Description
Yves Rocher presents their new fragrance Comme Une Evidence L’Eau in spring 2011, along with the recently announced refreshing edition for men Comme Une Evidence Green.
Just like the edition for men, women’s version Comme Une Evidence L’Eau announces luminous and fresh aromas of the new composition. Its brilliant opening is composed of fresh drops of citruses, refreshed with feminine jasmine flowers in a heart, on a base of patchouli. The new fragrance is created by perfumer Ursula Wandel, which includes fresh, shiny, luminous, delicate and feminine nuances, ideal for the upcoming spring and summer.
The fragrance can be expected on the market in April 2011, as 75 ml.

Sunshine on a variety of dewy spring flowers. Very gentle, soft, harmonious.
It is fresh but not exactly citrusy on me (can’t compare to the original Evidence here), neither is jasmine the only flower although I can definitely detect it. Very versatile for occasions and wearers, sillage and durability are good on me too. Very non-synthetic natural vibe.
A bouquet of fresh floral loveliness in spring, it smells beautiful, harmless and ‘kind’.
ig.ign – :
This is a bit generic scent, i feel that notes listed here are not all whats in it. Citruses i nearly dony get, some jasmine, maybe some peony or rose i detect. It has a YR dna. Forgettable.
WEXEER – :
Light, fresh, feminine, a bit soapy, but not screechy. Lighter and easier to wear than the original Comme Une Evidence, which can be a bit overwhelming at times. I see the comparison to D&G Light Blue, which I can understand, but at least on my skin, this one is much sweeter than Light Blue. In warm weather it sometimes reminds me of Cerutti 1881, but I can’t really put my finger on what notes in either one of them that is reminiscent. Weird.
A pretty fragrance, it can suit so many different kind of women and both at the office as well as to a wedding – both as bride or guest. In my opinion it has the same quality and feel to it, such as many of the Marc Jacobs fragrances, such as Daisy (and its thousands of flankers).
It has a sweet undertone which I really can’t pinpoint, but which is the same as in Body Shop White Musk Libertine, it might be musk?
Timeless, feminine, floral, sweet. Pretty bottle. Projection is discrete but still present, but it is not a massive powerhouse. Lasting power is okay – not amazing, but not bad either.
All in all and at the price I highly recommend it 🙂
Deutscher2011 – :
A very soapy and fresh floral. Smells citrusy in the container, but is sour on me. Not into it 🙁
KOKENAKI – :
I have a deodorant with this and it smells so good 🙂 light, sweet, no citrusy but still light. best for being deodorant for me. like a perfume it would be too havy
EziKey – :
Very fresh and citrusy, good for work or a night out.
ultimo5 – :
I never detected the citrus notes, but I smell rose.
This is a sweet, pink and powdery perfume, but also light and breezy with lasting power.
If you like Coco Mademoiselle eau de toilete, then you’ve just found out a much less pricey version of Chanel’s creation here. A little more soapy though.
It really deserves a try!

I own the perfume version of this one:comme une evidence l’eau de parfum by yves rocher which is not in fragrantica yet,it’s bottle is almost the same as this one but it’s 50 mil and I believe is the best flanker of evidences
Notes:citruses,bergamot,petitgrain,rose,jasmine,patchouli
There are common notes so there is obvious similarities between this one and mine(perfume),,both of them are delicately sweet and floral.citrus notes provide their fresh vibe, there is just a hint of patchouli in dry down, green and a bit bitter in this soft sweet floral potion
I believe these l’eau flankers are fresher, lighter and younger than the original evidence, more lovely, versatile and wearable
differances between the version you see here and my lovely perfume:a lovely soft and sweet rose is dominant in perfume,so if you are a rose lover go for the perfume version,it’s a lovely light mixture of rose and jasmine with bergamot in the opening and patch in dry down, soft, sweet and feminine with a faint bitter undertone,a bit green,a bit fresh,a bit musky, completely young but mature, office friendly and inoffensive, not very special and complex but easy to like,it can make a nice everyday fragrance fir springs and summers, and it’s really cheap
The other differance is about staying power, while this one is almost a skin scent which stays on me less than 3 hours, the perfume version has moderate longevity and sillage(it stays on me at least 5-6 hours)
BAAL – :
I was using this perfume last spring and I can’t say that I was too in love with it. Yes, it’s quite pleasant and universal for every-day wear, good for office. But it has not become my favorite just because I prefer more complex and heavier scents. This one is too light for me.
I also think that the Comme Une Evidence L’eau is more for young ladies than mature women, it has some freshness, sweetness and flowery at the same time. I used with pleasure but without enthusiasm, but in general, I was glad to try something from Yves Rocher perfumes since I personally have not had anything from this brand. I will continue trying something else, may be the original one will be more suitable for me.
But this version is not bad at all, it’s definitely very feminine and smells quite natural.
fredi – :
really good citrusy perfume. Actually I don’t like citrusy perfume but this is very soft with jasmine. sweet and fresh. Much better than the orginal. great choice for sipring/summer. Good longevity!
Goria4ka – :
This is a pleasant fragrance. The citrus top notes are noticeable to intense, likewise with the Jasmine. The patchouli is great at unifying and grounding those two notes. It’s a skin scent for me, almost no sillage though longevity seems to be doing ok with liberal spraying four hours later.
I prefer the original version and I really don’t understand all the flankers on this. I’d rather they brought back Ispahan, Rose Absolue and Shafali instead of continuing to waste their resources with tinkering around on good formulas.

