Chloe should relaunch this amazing perfume.
Its smell is still kept in my memory. I was teenager when Innocence came out, and I have ever since tried to find a similar fragrance. Shiseido’s ENERGIZING was the closest I could get to it.

Europian Union Bros, I have this if you want to swap… 28/30 ml., perfect condition, smells amazing!

Very clean scent I got a small bottle from ebay, I had high hopes for this perfume but sadly it reminds me of fabric softener. It is floral and musky, very pure and clean, almost like the color of the bottle, but there is no reason to invest money in this scent unless you want to smell like clean clothes right out of drier machine.
It has very good longevity and moderate projection, it also reminds me of some baby cologne from the past…

The only timeless great scent made by Chloe, and it’s discontinued! I keep mine from the late 90s, use it sparingly when I’m in a certain mood. It stays fresh and strong and beautiful for almost 20 years. Dewey violets on the bed of sweet-scented greens. Transparent and a little cool fragrance, like its opaque bottle as if frosted from cold air. Amazing scent, great longevity for an EDT (5-6 hours)!

    The year was 1995.
I was a teen on summer vacation in Europe.
It was my first time in Paris.
Unexpectedly, the trip itself is not that memorable to me today, but, Chloe Innocence is.
    How could it not be?
For both of us had just premièred in Paris.
I brought back Chloe and now hazy memories of a young naïve who, even at the tender young age of fifteen, had immaculate taste.
Chloe resembled all that I was then and embody now: pure, fragile and exquisite.
    Miss you dearly.

Innocence wears like a very grown woman (let’s say late 20’s or in her mid 30’s) who is still in touch with her girly child spirit. She still has her My Little Pony toys and Barbies from the 80’s. She collects vintage porcelain dolls. She has both real flowers at her place as well as plastic flowers. Yeah I’m talking about me. This is a lovely fragrance. It opens with aquatic notes a fresh bergamot citrus scent and water hyacinth which to me smells a bit like a water lily. The heart is floral with a lot of violet and rose. This creates a powdery effect. It’s very powdery and sweet a bit too much sometimes but I love it. The iris note is also making it really powdery. But I love what I’m smelling. The base, or the dry down, is a tad musky and woodsy but not heavy. This is a super powdery violet scent. Sweet, innocent, girly and pretty. I wear this from time to time because on a spring day it smells really nice especially when I have fresh flowers in my home. On colder days this fragrance does not work out. Beautiful fragrance.

I just received this in mail today, and I’m wearing it now. It is a light, white floral perfume that may appear almost too white to be considered “cheap,” but the warm dry down really adds depth to this perfume. I cannot summarize my impression of this perfumer in just one word: it is clean, aquatic yet rich but not too sweet; it is youthful but not superficial. It reminds me of Dior Poison in its sweetness and intriguing mixture of floral notes. The jasmine and maybe violet notes remind me of the white bottle from bvlgari, but innocence is certainly a lighter or cleaner version. All in all, it is a genius one that at first seems too simple, but the harmonious, well-balanced mixture of notes makes this perfume intriguing and forms an almost ambigious, or dynamic impression. I may have to go hunting for more bottles since I can see myself wearing it everyday to every occasion.

This is another wonderful creation that is now unfortunately located in the fragrance graveyard.
Please Chloe resurrect this scent and waken the senses of this poor generation that is accustomed to fruitchoulli bombs!

This perfume is exactly what I expected from Dior Diorissimo in terms of longevity and mood it creates around. It has some hints of LOTV and as a little extra a sprarkling trail of spring-like scent. Longevity is way better than Diorissimo.
It floats around me as I wish Diorissimo would but I am very glad with this find despite the fact it’s been discontinued for a long time already. Still detectable on ebay and other platforms.

OMG! I remember this perfume from I was very young and I loved the smell of it! I remember it being so fresh, clean and citrusy – without being boring! I would love to get my hands on this to smell it again (as it’s probably been 10 years since the last time I saw it). I believe it’s discontinued, or at least it’s been many years since it was no longer available in Norway.

I rarely find a perfume that sings to me, that I fall in love with. that I say “this is the one”. I do feel all of that and more with Chloe Innosence. It’s a fairy smell, spelbounding, weightless.. The calm of the lake in the middle of nowhere only with dragonflies to keep it company. A smell of freedom. I can’t help it 🙂 I could bath in it.
On another hand, it could be, that I simply adore the smell of water hyacinth. I never had another fragrance with such a prominent note of this beautiful flower.
All in all this is a stunning fragrance, one that I keep buying no matter the cost.

