. and asked me what I was wearing because I smelled wonderfully good and if I reapplied in the train ! He was very amused when I told him it was Britney Spears and astonished when I told him I only sprayed it in the morning at 7 !
I love this fragrance and I wear it year round. I had more compliments on this fragrance than on anything else I ever wore. It has a special place in my heart and in my collection. It was my first Britney fragrance and also my first celebrity one. It is among my top ten favorite fragrances and I always have back-up bottles ! It is so cheap also ! I prefer the 50ml bottle over the smaller and the bigger one as I think it has a very good size and is cuter. I like the bottle design and the rhinestones make the bottle easy to grip and spray. 🙂 I only wished the collar would be metallic grey.
To conclude, as I already said, it is my favorite Britney perfume and I think those that are not convinced by it and still have a bottle should try it again with some patience and try it on different days, the weather can change a fragrance.
Anyway, I think maybe I should stop writing so that’s it for today ahah !
    Colour: WHITE, ORANGE and GREEN

This is a nice bright sweet and tart scent. There is Nothing “dark” about it. It is more complex than Radiance, yet very similar to it. The litchi is very prominent. I like it!

Cute! I expected less from BS perfume 🙂 But I was pleasantly surprised!

  27. :

Ah, saw “Cosmic Radiance” at the counter today, and at first spritz all I thought was ok! Yes, I got creamy amber, and a musky delight, but for me another fruity floral, just is not right. The mentholated lilt of the tuberose is there too, and methinks I discern was it litchi?, who knew! Not to knock someones work, that’s something not to do, but perhaps a little pink pepper might make it shine too!
I’m in my thirties now, no need to smell like pop. Or candy or bubblegum or chewy gum drop. I want Britney to do something much more mature – this is not my satellite, not for my my fume wardrobe for sure. For those of us for whom “Cosmic Radiance” shines through, be free to purchase without further ado!

If you like being attacked by a Flower Elemental, this fragrance is for you. I, personally, have this shield of floral protection +20. It’s really not my thing.
Now. I hear the original is more berry/tarty. I haven’t gotten the nerve to try it yet, but I’m sure I will. Like all knights of the realm… I must be brave. 🙂
On the upside: I review safe perfumes for migraine sufferers, and this one is A-Okay guys… if you have an understanding with such floral monstrosities. I hear there is some special alchemical attunement that works well with them. 😉
Epilogue: The Flower Elemental was coaxed back into it’s bottle and lived happily ever after in a loving home.
-I also review perfumes safe for migraine sufferers and this one not caused one, though I am unsure yet if it would aggravate one when you already have a headache.

This is a beautify perfume , definitely my favorite out of Britneys collection. Like the previous reviewer, it smells modern but I would call it modern in a comforting way. Strong enough to be smelled but not overpowering. I wear this almost daily, when I have it. I tend to use it up fast, its so good. I even wear it to bed because that’s how much I comforts me. I’m not really one for excessive fruity scents, so I guess the florals balance this out nicely.

  30. :

    3 out of 5

I’ve been wearing it everyday recently, without being aware it for really a while! The smell is modern and distinctive. Loads of perfumes these days are either so overwhelming,I’m-a-big-woman-and-I-don’t-care like and sexual in the face, due to some of the wooden notes maybe, or so soft, soapy and even a bit submissive, owed to some floral notes I think, or so sweet that remind me of some chocolate etc. But this one is just a perfect blend. It smells modern, very positive and assertive but not aggressive, like an I-stand-on-my-feet-but-I-don’t-walk-into-others attitude. Maybe I should say, it smells modern and radiant 😀
I haven’t tried the original Radiance. Now I’m tempted 😀

It’s feminine, light, airy, crisp, clean, requires reapplication, lovely scent. Simple, nice but nothing special. Don’t get me wrong! I like it I do. It stays in my ordinary perfume collection. That safe perfume for office use as I call it.
It comes in a pretty bottle that I love. Having to live in a hot and humid weather all year long, it is definitely not an outdoor stroll perfume for me. The sweet smell quickly turned sour on my skin if I ever decided to wear this perfume on a day outdoor. I chose to use it for office use instead.
One application is all I need for office use and it lasted whole day on me. Before I get dressed, I’ll spray it on my body (on neck, shoulders, cleavage, hips, knees and ankle). Sounds over perfumed huh, it’s how I apply my perfumes everyday.

  32. :

Very good and similar to nude by rihanna. I have both and Britney’s is much better. It’s stronger and has a kick to it whereas nude disappears within a few hours and considering cosmic radiance was first my points go to Britney for creating such a unique and lovely scent. Rihannas perfumes are nothing special and I may have a soft spot for BS and but you have to take to account the fact that she was one of the very first to release a perfum the fantasy is still going and its one of the best and most popular perfumes out there. I’ve had most of them and though not all of them were to my liking they are all great and cosmic radiance is amongst the best 5. I find that it’s different to the original radiance, its got more depth and originality.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

This is a very floral perfume with hints of musk and some mild fruit notes. I feel some orange zest and a gentle pear note but mostly just white flowers. A little average.
Compared to Radiance, this is more intensive. Radiance is much softer in my opinion, maybe a better choice for the young ones.
If you consider buying this or Radiance as a blind buy, I’d recommend the last: Radiance.

