Great fresh fragrance, best alternate for git with better performance..

A nice aromatic that is a little aquatic, but green and classy
I do not believe it has the fancy nature, and distinct fresh green feel of GIT
This is one of the better bonds in my opinion , but with 5 hours longevity and fair projection I think there are better options
Dryad is still the best classic green fragrance I have ever smelled
This might be the green fragrance for you, so try it out

  3. :

Definitely more unisex than GIT and Coolwater. It lacks the potent verbena and seems to have a smooth vetiver

And I will say it does remind me of a imaginary laundry detergent that would be far far too expensive , and I know what you’re thinking, no I am not gay

This one to me has all the great things about green Irish tweed but maybe somehow inverted to be more subtle + airy, focusing on having no superfluous shit-in-it. It’s really great it’s like they payed more attention to the tone or tambre (to mix idioms). It’s fuzzy while being a little creamy + fresh woody , tea +green

In all honesty when I first started getting into fragrances I would have bought a bottle of this or GIT as an upgrade from cool water but ya know what?! I don’t see any point at all anymore. This smells so similar to cool water that I bet any frag head or the average joe wouldn’t be able to tell the difference from the sillage. Of course there is a difference when smelt directly on the skin and the two niche being more smoother but I can honestly say and this is pretty rich coming from me because I have bashed houses like this but I prefer Armafs Tres Nuit and to me it smells even better than Chez bond (don’t even care to try GIT again). I did used to enjoy Cool Water a lot but I want fragrances with a bit more substance and uniqueness these days and this genre doesn’t really appeal to me anymore. I find they smell like a basic fabric softener so overall just a pleasant vibe. If you enjoy Chez bond , Cool Water & GIT and are open minded then give Tres Nuit a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Blind buy, not better than davidoff cool water ! Please don’t even compare It with GIT again, Creed GIT is the boss ( I’m talking about performance )

  9. :

I prefer Chez Bond to GIT. GIT, as a Creed, has variability from batch to batch. The last bottle of GIT I owned had really strong ambergris and violet notes that ruined it for me. Chez Bond is very similar indeed but wears lighter and is fresher. Good longevity.
The first wearing around the wife she immediately gushed over it and then added “you smell so good, like cool water”. She has never commented all the times I’ve worn actual Cool Water or GIT.

  10. :

    5 out of 5

As other reviewers have noted, this smells identical to Creed GIT, but a bit more synthetic and “laundry” smelling. I am not a fan of GIT and I’m not a fan of this either as it’s not the type of fragrance I’d usually go for. From Chez Bond I do get a laundry detergent or dryer sheet smell that I find to be a little off putting. Is it pleasant smelling? Yes. There isn’t anything wrong with the fragrance it’s just not something I enjoy. I will say that if you were considering getting this or GIT, I would go with GIT as it smells a bit better and less “sharp” this just isn’t a fragrance for me or that I would ever see myself wearing.

Fragrance -Chez Bond Bond No 9
    Bottle from – 2015
When I was at college,I usually waited for my girlfriend in the botanical garden. The pleasure of waiting for her to appear and that scent of nature, grass, trees, flowers…Oh boy.It was so innocent, magical and transcendent. Each time I smell Chez Bond I’m instantly transported back to that garden. This fragrance is a fresh, green, woody and natural mix of violet leaf, tea and sandalwood with a beautiful opening notes of citrus that quickly give way to a green mix of violet leaf and tea in the middle, followed by creamy and a little bit green blend of sandalwood, cedar, vetiver and tea in the drydown. It has similarities to Green Irish Tweed by Creed in the opening and in the middle, but not so much in the drydown.
    Longevity – 7/10(7+ hours)
Silage/Projection – 7/10(moderate projection and silage for the first 2-3 hours)
Weather – for more or less any time of year, best in spring and summer
    Versatility – 9/10
    Age – 19+
    Compliments – 8/10
    Scent – 8,5/10
Main notes according to me –
    violet leaf,citruses,sandalwood,tea,grass,green notes.
The drydown is nice and creamy and i get some -woodiness,sandalwood,tea,cedar and vetiver.
    Emotions -timeless,botanical garden,natural,fresh,green grass.
Occasion – perfect for more or less any ocasion.
Could be a nice signature scent. You’ll get compliments with this one.

I really enjoy this one from the sample, however it is pretty much identical to GIT & Tres Nuit to me, which isn’t a bad thing but since i already own one of those, it would be a redundant purchase. Quality stuff though!

I know this is for men but on me it smells like citrus bubblegum! my goodness it’s delicious. I love this offering. I am surprised it isn’t unisex because to me it smells extremely sweet and playful. I literally can’t stop smelling my wrist for more than 30 seconds at a time! LOVE!

