A very fresh and beautiful scent. I always feel energised wearing it!

Citrus Verbena Intense is just another L’Occitane perfume that works on me. I received this for my birthday and I really love it! I used it quite heavily before I retired the little amount I have left.
If there’s a thing that’s rather disappointing from this perfume, it’s the sillage and longevity. Sillage is practically non-existent if you don’t use this liberally. Longevity is also rather poor. It’s freshly sour in the first 1 or 2 hours, then it turns into this very faint sweet smell that disappeared very quickly. I even had to jam my nose into the spot a few hours after application to get a very faint whiff of this sweet citrus smell. If you can get over this fact, though, it’s a great smell. Perfect for summer when it’s hot outside, because it gets better with heat somehow.
Overall, I love this, but you’ll need to reapply it quite often to maintain the sillage and longevity. Thankfully, the small bottle is not a hassle to bring along in the bag. Unfortunately, it’s only 20ml inside so you’ll likely to drain it very fast if you keep reapplying it. Solution? Get more bottles when it’s available if you’re really into this. I definitely am thinking of getting myself another.

Smells like something I would clean my kitchen with. No no no.

I really like verbena, but this one did smell like washing up liquid. Washing up liquid that faded to lemon sherbert. Maybe it depends on chemistry, but this wasn’t quite what I wanted of it.

The first couple of times I wore this it reminded me of washing up liquid. I came back to it recently and now love the smell and the long lasting wear. It’s fresh and clean, slightly overpowering on the first spray but clams down quickly

Smells like cleaner, but fades nicely. It is not a sweet smell. Very lemony. I spray it over a rose scent to make it lighter and more airy.
This is a smell that I could take or leave. It’d be cheaper to just go buy some essential oil and dilute it a bit than it would be to buy a bottle of Citrus Verbena.

I had the lotion & shower gel for this once. The top heart opens with a burst of fresh clean lemon softened by the verbana and warm sugary elements. So summery and citrusy in a very fresh and pleasant way.

I gave it to someone else in the family, caused me headaches all the times i used it.
Apart that, i think it is one of the best if you like citrus.

I have to be in a very special mood to enjoy this perfume. It smells very strongly of verbena and lemon, along with freshly mown grass. In other words – it smells like a bathroom re-freshener. But not the cheap stuff – the expensive type a wealthy wife would buy to impress her husbands co-workers. I can wear it on summer days when I just want to smell clean and citrusy, accompanied by the ice tea in my bag, but the stuff have been starting to run out… since my mom has started to use it to make the bathroom smell great. Heh. Guess she felt the same thing about this scent as I did. My cat hate it though, which is kind of to expect, since this is a natural repellent to them.
It lastet a long time on my skin in my opinion, but I don’t demand very potent stuff either, so I guess it’s all just a matter of taste.

This smells great on greasy skinned people like me who tend to smell like the sun on a hot day. It totally counteracts it. Great on kids too the dry down is like lemon candy.

Delicious and very fresh but downside is it doesn’t last at all. Shame really. It great if you don’t mind carrying a bottle around with you and re applying every hour or so.

This was my signature scent for Summer 2008. Nothing says summer quite like a good citrus scent. This was a pleasant lemon citrus scent with just a touch of green herbs, and was 100% linear. Citrus Verbena Intense was like a true, tart burst of juice from a fresh-squeezed lemon. Hold the sugar, hold the honey. There is not even a hint of sweetness or sugar in this fragrance, and it is definitely unisex.
The only drawback was that the fragrance was very short-lived on my skin. On the other hand, the scent was so mild and pleasant, I could reapply every few hours and not worry that my scent was too overpowering or offensive to anyone.
