I didn’t like the perfume at first because I’m used to more girly scents, but as I used it more, I fell in love with it! I’d say this perfume is the definition of elegance! It started off kind of strong, but became magical after a short while. Just give any perfume a chance, and it can surprise you.
I have got compliments while wearing this 🙂
You only need like 2 sprays and it’ll last for a long time. I stopped using it just because I love it so much and want to save it for special occasions. Better to invest in real perfume like this instead of eau de parfum that will be done in no time.

Then I’m a weirdo right with you, because I find this boring and ordinary.
It’s NICE, nothing wrong with it– very easy to wear. Citrus, white flowers, and patchouli. It’s for someone who wants a signature scent, but doesn’t LOVE to wear perfume. I love to wear perfume, and variety is the spice of life. I love the No.5s and 19s.
I would gladly take a bottle of this as a gift. It’s people pleasing, good (not great) sillage/potency (not cloying or irritating) and VERY NICE… it’s just meh though IMO. I agree it’s classy and young/fresh– for the classy younger crowd.
Someday I want to try Coco and Coco Noir tho. 😉

Am I weird for not liking this? This scent by far is my least favorite Chanel scent of the lot. It even goes so far as to putting me off from liking perfume with patchouli in it. Such a shame.
It just screams citrus and coldness to me. Sharp and pungent. I can’t envision a classy girl with savoir faire oozing from her wearing this.

The high-pitched fruity/syrupy top notes of Coco Mademoiselle can take a hike, imo. The dry down is where it’s at with this one. I kept smelling the dry down on women in passing and wanting to lean in for a closer sniff – it’s dry, musky (as in clean, verging on lightly soapy) and elegant. It’s so different from the opening. THIS is what makes Coco Mademoiselle so addictive. The body cream is perfection, btw.

Gosh I love this one! It’s worth the price and it’s long lasting too.
I will purchase another bottle soon!
This is my signature for now.

I have worn Chanel Coco for years and years and Coco Noir since it debuted. I love both, but gravitate towards Noir more. I have smelled Coco Mad. on lots and lots of ladies, and have always appreciated it. I try to never classify scents as male or female..that drives me nuts and actually makes me mad :), but in the back of my mind I stupidly, against my own advice kind of marked this a “ladies” scent.
I got a 1.7 oz bottle recently, and I really, really like this. On a guy, it is surprisingly good. The patchouli is softened by the sparkling citrus and the florals are turned down.
Longevity is outstanding!!! 1-2 sprays last almost an entire day! How is this possible with a current, IFRA regulated scent? 10+ sprays of Mugler Angel, and it is gone!!! in 1-2 hours. Not joking!
Coco Mad. longevity and sillage are insanely impressive; So, this is actual the bargain of the century, considering how long it lasts.
Guys, try this one. Pretty great! And of course this smells delicious on the fairer sex as well 🙂

It is so popular nowadays that it puts me off as every third woman on the streets smells like this. I tried it though, even bought it but happy that I managed to sell it on eBay. I can’t describe the scent. Powdery? Yes. Flowery? Yes. Musky? A bit. Sweet? Semi-sweet. Seductive? Noooooooo. Elegant? Yes. I would see a classy lady wear this.

I don’t like this. As soon as I put it on I recognised it as something I’ve smelled many times before, often, on many women. It’s a pretty generic “posh basic” perfume scent, and to me it smells overwhelmingly, cloyingly sweet. It’s not for me. I can’t really make out any notes, maybe kts my unrefined, newbie nose, except for patchouli, miscellaneous flowers and maybe some very very sweet sugary orange all mixed together into one sickly sweet mess that slaps you in the face. Boring and way too sweet for me.

Ajmal raindrops is a copy of this, but it doesn’t last as long, but it’s super cheap.