I wasn’t over the moon about the fragrance as I am not a huge patchouli lover. The bottle, nevertheless, was a gift, so I decided to give it a try before finding it a new home.
And to my huge surprise, I loved it right from the initial spray. The fact that this fragrance has been composed with only 3 notes works to its benefit; Comme Une Evidence L’eau is not a screaming floral, mish-mash sort of juice made of dozen of floral notes. It is a simple jasmine mixed with citrus notes (with an overall feel similar to Gucci Flora).
The patchouli note seems to give it a lovely finishing touch; slightly bittery and earthy, yet quite appealing during fall and winter weather.
I am gobsmacked as by looking at notes, I didn’t even expect to like it, yet I fell in love.
They say don’t judge the book by its cover and in this particular case, I can’t agree more.
I am not sure as to why there are so many comments regarding its lasting power.
L’eau clings nicely to my skin and is very much noticeable for a good 5-6 hours.
When sprayed on my cashmere pashminas, I can easily detect it for a week or so.
My winner for fall and winter days, work or casual, cinema or party, simply lovely.
DEMON4 – :
I like it a lot. It’s fresh, flowery, with delicate patchouly background. This fragrance is truly pale-pink. Young but mature in the same time. Reminds me a little bit of NR for her edp. The bottle is lovely in my opinion. This smell is sophisticated and it smells expensive despite its low price. It lasts for a long time although it’s only edt version.
serga51 – :
This is one of my favorite fragrances. I think it’s got a grown-up quality to it, but at the same time it’s fresh and pretty. I always feel lovely when I wear it, and I bought the purse size so I didn’t have to go without it during a long day.
Smelling it makes me feel happy.
panandrei – :
I just tried this out on paper and I did not really smell the top citrus notes as stated. Instead, the beginning was just all alcohol. Once it settles, however, it becomes a really nice floral scent that reminds me so much of Estee Lauder Pleasures. It’s very feminine and lovely. Some says it’s light, but I find it strong enough; making its wearable all year round. I may be getting one for my sister who adores the Pleasures because I am curious to see if she’d notice a difference.
ALLEXXE – :
At first it smelled lemony and the patchouli was evident. Then I did smell a little jasmine but the fragrance faded away so quickly. Wow, it shouldn’t even be called an “eau de toilette” because it’s too light. I agree with you all.
Alfons – :
It’s just a lighter , with missing notes , version of the original ” Comme une Évidence ” . As simple as that !
Way too light for me . I already like better the EDP rather than the EDT for the same reason , so … :-/
I don’t want to be rude , but to me , this one is pointless … We already have the EDT , EDP , the parfum , the deodorant , now the ” Eau ” ! Please create something new ! That’s enough !!!
I can’t vote “dislike” , because it smells good still , but enough of ” Comme une Évidence ” !
CaskCogelals – :
The VERY first Comme Une Evidence was great! The others after were a disappointment. This one (according to the scent strip) reminds me of that one. I will see once I test the liquid version.
АСАДОВ – :
Desided to give this another try . Had only tryed the original before .
starts off whit a burst off citrus , quite sharp . and after just a few minuts the Jasmin takes ower , sharp . whit flowers , jasmin all the way , to bad i cant wear jasmin because off the cemestry off my skin , and the fact that it makes my head hurts.
the patcholie are very nice in the ending goes well when its smothening out the jasmin , at this stage its more werable for me . but this is a swapper for me .
last about averige on my skin
Priolohieboob – :
A very marginal difference between this one and the original, just a touch of citrus and slightly lighter. A pleasant fragrance of its type, nothing to get excited about.
bozel – :
yves rocher says its a new version, but it smells exactly like the old evidence edt! they did it before, they will do it again: new bottle, calling it new version, same fragrance. evidence is a great one, no doubt, but i know yves rocher too well to believe this marketing-stategie. just compare the evidence edt with the new L`eau. no difference.
altaWista – :
Citrusy version of the original one, and lighter too. When you spray it on your wrist, citrus comes first, then it appears the lighter Evidence smelling, but I don’t like this version, because I don’t find it unique at all. It is similar to many other citrusy summer scent like DG Light blue, and it has no lasting power on me.
I won’t buy it, it is a forgettable scent, sorry Yves Rocher.
Utkanos – :
is this one more similar to the original formula Comme une Evidence? I know you guys are saying it smells nicer than the new formula. I remember how beautiful the original one smelled.. not as sharp but breezy and mystical.
steff – :
Oh yes much better then the original, witch i dont like at all. For some reason it smells like flowers and ashtrays on me,and thats nasty.
But Léau is fresh and softly sweet, the flowers is the same as in the original, but fresher and on me it stays quite well.
This is a perfect summerscent that id actually want to buy!
wilhhman – :
I just got this perfume today, and I must say it´s better than the original. Perfect for summer, so lightfull and fresh. The only bad thing to say, is that it doesn´t stay on my skin so long.