My Favourite Perfume of All Time!!I fell in love with it since the day i bought it the 90’s…..incredible,sensual,sexy,natural,charismatic….i remember my boyfriend then fell in love with me wearing that scent and he still founds that fragrance unique and true to myself…it is like my second skin ,it is like i’ve always wanted to smell like this….my real me…. love it to death!! :)))))

The very essence of innocence. I’ve written about it before, squealing about how it’s the smell of angel wings, softness, sparkling morning light and sweet smiles.
I still stand by that statement, I haven’t encountered too many white rose perfumes that smell young and not dated but this scent has an ethereal ageless quality.
It brings to mind fairies skimming on a lake covered in pale petals, bathed in sunlight, a lovely composition of delicate snowy florals. It blossoms on the skin beautifully and it’s such an underrated heartbreakingly gorgeous work of art.

I bought on ebay and I must say this perfume sprayed just took my breath initially ‘strong and hyacinth covers the other fragrances but after a few minutes you will hear a lot bergamot, suddenly not expressing the flowery fragrance leaves me a piacevolissma of powdery, my skin tells me this, I paid $ 166 this perfume and I really do not repurchase.

To me Chloe Innocence was truly special, and i’ve yet to find a perfume that captured my heart the way this did. I loved it from the moment i smelt it at the counter, this was some years ago now and i was so sad they stopped making it as despite using lots of other perfumes over the years so far i have not found something that i love as much to call my signature scent.
A haunting fragrance that stays with you for a long time, beautiful with an almost dreamlike ethereal quality i found it to be both clean, light and pure as well sensual and seductive. I loved the innocent pure floral notes that were made so sensual by something magical woody and intoxicating. A timeless scent i just adore.

Chloe’ Innocence, hailed by Susan Irvine as one of the unjusty unsung perfumes of its generation, is like a forest fairy flitting through an English lake at dawn. Mysterious, ethereal, touching the surface of the water with her feet, making water hyacinths appear in her wake. Misty, innocent, romantic perfume like its name.
Made just at the time when Stella McCartney was about to replace Karl Lagerfeld at Chloe’, this perfume was probably badly advertised as it was made at a time of change for the staid house of Chloe’, which certainly had other fish to fry.
And yet this fairy-like perfume with the extraterrestrial/minimalist frosted bottle should have been a classic of the aquatic floral green genre. Find it if you can, and collect the different shape bottles it comes in for every flacon.
Beware this perfume tends to spoil if it’s left in the light even a little bit.

the flacon is a masterpiece…and completely batty artwork…somehow i have always liked more strange bottles than so called normal ones .
the colour ,the the cap ,the luminosity of the glacial blue is stunning.i smellt it .nothing special ,but a fine flower abundance.
great for innocent village girls near the river rhone…

I have found that the word ‘opulent’ as used by perfumers (Amouage, Ineke, et al.) in their marketing literature is actually code for soapy/aldehydic floral compositions, and I’d have to say that Chloe INNOCENCE fits right into that category. This is a fairly sharp, very soapy green floral perfume reminiscent to my nose of Dior TENDRE POISON.
The hyacinth is dominant, but the squeaky clean quality of this creation is what is most striking of all, above the flowers and everything else. When I donned this perfume today, it occurred to me that it may very well have been the inspiration of the entire CLEAN line. Strong and declarative (potential headache alert…), and a bit cold, I’d say. I realize that aldehydes are not listed among the notes, but INNOCENCE is closer to WHITE LINEN than it is to most floral greens, it seems to me.

I had it and liked it 🙂 I’m not sure if I would buy it today but since it has been discontinued I can’t anyway. I remember it to be a nice daytime scent that wasn’t too flowery or too fresh or too citrusy. It was well balanced and sophisticated. “Innocence” was a very good name for it. I can’t understand why they discontinue good scents like this.

Very light and sweet. Truly Innocence!
I would most surtain buy this for my future-daughter.

Innocence in a bottle. Clear, delicate, maidenly. My father bought it for me when I was 14 years old. It was the perfect gift and I´m sad Innocence is not available anymore. It was an enchanting fragrance in a beautiful bottle. For me one of the milestones of all perfumes but unfortunately totally underrated.

Mon parfum d’amour.

it was the first fragrance I had… Mom bought if for me from posh shop we went in to choose my first one. I liked the name, I think it suited young girl with no worries. I am more into classic and oriental fragrances now, but if I can get it I’ll buy it again. Shame it has been discontinued, it is much better then some others still in retail.

