Description
The two most popular men’s fragrances by Azzaro, Azzaro Pour Homme from 1978 and Azzaro Chrome from 1996, are reinterpreted in yearly summer limited editions in 2016, announced as new solar fragrances that celebrate life. Azzaro Pour Homme and Azzaro Chrome 2016 editions include new raw ingredients, namely cedar, providing new energy to the classic compositions. Altas cedar, which comes from the eponymous Moroccan mountain, adds vibrant and opulent notes to Azzaro Pour Homme edition, while Azzaro Chrome contains cedar from Virginia with its dry, woody character.
Chrome Limited Edition 2016 evokes the Mediterranean with its radiant and fresh citrusy – woody – spicy character signed by perfumer Dorothée Piot of Robertet. “The sun is always shining at Azzaro. In 2016, Chrome celebrates light and travel…for a man in search of escapism and well-being.”
• Violet leaf opens the composition with a burst of freshness;
• Warm, spicy nutmeg brightens the aquatic heart;
• Dry and powerful cedar magnifies the intense base.
The signature sky blue bottle gives way to a more electric energy-filled blue, while the holographic box evokes metallic highlights. Available as a 100 ml Eau de Toilette. The nose behind this fragrance is Dorothee Piot.

Rare and beautiful scent. Got a bottle of this from eBay and for a really great price! Smells like Carolina Herrera 212 and Dolce and Gabbana Pour Homme had a baby but on the oceanic aquatic side. Excellent all around! Last long and performs great!

This is already a rare fragrance that was just released last year. This fragrance incorporates nutmeg very nicely with violet that delves into the aquatic realm of things. I’m one of the very few lucky ones that own this!

I stumbled upon this at Ross, and I’m very glad I blind bought it.
Chrome Limited Edition 2016 is IMO far more woody than it is aquatic; “fresh woody” perhaps? In any case, the cedar note comes through loud and clear, giving it more of a modern take on the original Chrome. This fragrance is lively, not at all synthetic, and performs very well. It’s a highly enjoyable “fresh, clean” fragrance that does not succumb to all of the cliches usually associated with those terms.
Because of this, I’d recommend it, maybe even ahead of the Legend and United flankers. It has enough of its own character to not be redundant in most collections. It is too bad it’s only a limited edition, but I’m sure thankful I was lucky enough to find it.

This stuff smells like the original chrome but more potent.
I don’t know how they did it but this juice is potent!! The musky base is there. I can definitly smell cedar at the base, and violet at the top.
I get 10-12 hours of longevity, 6-8 hours of projection.
Get yourself a botlle before it’s discontinued.
