It’s notes look so intriguing(I love them all except patchouli),I like it’s bottle and it’s in a sale in a local perfume website but there’s no way to sample it
I wish there was more reviews for it to help deciding

Velvet Heart! Such a unique name for a fragrance and even though I’m not sure if it’s hearty, I can say that it smells velvety.
At the first sniff, all I can get is a strong powdery scent. I almost thought I detected violet, which doesn’t exist here in the notes. soon amber appears and gives it a warm satin character. It’s even somehow woody with the same impression that I get from sensuous, yet they are different of course.
I’ve never had a chance to smell any perfume from jardin de france before and I’m not familiar with other perfumes of the house. Coeur de velours definitely has main characteristics of french perfume; It’s classy and feminine in an exaggerated way. By that, I don’t mean it’s too much to take or too intense, I just mean it’s exaggerating specific notes, namely here powdery notes.