  14. :

    3 out of 5

Bit of an odd one on me, not just the smell but performance.
Odd thing 1 is in the opening. As you’d expect from a fresh green scent it opens with a fresh citrusy grassy waft which is lovely but after a minute or 2 I get a slightly quirky oatmeal/porridge note that isn’t unpleasant but just seems weird.
I’ve never had lemongrass flavoured porridge before but can imagine this is what it would smell like.
After about half an hour I start to get the tea dry down and thats what I like about the frag. I’d say this is the stage where it surpasses GIT, and GIT was my signature scent for 18 years, so I don’t say that lightly.
Odd thing 2 is performance. Longevity is OK, not great, but OK as I get 6-7 hours out of it but projection and silage are pretty darn good with folk saying they can smell it throughout it’s duration.
BUT then it just goes, it doesn’t fade or tone down to a skin scent, it just vanishes completely. Literally its ‘now you see me now you don’t’. I’ve been able to apply another scent on the same spot i’d previously sprayed Chez Bond as it fades so totally.
Anyhoo, I like it, I don’t love it but it’s a really nice spring time frag that i’ll probably always have on hand and is a nice accompaniment to GIT in my collection.

This smells mostly of black pepper and starch, like a table cracker, with an indistinct ozonic ‘green’ note, sort of marine, sort of vegetal…but nothing impressive. It’s like a more boring version of Dunhill “Icon”.
A grey suit in a bottle.

Ok. Amazing citrus opening. Smells like fruit salad. Strong as hell. Sandalwood dry down is pretty rough tho. I got it for 70 bucks. Would be pissed if I payed more.

Not bad, not wonderful. Strong, not monstrous. Smell is nice, not amazing. Not worth big bucks.

I get a very strong musky bergamot here. The kind that is actually in a LOT of other (cheaper) male fragrances. Not really impressed to be honest. I was hoping for more woody green.

Super fresh and minty fragrance. It blends will with quite a few of the other bond no 9 scents. I like to blend it with scent of peace for him and get compliments from it. People say its similar to green irish tweed but I actually have not smelled that yet so I cannot comment. I like this one though.

  23. :

Really beautiful creamy sandalwood in green notes cloud.
At the beginning citrus, at the end mainly the tea detectable.
Gorgeous day time scent what working very well on colder summer Sundays.

  24. :

    5 out of 5

not quite the same as GIT, but definitely in the ball park. For me, this has a little more citrus, a little less violet leaf. Hence I find CB a tad “lighter”, a little fresher than GIT. A good, all around, safe, luxe, mens frag.

  25. :

Chez Bond by Bond No 9 is a great and individual fragrance that has notes of fruits, tea, grass, sandalwood, green notes, violet leaf, vetiver and cedar. To me the aroma feels so vibrant and fresh that I was pleasantly surprised and happy to have this in my collection. A burst of citruses come through first then the tea softens the aroma a little which is lovely for the freshness of the green notes that awaken Chez Bond from its little slumber to happily coexist with sandalwood and vetiver.
Longevity was long lasting with 8-12 hours consistently which I loved as I just adored this fragrance over any other Bond I had and have in collection, even preferred Chez Bond over Bleecker St. Yet in another twist I used to layer Chez Bond & Bleecker St together and the aroma of both of them was phenomenally good, but I digress. Projection of Chez Bond is long lasting up to 8 hours which is really good and quite a surprise initially when I started wearing this fragrance when the weather was warmer.
Overall, I really liked Chez Bond and would like to have it back in my collection soon as it’s light, fresh and airy and for me slightly more wearable than Bleecker St. An absolute repurchase in my book.

3 insights help put Chez Bond in perspective.
1st, just read the ingredients in the synthetic cacophony called “Cool Water,” and you’ll scratch your head trying to make any legit connection between “CW” and Chez Bond OR between “CW” and Green Irish Tweed.
2nd, the quality of Green Irish Tweed varies from batch to batch. In past years I’ve gotten both. Buying GIT is like throwing dice. If you come up with 2 6’s, it’s a really good fresh green scent; roll 2 1’s, get a bad batch, and the scent’s almost criminally offensive. So WHY pay that kind of $$ to take that kind of chance?
3rd, Chez Bond is consistent. All natural ingredients (or the website is lying, one or the other), green yet smooth and fresh at the same time. Classy AND casual. And, for some inexplicable reason, calming. The drydown is top-notch with a cedarwood / sandalwood finish, while never losing the smooth “green” note. And, since this juice doesn’t have musk, there’s nothing in it to turn rancid on the skin (as musk often tends to do).
For the $$ you’ll pay, it’s a safer, better bet than GIT, in my opinion. Pure class in a bottle . . . and this evaluation is coming from someone who ten years ago thought GIT was the bee’s knees!