I love this scent in all its incarnations. Intense, EDP, EDT (even though it doesn’t last).. if they release yet another flanker I will be all over it.. LVEB was my signature for awhile but now I am even more “basic” and have been wearing Coco Mad so much lately 😉 I used to really not be a fan and wasn’t “wow”ed by this fragrance; I actually preferred Intense.. but one day it all clicked why this is so popular and the rest is history!
I wore it exclusively on a recent vacation and have happy memories associated with this fragrance so of course that places it even more firmly among my favorites.. I felt sophisticated and classy every time I sprayed it on even though I was wearing hiking clothes, no makeup, most of the time. Yes, I am one of “those” who I see other reviewers complaining about ruining the integrity of the luxe Chanel name–someone who doesn’t just wear this fragrance “out” with a cocktail dress and immaculate hair. Sorry, not sorry!
Everyone knows what this one smells like. For me, it’s mostly the juicy orange + sweet rose combo with patchouli in the background.. Intense has the patchouli in the spotlight with less sweetness and a bit more dry, definitely more of a night time fragrance but of course I’ve been known to wear it anywhere, anytime, because I’m a fangirl! But sometimes I’m not in the mood for the mature sexiness of Intense and reach for this, good ol’ classic Coco Mad.
It’s actually not a terribly popular fragrance in my area, which is nice in that I can feel a *little* unique wearing it. Everyone around here wears LVEB, which is great, I still have a lot of love for that scent so I don’t mind smelling it everywhere.

Oh, Coco Mademoiselle, you are my #1 scent tragedy. An unrequited fragrance love, if you will. I have tried so many times to make you work on my skin, to will my nose to appreciate the intensive patchouli, but alas… So close to perfection, so close to being my signature soul mate. Perhaps it was not meant to be…or perhaps a reformulation will come that will be the answer to my prayers. I will dream of it and love you from afar!

Yegads, I just don’t get all the positive reviews, but I guess my tastes are just super different. I generally adore anything strongly citrus, but I keep trying this and… gack. It’s just so, so sweet, incredibly cloying to my nose, and it lasts forever- unfortunately for me, bc i keep trying to wash it off, can’t even stand to let it get to that furthest-out dry-down phase where the sweet-bomb has finally withered away and some kind of vague muskiness would be tolerable. I just don’t understand it, some of my very favorite perfumes are from Chanel- but here I can’t find that famous Chanel “DNA” that I like so much in ALlure, N. 5, Cristalle, 19… where is it? Is something wrong with my nose, that I’m so overcome by the screechy-sweet I can’t detect anything else?

Classy, and beautiful. I always end up not wearing because I smell it on others. I will say that it is a great fragrance as a signature scent, it has presence and is sophisticated, it comes with an air of class, but it isn’t something I would reach for if I wanted my partner to want to sniff me/a romantic setting. Lots of compliments from other females.

I walked past this perfume so many times not giving it the slightest attention, to this day, I still regret having done so because I am so in love with it, I feel like I have missed out on time, time where I could have enjoyed its company whenever I wear it for special occasions. Coco mademoiselle, wow, such a lovely perfume. The compliments, the amount of times I get stopped, so so many men have expressed their deepest admirations for it to me when I wear it. Sometimes, just because, I wear it to work, and it hasn’t been more than 5 times to tell you the truth, and I have this group of men I usually pass by in the morning while walking to my building that has now called me “Mademoiselle Coco” lol makes me smile and proud that I did invest in such a beauty. I love it, I get scared at times that they might discontinue it but then again Chanel doesn’t really do much discontinuations so I look forward to ALWAYS have this beauty in my collection.

CM is another well done fragrance from Chanel and it will probably always sell very well . It is cheerful, somewhat sweet (EDP version ) and seamlessly blends citrus and florals . It would be hard not to like this one, and I personally find the intense version even prettier with more defined notes and improved sillage .
It is hard to go wrong with Chanel , and it seems they take their quality control very seriously .
I think this one can be worn by women of all ages, especially if they are not drawn to Allure EDP or COCO EDP , which are stunning . I find the EDP formulas to be richer and more defined .

I still remember the first time I smelled this ….several years ago.
I was working at a dealership and a customer walked in wearing this, I almost ran after her to ask what she was wearing.
In my opinion, this is an amazing scent.
I love smelling this, it absolutely elevates the woman wearing it.

Usually i like oriental floral scent group but excepted for this one
Too much citrus and patchouli scent in my nose..
And it’s bothering me when using this perfume..
I am sorry that i have to say coco mademoiselle like air freshener for me..

I am not a great fan of this one. I’m in my early 20’s and for me this is something I could only picture myself wearing when I’m much older, maybe. This smells very stern to me, and while it is sophisticated I prefer Miss Dior’s youthful take on this for now, or even the EDT version of Coco Mademoiselle. If I could rename Coco Mademoiselle EDP, it’d become Coco Madame.

