Nothing natural about that coconut note! Very chemical, candy-like but without the sweetness….it’s a fail for me unfortunately…

I blind bought this one and I hoped to be a milky beachy coconut, the everyday summer scent. But it’s too chemical and not milky or sweet at all. I wouldn’t mind woody and adult kind of coconut fragrance either, but this one is way to artificial for me.

Oh this is lovely and delicious! Smells like buttery coconut! Not sweet coconut but just simple right out of the shell pure coconut! I love it and I blend it with Demeter Black Ginger!

Let me first say that my sense of smell is starting to come back after having nearly lost it last year and some scents are still a bit different then they had been. Having said that on me Dememter Coconut smells like melted butter! When I sprayed it on I immediately blamed my nose and the lost sense of smell.
I decided ask my dad what he smelled and held out my wrist — he responded the beach. I told him I smelled melted butter like if you were to make an egg, to which he agreed. I’m now completely confused bc for me butter and coconut do not smell the same, sure coconut can be a bit buttery as n creamy but what I smell on me is similar to margarine. The next week I asked my sister, who echoed my father.
The only thing I can imagine is that it possibly is more of a fresh coco-butter scent then a vanilla gourmand scent and that I can definitely appreciate!! I can’t wait until my sense of smell is returned and I can fully appreciate it.

It smells like dessicated coconut mostly, I want it to be more milky. But its sweet and fresh in the opening and then dries down to a musky coconut – I would prefer no musk but it still the best ‘singular notes’ coconut perfume I’ve tried so far – but I’ve not tried many at all.

Lovely coconut, a little woody, not too sweet. Not dried sweetened baking coconut but fresh coconut. Has a nice woody rich finish. Lasts well, great for summer or for layering.