  34. :

    4 out of 5

I agree that it smells almost like Radiance with a lil bit juicier on top note.
For me, they’re like twin sister. Radiance is sweet and romantic like a girly twin while Cosmic Radiance is fresh and energetic like a tomboy twin.
The longevity and sillage are as same as Radiance (Really strong at first couple hours then getting lighter but still noticeable).
If you love Radiance, you will not regret to get this one.

  35. :

Very fruity citrus opening, then the fresh light florals slowly appear and a creamy vanilla dry down, this is a gorgeous scent, i love it.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

I had this one listed as one to buy but changed my mind after smelling it. I have Radiance already and I actually like this one better but it is just too similar to Radiance. I think Cosmic Radiance must have been an “Oops” batch of Radiance. They made a slight error in formulation, then decided to repackage it as a “new” scent. Sorry it takes more than a new color scheme on a bottle to trick me. Too bad I didn’t get Cosmic Radiance first as it is the prettier fraternal twin between the two.

  37. :

    SHARP EFFERVESCENCE
I bought this after my friend used it on a night out and I liked the smell, however on my skin this reminds me of Tommy Hilfiger’s Tommy Girl!
Brings back memories of high school for me and I wish I’d purchased the smaller bottle because I can’t finish the 100ml. It is a very sharp but youthful fragrance – better suited to teens so I wont be re-purchasing this one.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

I must confess the top notes remind me of scented bug repellant. Not unpleasant, just strong and sharp.
After about an hour this starts to turn to softer white florals.
Several hours in comes the most heavenly dry-down! Very close to the skin, but so rich and velvety. Such a contrast from the opening.
A really fun journey over six hours and counting! I like this much more than I expected to.
ETA: The gorgeous dry-down, which is strictly a skin scent, is identical (on me) to Viva La Juicy!

  39. :

All I smell is celery. Very odd, as I’ve never had a perfume do this on my skin. The original smells a lot better on me. I hope it smells lovely on others.

I found this tonight at shoppers drug mart, and it was in the discounted shelf for 19.99 for a 100ml bottle! I have to say, as much as I have ALWAYS said that the majority of the time celebrity fragrances are sheer nastiness, I do believe I’m eating some humble pie because lately the ones I have smelled have been terrific! This one is nice, it’s soft, girly, pretty and tasteful! Traditionally, celebrity perfumes are FAR from a classy fragrance, even if they smell good, they almost always are very immature, if anyone knows what I mean by that! Basically they smell young! And while this one is on the younger side of maturity, it is still very nice! I wouldn’t be paying anymore than 20-30 dollars for it, but a great deal for a twenty sheet of you ask me 🙂

I’ve tried this one million times. I always get the same feeling it simply makes me sick. I can’t even point out the notes as all I get is horrible nausea. I like other BS’s perfumes but this one is just horrendous!

  44. :

    3 out of 5

I bought this blindly because I love Britney Spears other fragrances. I love it. I’ve never tried the original Radiance so I can’t comment on the similarity between them, but I own Circus Fantasy and I can kinda see(Smell? lol) the resemblance/similarity and it honestly doesn’t bother me that they are similar. To me, it’s a big mash up of fresh and clean, sweet and floral, and yummy and creamy. Which sounds weird, but I love it. I got complimented minutes after I sprayed it on by my moms friend.

  45. :

    4 out of 5

I have to agree with most of the below comments. The tuberose is definitely not as strong as the original. I love the bottle and box for this one. The black and white of the bottle and the hot pink box is a great contrast. As for the actual scent it isn’t bad and isn’t great. It’s okay. I don’t wear this very often and haven’t actually worn it for ages. I need to wear it to judge the lasting power as I can’t remember. This gets a 6/10 from me x

  46. :

    5 out of 5

I prefer Cosmic Radiance over the original, because the tuberose is stronger in the original. There are similarities to the original radiance, and cosmic radiance, but they aren’t completely the same. I think comic radiance is a lighter version of the original. Overall I give this perfume a 8/10.

  47. :

    3 out of 5

The tuberose is less intensive than in the original Radiance. For this i like this version much more, and regret buying the other one before knowing it!!

  48. :

I wanted to know how strong is the tuberose in this perfume, and the orginal radiance? My nose isn’t to found of it, and if it’s just too strong, I can’t wear it.

Floral vanilla with a strong note of clean laundry. The laundry musk bothers me somehow so I can’t wear it anymore. But I do wash my clothes regularly! lol. But I think it is an interesting fragrance in composition.

    Mosquito Repellent.
I love Midnight Fantasy, but this one is something that I don’t even want to think or smell again. I try it once its yuck, I give it another chance totally a disaster to my nose.