❤️I’m in love with Coco Mademoiselle and i’ll forever love it❤️…so beautiful!
I won’t talk about the notes or how it smells or about the longevity and the sillage, everybody knows all that by now…i’ll talk about how this perfume makes me feel…
It makes me feel so happy and very special, confident, positive, fantastic, elegant, sexy… it always gives me good vibes…
    …it’s perfect!!! ❤️

The only rose fragrance I love! Maybe because it’s an oriental floral, and the rose is toned down with the citruses. idk but I fell in love with it when my mom owned it and I would always sneak a few sprays on me before I went to high school. Now I own it as an adult and it brings back memories.

I know everyone and their mother has done a review for this perfume, but I just have to quickly agree with the majority of reviewers and say that this perfume is wonderful! It’s very classy without feeling incredibly fancy, but it certainly feels expensive, so I try to save my bottle! I disagree with people who say it’s a bit “masculine”; the rose notes are very clear on my skin. However, I would say that this scent screams “professional” to me for some reason. It’s an incredibly complicated scent though, so it’s hard for me to quite draw up the “Mademoiselle woman” if you will. Maybe that’s a good thing. We’re all multifaceted, so if this scent calls to you, definitely test it out! Considering the majority of reviews on here, you won’t be disappointed!

I know this have a cult following but I suppose smells are perceived differently by everyone. I was in a conference last month and one of the ladies sitting in front of me was wearing it, I think smells cheap and too sweet. I’m sorry if I offend anybody here but it is how I feel about Coco Mademoiselle.

I have never been a fan of Coco Chanel, it always seemed to me a perfume for women much older than me. I approached the Mademoiselle a few times until love finally blossomed. I do not know if it’s a matter of age or femininity. Perfumes are quite heavy, for everyday prefers fruity or strongly floral. Certainly, these are perfumes for a special occasion, eg a date with a loved one, a woman wearing them feeling more confident.

  26. :

I don’t understand why it called mademoiselle. It’s too masculine. Like a citrus masculine scent.

  27. :

    5 out of 5

On me it’s the most boring perfume ever, like a cheap lemony scent. Like your rose-loving, cigarette-smoking great-grandma bathed in lemon juice. I wouldn’t even like it for free. Really disappointed 🙁

I’ll never forget walking into a BBQ restaurant to order food and the man at the desk told me how I smelled “pretty”. Had another man come up and ask me what I was wearing so he could buy it for his girlfriend. I was wearing Mademoiselle both times. In the sweltering heat of the southern Midwestern United States.
Due to it’s price, I don’t get it out often. I love the dry down with those woodsy, warm notes. Suppose it must compliment my body chemistry even in the summer because that’s when I received those compliments!
Surprising, considering that I named this one of my signature winter/fall frags. And I’m not a big fan of patchouli.
Just goes to show this one is WORTH spending the money on. It is strong, the smell STICKS. It’s a smell of a powerful, elegant, classy woman! Believe me, people notice! 🙂

First, I’d like to just laugh at how I tried to write a review for this on my laptop but the amount of content on this page caused Google Chrome to crash. I think it’s safe to say that a lot of people love, like or hate this and don’t mind saying so. Now I’m going to contribute to the Chrome crashing by writing my own review.
The EDP was actually my second one to test from both options. I prefer the EDT & Grand Extrait but this definitely has its charm on its sleeve. For the current formulation, its perhaps a bit synthetic. The rose & patchouli stand out. The EDT is light and friendly, this is more bold and romantic. EDT is office wear, EDP is date night, Grand Extrait is wedding day, night and honeymoon (it lasts days)

What can I say….I love it. The most elegant fragrance out there, so worth every penny! Love, Love, Love. Beautiful. This says I’m elegant and sophisticated, but behind closed doors watch out!
    Sillage 10/10
    Longevity 10/10

I used to love this perfume. It sat well on my skin and seemed to capture the essence of my inner being. I ran out and stopped wearing perfume for a while. When I bought my next bottle I keep wondering when I had changed….I didn’t find it fitting me at all. It lacked the little something that made it stand out, the element that drew people in closer….I thought the bottle had gone bad so I bought another one, then I tried the EDP thinking perhaps I was misremembering which one sat on my skin best….
Then I read that the formulation had changed. The knowledge brought relief (it wasn’t me) tinged with sadness. I miss it!

When I and my husband waited for our flight, we tried some Chanel perfumes. For me, almost all of them smell too old and heavy for me, until we tried coco mademoiselle. Maybe because of citrus notes make this perfume smell not only oriental flora, but also citrusy. My husband told me he likes this scent, so I bought it. When i used it, I like it, the scent not too old, but mature enough. It feels like younger version of Chanel coco. It’s very long lasting, but I don’t use it everyday, because I think the smell too heavy for casual use.