I’m not going to provide a comparative analysis between all the fragrances that smell similar to Chez Bond…that narrative can be seen in abundance below. I will however explain why I had to have Chez Bond.
I was gifted a sample of Chez from a buddy of mine. At the time, I was too excited about receiving my blindly bought Lalique Hommage (really nice btw), so I didn’t pay much attention to the sample. The temperature had started to drop (65 F) and it had rained all week. And being a person that takes public transportation into downtown Chicago, rain is the absolute worst thing that could happen for passengers on a crowded bus. Before I left the house, I decided to spray Chez Bond on my wrists and head to the bus stop. As I sat down on the bus – wet, cold, and irritated by the obnoxious smells that entered my nose (some people just refuse to bathe properly) – I decided to rest my head on my hand in an attempt to escape the hell which had become my commute. While resting, I couldn’t help but get a whiff of what I thought was a passenger’s lemon tea. So, I rubbed my nose, and got a whiff of that same lemon tea, but it was more present. Almost came across as fizz or powder intertwined with citrus and grassy notes. Pure relaxation in the heart of chaos. It was so relaxing I ended up falling asleep. Thankfully, I awoke to the same smell right before my stop. It was like I had been cradled to sleep in a freshly laundered blanket smelling of subdued violet leaf, faint citrus notes, and a hint of woods. I ended up buying a full bottle that week. It has exclusively become my rainy day fragrance.

Chez Bond has long been an smooth gentle alternative for people who find Green Irish Tweed to be too strong and Cool Water to be too synthetic.
However, Tres Nuit by Armaf does the same thing for 1/4 the price. I’ll still buy Chez Bond someday, but it’s not as urgent with so many fragrances of the same genre competing.

There are companies that put positive numbers in your bank account and entrepreneurial opportunism towards investment in creative perfumers, artists and investment in perfumes and unique quality that makes this profession is an art and nothing else.
I am in favor of unique works of art and perfume and not the other.
I say this because this fragrance is almost identical to the classic Green Irish Tweed by Creed 85, only green and a little more aromatic than the other. Come on!! These Bond they burned the brain from thinking.
And although the composition and qualities are not bad, it is a resounding very negative point for me.

Fortunate enough to have Chez Bond and Green Irish Tweed. It cracks me up when some dislike the grassy accord the GIT exudes for the first 2 minutes after spraying, because after that you are graced by its ORGANIC simple but complex scent. In a nutshell, if you are trying to decide to buy Chez Bond or Green Irish Tweed, for your sake buy the CREED.
I can tell Chez is more processed and much more linear. It’s smell is very homogenized and I think synthetic, than the rich, more complex and three dimensional scent the GIT displays.
On my skin, on a side by side comparison GIT stays true to itself, meaning I can trust its scent, and I know I will be happy and content with the way it smells during its entire dry down. Chez on the other hand starts off brilliant but it’s dry down loses its character, and it does not stay true to itself. Chez is not gradual in its dry down compared to GIT. CHEZ goes from brilliant sweet, milky, ans green to a somewhat sharp peppery dry down. GIT on the other hand gives me the confidence that it will smell wonderful from start to finish.
I wanted to write this review from reading others and I think many are just complimenting the scent with its initial smell, but a scent is supposed to be judged after the fact in my opinion.

I can’t for the life of me understand how people think cool water, green Irish tweed and chez bond smell the same. I think they are 3 very different scents that are all easily distinguishable from one another and in my opinion Chez is the nicest. Doesn’t have that annoying grass note of GIT, it’s beautiful from the initial spray

  32. :

    5 out of 5

    Muy bueno

  33. :

    4 out of 5

Look, I definitely get the comparison to GIT and Cool Water. If you are looking for that “Fresh Crisp Green” scent that GIT and Cool Water made famous then this definitely does the same thing, and honestly most people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
But there is also something deeper going on here. Something sweet. It even hints on a touch of Juniper Berry. It is like they took Cool Water and made it a candy.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

One of my favorite Bond’s. It’s a very calm peaceful soothing fragrance, wearable for a man or woman. It’s like Green Irish Tweed, but less natural and more calm. My girlfriend prefers it over GIT, but I’d at least admit it’s better than a bad batch of GIT.
The projection is good. It’s linear and doesn’t develop ; you basically buy this fragrance for the first hour or two of wearing. Couple that with the high price, and you have a really versatile great-smelling fragrance that I have to give a “Like” to rather than a “Love”.