  51. :

    3 out of 5

It really smells nothing like Radiance! It smells more creamy and fruity. It is not as sweet as her other fragrances because this has a “clean” smell through the whole duration. To some, it might smell strong at first, but after 5 minutes, it settles into a beautiful creamy floral mixed with fruits and vanilla. I also found that the body lotion lasts and smells like the actual fragrance.
It lasts for 4+ hours and has fair projection.
Cosmic Radiance smells really good and pleasant.

I don’t find it similiar to original Radiance. I think this one is more similiar to Viva La Juicy La Fleur, almost the same.
I like Radiance more than this one, Radiance is more complex and unique. This one is too generic. But the bottle of Cosmic Radiance is soooooo good…. I will buy this just for the bottle

I really didn’t like this one. To me, it smelled kind of bad. I couldn’t imagine wearing this and smelling it for hours.

I was at Kohl’s the other day, and I smelled this, and to me it smelled like pure RUM! Does anyone else think this, or does Kohl’s have a bad tester bottle sitting out?

I actually love this perfume now that i’ve given it a chance.
I cannot spray this directly on my skin, the woodsy notes, the litchi, as well as the musk dominate the entire perfume if i do so… and it smells like bug spray : (
    !!!BUT!!!
If I spray this into the air and walk through it, it smells freaking amazing.
I get this delicious Tuberrose soaked in madarian orange juice and vanilla musk.
once it dries down it becomes this woodsy, sandalwood with a hint of vanilla musk.
    It’s also pretty strong.

I don’t usually go for fruity fragrances but I have to say I am loving this! I bought this based on reviews on another site. I really like stronger scents so I tried it. I cannot smell it on myself after a couple hours, however, others still can. That’s awesome! I gave my sister in law a hug when I had it on and she said she could smell it on her dress when she took it off! She loved it too!

This smells identical to the original Radiance perfume to me, and since I already have a review of that one, I’ll just say that it smells very simple, sparkling, and unoffensive. Definitely a good first perfume for a young lady or a classy fragrance for a young woman. Great perfume, especially for the price. 7/10

The similarity of this and Radiance are just the scent.. but when you spray the scent is more improved.

Yes, it smells a lot like if not exactly like “Radiance” BUT the fruity layers are much thicker, and it doesnt have as much of a fresh clean smell, the fruity and candy are heavier on this, but still with a cleaner fresh under tone. I like the bottle, but the Radiance bottle is better, I have noticed a lot of people wear it at “night” I have yet to do so! I think my next night out, or time needing to wear a fragrance “late” I will wear this and see how I feel.

Smells cheap, generic, boring…. like shampoo. The original Radiance is sooooo much better!!! Also, for the first 30 minutes the smell is too sharp and bitter. It starts to smell average around 30 minute mark. The drydown is slightly more interesting. It resembles caramel apples. This perfume doesn’t last very long at all. I would not recommend buying this. Stick to the original Radiance, trust me. That one is actually good.
Update: It is an allright perfume, on second thought, I guess. The heart is a lot warmer than the opening and that is its saving grace. It kinda makes me hungry, really keep smeling caramel apples…interesting. I hope I didn’t end up with a fake, cause the bottom of my bottle doesn’t say Cosmic Radiance..it just has the sticker with the specs but no title. ;(

A lighter version of Radiance. This scent was more like a lighter, watered down version of the Radiance. This scent didn’t last but maybe 1-2 hours and just smells a bit “cheap”. I prefer Brittany Spears Radiance over Cosmic radiance.

All I get is fruits doused in super sweet, fake vanilla cream. Figures how I was so excited to smell the mandarin orange, thinking this combined with the vanilla note it would smell like a delicious creamsicle, EH! WRONG! After it starts to wear there isn’t even a smoky base or a flutter of sweet jasmine or gardenia to satisfy me–NEXT!

I like the scent well enough.
The juicy pear opening seems to fade quite quickly, and I’m left with an ambery-jasmine heart that smelt SO familiar until it finally struck me that it shared that same heady, almost-fruity jasmine in The Body Shop’s Neroli Jasmine, as well as Thierry Mugler’s Alien EDP. The difference is that this dries down to a soft, musky creaminess, and the other 2 don’t.
Pretty nice (if you tend to enjoy vanillic fruity-florals), and available for good prices in discount stores, but not particularly distinctive or unique.
I think in real life, both the Radiance bottles look tacky and over-the-top though they look pretty in the advertising; and the Cosmic Radiance box is the cheapest-looking and most slap-dash of her entire collection. But who knows? I used to loathe the Fantasy bottles, and now they actually look kinda kitschy and cute to me. Maybe I’ll “get it” one day.

I had high expectations on this one, but I’m rather disappointed…
I mainly get litchi & pear & tuberose and it doesn’t last on me at all… It’s practically gone before I can even say: “Cosmic Radiance”
    I will use t