I’m probably the only one on this planet who hates this perfume with passion. To me, it is both very masculine and sweet at the same time, which are a big no-no in my book. Also, it does remind me of old perfumes, but with modern spirit -which explains why so many young people wear it.
I do not believe there is anything feminine about it, and I hate people wearing it to the office or school as it is too strong and lasts forever.
I’m a huge fan of Coco, Chanel No 5, Chanel No. 19, and Gabriel to a certain degree, but never this one.

  36. :

It seems like everybody and their mother loves Coco Mademoiselle. People who are into sweet girly perfumes love it, people who like deep sexy perfumes love it, even people who are more into unusual and not typically feminine scents love it! I heard somewhere that you’re either a no. 5 girl or a Coco Mademoiselle girl. Sadly, I am neither. It’s all good and chic and long lasting…etc, etc. Nearly identical to the EDT, except it is less sharp and sweeter. I have nothing to say that hasn’t been said already.
I don’t know why but there’s always an element in Chanel perfumes that I can appreciate, but never fully enjoy. I hope one day I’ll find a Chanel I truly love. Will edit if it grows on me *fingers crossed

I wore the edt years ago when it was new, but I left it behind because my (now ex-) boyfriend didn’t like it. (He hated fresh florals in general.) I think that the best perfumes are difficult to describe, that they smell like a memory that notes can’t capture. Coco Mlle is a little fresh, a little powdery, a little floral and a little vanillary. Mostly it’s classy and delicate, timeless and pretty in a soft-spoken way. It feels more like putting on my first pearl necklace, than the recollection of bad decisions (Lolita Lempicka). Classic, still me.

    (16 year old male)
Holy hell! I love this scent so much!
Something about this scent just makes me happy. Whenever I get a whiff of this perfume, I get sent to a place where I am with a person that I love. This scent is intoxicating. It would be hard to find a man that does not like this perfume.
To me, it smells like flowers lightly dipped in sweet, fruity oils.

I am so late on trying this fragrance it’s been out for years and is very popular but for some reason I was never interested in trying it. It wasn’t until I realized Parfum Initial was d/c’d that I wanted to find a patchouli like scent that wasn’t a dupe of PI but had that note and made me just as happy as Initial does. I finally found it with Coco Mad so I’m really happy! This is a lovely scent that ticks many of the boxes of what I was looking for in a perfume.
I love orange notes, rose, white florals, vetiver, and musk. I also like scents that are very strong, last, and have good sillage. This does all of that beautifully I think actually this is a wonderful evening scent for me even in warm weather I have found. So I haven’t had to constrain myself due to season with this.
I get that this is a mass marketed scent which, I’m usually not fond of but this perfume smells so good so I can see how it became so popular. Funny where I am I don’t smell it on everyone but even so I wouldn’t care. Scent to me is about how it makes me feel not what everyone else is wearing. So I love this and will rock it 🙂 I really want to try the intense version now. Love!

On my quest to try Coco Mademoiselle and several other frags, I was fortunate enough to visit a local Macy’s at the right time (a slow, non-holiday Sunday afternoon) and catch a lovely and outgoing perfume salesperson. She and I spent over an hour talking and touring the Chanel, Mugler, D&G, CK, Burberry, Michael Kors, and other brands’ frags.
I didn’t try Coco Mad at the store, but the lady was a true gem and decanted three (3!) samples for me to take home. One was Coco Mad EDP, which I tried last night and this morning. After it gets past the opening notes, this settles into a lovely warm and luxurious scent on me. I just absolutely love it. It’s fresh, but warmly complex with the florals, patch, vanillin, and musk notes playing well with my chemistry. Six or seven hours later and I can still detect the fragrance, though it’s more of a skin scent by now.
It makes me feel like I’m enveloped in an expensive cashmere-soft sweater. Like I want to drink cocoa and have a scone while reading a novel on a rainy day. I can feel a bit of adventurousness in it, too, and can see myself wearing this to all sorts of outings. And to work. I need to buy this. Possibly also the Intense…
@CIEL- Thank you for recommending the EDP Intense version for people who don’t especially like the opening of Coco Mad EDP. I’ll try that, as well.

My signature until the Intense arrived. Still beautiful but If you love this scent and don’t particularly like the screechy citrus opening and want more lasting power and slightly sexier, try her new sister.

Had it for few years, was never really a love for me, was more something fresh & classy to wear from time to time until I got bored of it, I don’t see myself returning to Coco Mademoiselle, neither getting her intense sister.