I had it and want to buy it again! This is very fresh and perfect for spring-summer! I don´t remember any rose scent in it so was really surprised to read that. For me it was like “forset-during-the-rain-on-a-chilly-spring-day” fragrance. Maybe i am wrong….
Will write more as soon as i buy this one.
As for the Bottle i found it very strange also, but matte glass made it look mysterious, like steamy window.
Now since i have bought a 50 and 100 ml bottles for my collection and tested it once again i must say that this fragrance is a fragrance of a body mousturizing cream indeed! Very creamy and fresh gives you the feeling like you just had shower and have creamed yourself. Very innocent indeed!
Not that it will be my favorite now, but it is quite nice fragrance and i will use it definitly when i get tired of all my heavy spicy oriental scents to comfort myself.
UPDATE! Ladies, if you´re willing to try or get this and don´t want to pay insane price for it, then try Shiseido´s “Energizig fragrance”. This one is a complete copy of “Chloe innocence”!!! Almost identical, i couldn´t belive my nose when i tested it wearing “Chloe innocence”! Just a bit more citrus in Shiseido, but overall is THE SAME! Try it and see for yourself!

I found a mini of this one in a old bag, and I remebered that I used to wear this when I was younger. I dont like it a lot actually, I think its to fresh and light. Sometimes it smells like cheap cleaning lotion, its nice if you feel you need a bath or something, I used to like it but now its a no no.

  36. :

This is romantic poetry in a bottle. It starts green and clean. The hyacinth note ( rarely loved) is very well balanced here and brings individuality to the fragrance. Probably the best hyacinth construction I have ever smelled.
It is light but not soft, innocent but not boring. The bergamot note is subtle, the violets bring an ethereal touch, the honeysuckle warms up the composition and the jasmine gives depth. The vetiver is subdued and humbled. It feels more like an “integrant” note and less egotistic … I could say this is a “3D” composition and less of “a contradiction of notes”.
The dry down is light powdery ( the iris), musky and delicate. Nothing childish. Just a grown up innocence.
    Great staying power.
Generally light, green fragrances are not memorable and can be easy to forget. Somehow this one has a story to remember.
    9/10

This perfume ROCKS! I really wish I could get my hands on some of it somewhere… I remember exactly what it smells like from about 14 years ago. Innocence is the perfect name for it.
It’s ethereal, powdery….fresh…light..perfect for a wedding day (Emzy). It’s a very delicate floral that feels like it’s tinged with glitter, breathy and like a veil of purity.
I’m going to need to hunt even a tiny bit down to smell..it goes for such a high amount on ebay though!!
I’m surprised that there is vetiver in here really I am. Vetiver is a deep dark brooding kind of scent and Chloe Innocence makes me think of glittering snow and white lace. The vetiver is undetectable!
Gorgeous unique and ultra feminine scent. Wish they would bring it back.
Edited to say: Ok..I just went on to ebay and luckily won a 50ml AND 100ml, at least I can get the smell back! This stuff is gorgeous. It truly is. 🙂
I have also purchased Shiseido Energizing and I must say…the opening is slightly different but the dry down is very very similar! Purchase Shiseido if you want to get the feel of Chloe Innocence 68 people are NOT wrong. 🙂

Chloe Innocence starts off cold, fresh and green. There is nothing smooth about the top, instead – it’s very individualistic, but there is a sweet aquatic touch from the water hyacinth that calms down the harsh icy opening.
Gradually the scent becomes warmer from the floral components in the heart: sensual jasmine, rose, honeysuckle and violet. The mix between the cold top and the warm heart is an unsolved dilemma though. Chloe stays undecided and ambigous: Yes or no? Stay or go? Most fragrances are either come hither’s or standoffish, and the wearer choos them by how she want to appear: accessible or inaccessible, and how she wants to feel: cool, professional, interesting or warm, sensual, mysterious. Chloe appears to be both.
After a while this fragrance gradually matures by woody musky basenotes and very slowly becomes more warm and accessible. What rests om my wrist in the end is powdery warm wood from vetiver and cedar and a little hint of musk.
Understanding Chloe Innocence is like understanding a love story which eventually leads to a match: From distance and interest through a passionated roller coaster of ambiguity that in the very end reaches warm maturity and twoness.
The bottle is unique. The organic shape is an artpiece in it self of bluish-white frosted glass. From within there is a soft warm glow, like a milk-shimmering moonstone. Its just like Chloe: a warm glow beneath the surface of hard thick ice.

This is really not my cup of tea…. very fresh and clean green floral, but it’s too sharp when spraying on, and reminds me of a juicy, fruity shower cream although those fruity notes aren’t mentioned here. A little goes a long way, though.

Clean, light but not in a sporty mood, it is a quite romantic one.. I used to love this and very sad when it is discontinued. But Energizing Fragrance of Shiseido (orange bottle) is quite similar to Innocence. Worth trying..
