amik a chili-paprika hőségével házasodnak, hozzáadódik a fekete ribizli fanyar gyümölcsössége,
füstölők, kardamom, fahéj és szegfűszeg. A karamell néha felbukkanó örvénye kiegészítő édességnek számít mindvégig
    ebben a gourmand őrületben.

This smells like they were trying to do too much with too many notes. In the end it is just a dusty very smoky chocolate. This may sound very appealing, and to those with a more savory palette you could appreciate this scent, because it’s not as sweet as the notes list makes it out to be. There’s almost a leathery quality it’s definitely animalic. Very strong/long lasting. I like my chocolate frags sweet and this just wasn’t giving me an inch.
Very high quality stuff but not something I want to smell like so I’ll pass.

Oh, so much like Vegemite with cloves. This is a challenging one but worth the sniff.
For me the tolu balsam, castoreum, and honey dominate this thing, with a little chocolate thrown in. The overall scent impression is very in line with the brand’s steampunk image: dark, lived-in, vintage, and intelligent.

Okay, this is a difficult one. I was gifted a sample of this very peculiar perfume and, amidst six other samples, I could smell this already when opening the box. This is a strong perfume, with big sillage, and lasts long.
The opening notes are a very realistic dark chocolate, pretty strong cloves, and a mix of spices and something resiny (I have still little experience with balsams so I can’t really discern these notes).
Then it gets sweeter, I get some raisins and a very natural vanilla.
Unfortunately I’m not in love with this one, I think because of the cloves, they are pretty strong and kind of nauseate me a bit. It gets better in the drydown though, quite sweeter.
Still, the quality is very apparent here, and I’m sure people who love cloves will find this lovely! (I can see the comparison about the kitchen made by another reviewer, the spices are almost foody.)
EDIT: I wore this as bedtime last night… Not a wise decision!! I had two nightmares, the first featuring me being chased by a polar bear hahaha. I don’t know if it’s because of the intensity of this fragrance or not, but when I woke up in the middle of the night, still terrified, I almost choked! The projection is beastly with this, and I’m talking about ONE spritz lol.
I have to say it’s not bad at all though…

23 notes is a stretch don’t you think? People will have different opinions after each time they try it I would think do to the clutter. These are my initial thoughts after sampling it for the 1st time. There is some chocolate present but the clove dominates the opening along with the other spices. After an hour or so the plum shines but I never really get any of the gourmand notes do to the heaviness of all of the spices. I have 1 more to try from EB after loving Wald and disliking this and Usar hopefully Cilice will be a winner.

Perhaps one of the beastliest performances of any a scent I’ve sampled. Smells like a stone and wood kitchen in a country holiday cottage where meat has been marinading in some clove, wine, and herb concoction, for a couple of days, before the drunken chef gets around to cooking it for Mr and Mrs Poshington-Twonkly when they arrive on Friday evening.
Not for me, but not bad as such, indeed, well done, though maybe overdone.
Got this for free with some other samples from this house, my heart was taken by 100 Tweeds, so don’t listen to me, I’m insane.

Chocolate & spices as it’s more on the spices side. It has (beside the chocolate of course) nutmeg, black pepper, coffee, cloves, & balsam sweetened by honey and sugar. Can’t deny that it is of a quite good quality but i guess it’s just something that i’d pass on although i had high hope on it.
Edit (19th June 2016) I guess I realized now what this fragrance is about once I purchased the 15 ml sample and used it generously on my skin. It is quite the chocolate, not the Belgian assorted one but a good one, something like a fresh and out of the oven kind of home made chocolate. I am sensing the mild heat of the cooking.
Quite good after all so far.
Edit (11th Sept 2016) The Chocolate is accompanied by the nutmeg, black pepper, cloves, grapes, balsamic, and tolu balsamic, with slight honey and vanilla to sweeten the spices beside the chocolate. It’s quite interesting but i think the cloves, & the black pepper makes it a bit worm and heated like if it’s chili. Very interesting eventually.