Long but nice story with this beautiful fragrance 🙂 I used to know a person who loved this perfume. The thing was that she usually owersprayed (like 5- 6 times before she went out)..a lot of people were complaining about her, the room was always “full of her” and many women got headache…I never got headache , but to be honest, I didn´t like it…even my mother said : it´s like a cheap spray for toilette…
But THEN ,after some years, something strange happened.
My boyfriend knows I am addicted to perfumes…he worked in Provence for some weeks and he brought me this from France as a present (even though he used to tell me : I will never give you any perfume, I love your natural smell !!!:))
I was very surprised, cause I remembered this perfume as a very strong one and he always loved soft ones on me…so I asked : did you smell it before you bought it? or you bought it just because of a nice bottle ? 🙂
And he said that ofcousre he smelled it…that it reminded him of me and that he considers it very sophisticated mature but still “mademoiselle” fragrance even great for summer and spring days!!! very nice floral and a bit spicy piece…
I was so suprised, so I gave one spritz on me and told him that maybe he should have waited…I knew it would change after 20 minutes on my skin…and really after 15 minutes it changed, but he still liked it…after one hour he adored it…and then I realised…I loved it too! It´s all about amount…with this perfume you cannot overspray yourself…just use it gently…and then your skin will play with it…only those women who allow also the skin to speak, will have an original cloud behind them 🙂 cause when you overspray, it always smells the same and can be annoying…but when it´s 2 sprays, it´s exactly the right amount to feel it, but to feel also your skin…I use also one nice chypre cream before I spray the perfume..that melange fits perfectly together 🙂
Enjoy this luxurious fragrance…:) with a good amount:)

A beautiful rosy musky scent that smells expensive! I have the Allure Eau de Parfum and to me, Coco Mademoiselle is like the sexy, confident big sister as the Allure is the more demure, sophisticated little sister. Coco Mademoiselle is a gorgeous scent to wear. On me, the scent gives off the patchouli note mixed beautifully with the floral notes with a hint of the vanilla and orange that enhances the floral scent. I’m sure this could be worn during the day during the cooler months but I reserve this for special occasions like I do with my Chanel bag. If deciding which Chanel fragrance to chose from as your first, I would recomment trying out this one.

I have smelled this on other people and it smells very lovely, but on me it smells like one of those old school, gel cone-shaped air fresheners that my grandmother had on the back of her toilet.

fresh and clean like as a breeze of air after the sauna. innocent. crystal like, unbelievably long lasting incredibly high-quality . beautiful. Well, yes .. in English fragrantica they say – the smell is very … is too worn and every body just tired of it .. but this is how to reject the postulates of beauty – why the Apollo nose is straight – give us a niche snub-nosed .. – and for me, the mamsel is still beautiful, no I did not have it. I like its freshness and good quality. citrus perfumes are soo short playing and mamsel loud and clear. like .. the spellbinding charm of the bourgeoisie

To me, this smells like an early spring day in Paris – youthful but chic, fresh yet classic, blossoms in the air and crisp white wine at dinner. It is also unmistakably Chanel.I won’t go into the individual notes as I don’t believe they are really that distinguishable, and the whole scent is so much more than the sum of its parts.
I have just finished a 100ml bottle of CM EDP that I was given 10 (!) years ago by an ex boyfriend. By keeping it in the box and away from sunshine it has stayed perfect throughout those years. I’m very sad to have finished the bottle as this scent has been the defining scent of my twenties. I’m unsure now whether to repurchase or try something different as I head into my 30s, so strong is the association of this scent with my growing up. That is not to say that this wouldn’t suit older wearers – I do think it is truly an ageless scent.
Yes, it is very popular and therefore ubiquitous, but I think it is for good reason. It stands up extremely well against the sea of vanilla that characterizes modern mass fragrance.
    A modern classic.

This perfume has lost its lustre for me. My fiance gave me a 50ml bottle of this for my birthday in 2015. I loved it at the time, before I was a bit more versed in fragrance. Now I’m into the old classics. Coco Mademoiselle is like EDM music, and the statement ones such as Youth Dew, Shalimar, Opium, Cinnabar and Coco are like classic rock. CM smells so commercial to me. It’s well constructed, and it has amazing longevity. But I only wear it occasionally. Maybe it’s the generous citrus in the formula, maybe it’s my taste. I can’t pinpoint what it is, but it’s just too teeny-bopperish, and conjures up the mall in my head. My fiance also gave me the OG Coco on the birthday after, and that’s what wrecked my temporary CM fling. I apologize to the CM lovers, but the OG Coco, and other vintage classics, are sooooo much better imo.

