Mistral Clementine is a simple yet beautiful scent. When I first applied it I thought “sweet orange juice”, but given just a little time it does develope into something more complex while still remaining simple. The oranges are the predominant note in this scent but the orange flower mixed with what almost seems like a few drops of sweet pineapple juice play an important role in this scent. They add a sweet floral accord to this scent that makes it less one dimensional. As time went on I did notice the slightest hint of wood (apparently cedar) and a touch of amber.
I have to say I really was surprised and impressed by the depth of this fragrance while still remaining simple and easy to wear. In my opinion this would be a perfect spring and/or summer scent. Also it is a delightful orange scent that I find very uplifting. If you are framiliar with Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange or The Body Shop Satsuma and you enjoy either of them you will likely enjoy Cementine too.
As far as sillage goes, I would say it hovers between soft and moderate. Unfortunately I did not get to wear this a full day so I will update this review with the longevity on my skin in the very near future. As a side note I will mention Mistral’s customer service is excellent and I feel they offer quality fragrances and other products at reasonable prices.