I’ve clearly been living under a rock and need help! Despite being a perfume fiend and living in a huge city, I had honestly never sniffed this until a few weeks ago. Seriously.
I’d heard of Coco Mad, obviously. But it was always mentioned in a slightly derogatory way (‘Oh, I I used to wear it all the time, but then I discovered REAL perfume’ etc…I’ve obviously been hanging out with hardcore perfumistas for far too long! ). So, not being a big Chanel fan, I overlooked this for years.
Then my aunty turned up for dinner one evening a few weeks back smelling like heaven and I had to know what the hell she was wearing! I got the loveliest fresh, clean aura (the citrus and rose), undercut with a dreamy sweetness (vanilla) and earthy femininity (the patch!). It was utterly delightful…and I went straight out that weekend and bought myself 30mls.
Having worn it regularly for a couple of weeks now, I can safely say this is a strong, strong like and a must have for my wardrobe. It’s just such a fantastic workhorse! A great all-rounder that I’ve worn happily in a range of settings and it’s consistently felt just right.
Ubiquitous, so they say. Common, even. But I couldn’t care less. It’s a new beauty to me and I’ll be wearing this regularly from now on.

For many years (age 20-35), this was the only scent I wore. It was my signature scent. The strong citrus notes carried well on my skin and the scent lasted all day. I never felt the need to wander into the perfume realm. It was a scent that I wore well and didn’t cause migraines. Then I met my current boyfriend and decided to leave a life I once knew behind me that was full of a bad relationship and bad memories. My boyfriend introduced me to new perfumes and I slowly began collecting new fragrances. I don’t wear this scent much anymore and I have a half of a bottle still sitting in my collection but I will wear it once in a blue moon when I want to reminisce about old friends and family times spent with my mom.

Always a winner even if a lot of people wear it. I prefer wearing it in the trans-seasonal or cooler weather – especially living in Australia!

I know I am in the minority..Headache-inducing for me & my boyfriend thinks I stink. I don’t really like patchouli but I tried to give it a chance because of the reviews. A no for me..:(

    This is The Perfume!!!
When I finally bought mine I kept it in my hands like the treasure of my life:D
Wearing Mademoiselle makes you feel complete, like it was the final touch you needed to feel good, like a real WOMAN.. You just feel special. A boss lady. A powerful, independent woman.
One spritz is enough, it stays all day on the skin and on the clothes. Amazing!!
The bottle is beautiful and elegant.
This perfume is not only one from your collection but the one you are probably looking for, if you are a strong, self-conscious lady, who wanna rule the world

I always thought that Chanel fragances were a little dated…at least No. 5, but Coco mademoiselle is soo good…a light, yet sophisticated aroma to wear in all occasions, amazing!!…the Intense version is the same without the citrus notes…not that intense really..

Ups and downs to this lovely fragrance.Really love this perfume, just bought it one week ago from a Douglas retailer, but was so upset to see it doesn’t last on me.(could be my PH ,but LVB Lancome and Alien TM seemed to last 48 hours on me and my clothes) I feel the need to reapply it about 5-6 hours later, and I’m not very happy with that , as I have to carry it around, not to mention I almost get sick right after spraying it on,as I find it very strong. I do think it has a classy scent, I love the notes and how they combine, but I mean I specifically chose it after scanning lists of most long lasting perfumes out there…and now.. Please know I tried EDP on one hand again and the Intense version on the other at a different store, only to find the same thing:applied 9pm, morning 7 am, almost no smell on both hands.. EDP Intense is more powdery to me, I really like the original version. I guess my 100 ml won’t last me as long as I would’ve expected lol

In 2011, when I turned 30 and realised my signature scent Island Kiss by Escada is no longer available and was in the middle of finding a new scent (I considered buying Marry Me by Lanvin), I got a bottle of Coco Mad as a present. I thought problem solved, I have a perfume, it is just I never came to love this one. It is elegant, citrussy, but somehow still reminds me of Marry Me I was testing at that time, only that it has a warmer, bit sweeter feel, which saves it after all. In spite of the many notes the perfume itself does not smell complicated, and I like it the most well after it has dried down. Its biggest benefit is that it lasts for a very long time, so I will keep the leftover in the bottle for nights out. I would not re-buy it, but would keep it if I got it as a present again.