  35. :

    3 out of 5

Of the half dozen or so Bond’s that I have tried, this is definitely the most versatile.
This is a very well-blended fragrance! I can’t really pick any singular notes that stand out; I’m getting and overall green citrus-zest-meets-woodbark vibe. A very masculine and mature (but not “old”) fragrance for sure. All-season wearability, day or night.
9/10; I’m hard to please, but this stuff is way up there on my list.

  36. :

    4 out of 5

Chez Bond was my very first Bond No. 9 (discovered through Nordstrom). Notes that I recognize in it: citrus, herbal tea, violet leaves, vetiver.
Very pleasant, fresh and long-lasting Bond No.9. It is one of those few amazing fragrances that I will be continuously re-purchasing.

  37. :

    3 out of 5

This one is a very personal choice which can’t be concluded based upon other people’s comparisons to other fragrances. This smells great, even captivating, on skin. It stays true to the notes that are advertised. Resenting the price may simply indicate envy of being able to afford it. A high-end contender for a similar segment might only boast some whale barf and a drydown that is very reminiscent of tweed. A low-end contender now smells like cheap aquatic aromachemicals, no longer the game changer it used to be. Chez Bond, on the other hand, smells like Chez Bond, and it gives an unapologetic irresistibility to the wearer when paired with a personality that is ripe with self-respect and confidence.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

This one is growing on me. I smelled it on a tester strip at Saks while I was checking out Bond stuff, and it was one of the more memorable scents I tried that day. A few months later, I bought a bottle without testing it on my skin. I was a little disappointed because something smelled kind of sweaty to me after a few minutes (maybe the tea note?).
I didn’t give up on it, and now I enjoy it much more. It’s no masterpiece, simply a good masculine fragrance. Woody and green with a fresh fizziness at the top.
Longevity is a bit worse than my favorite Bond scents, maybe 4-5 hours with moderate projection. I probably won’t buy it again, but I will use the bottle I have.

    10/10

  40. :

    4 out of 5

Much better than GIT in my opinion. However there’s plenty of people that will swear by GIT because it’s a Creed. That being said, I do think if you have CW that you don’t necessarily need Chez. But if you have some money and want a premier scent, go with Chez over GIT.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

Chez Bond’s top notes are listed as citrus notes, with bergamot being the main operator from what I can tell, which, coupled with tea, provide the main duo for the entirey of the fragrance’s life. Violet, sandalwood, and vetiver are each evident to me, as well, but it’s really the bergamot and tea that create the fresh appeal for this warm weather fragrance. There is not much evolution to it, as it opens a little brighter and becomes a little softer over time
Like Brooklyn, I’m not inclined to reach for Chez Bond as a warm weather fragrance purchase from Bond, partly as I think their cold weather EDPs seem to be better expressed than their warm weather offerings. This is a superior entry to Brooklyn, though, and may be closer to what I’d hope to get out of their line, though like many other Bonds, it’s made more affordable by FragranceNet.
Projection and longevity are decent, but nothing to write home about, as I’ve gotten better of both from Creed’s warm weather offerings (not that this is a house war…just for a point of reference to other niches). Target use for me would be a warm weather day, and it works pleasantly for a man, but could certainly work for a woman as well.
The comparisons to Creed’s Green Irish Tweed are valid, as Chez Bond is a very natural, green fragrance with a citrus/floral/woody balance, and the two fragrances are comparable, price-wise. I’d probably say that GIT is slightly fresher-smelling, but I’d really need to compare them at the same time to have more conviction than that.
Overall, a worthy competitor to GIT and an indisputably fresh option to reach for on the EDP/niche side, particularly if the tea element isn’t too androgynous for the wearer. Like GIT, not one I’d necessarily buy but an interesting option for warm weather use.

I have Green Irish Tweed, Cool Water, and Chez Bond. With that said here is how I rank the three and why.
    1. Cool Water – yes it is a chemical bomb and can be headache inducing. However if you spray it in the air and walk through it, you avoid the chemical smell and headache. It costs $25.00 for 4 oz
    2. Green Irish Tweed – $150.00 for 4 oz of juice. High quality juice and will not cause a headache. Smells very similar to Cool Water and Chez Bond but there is a difference. You can distinguish the scents if they are side by side else you cannot tell the difference.
    3. Bond no 9 Chez Bond – $150.00 for 3.3 oz of juice. High quality juice but not as refine as Green Irish Tweed. Will not cause a headache. It takes a different turn than Green Irish Tweed but as my lady tells me “They all smell the same to her. Smells like Cool Water!

  43. :

    5 out of 5

I have to admit that I enjoy this more than GIT. It’s probably 95% the same as GIT but it last longer and projects better on me. It does smell somewhat less natural, but with everything this has going for it, I can overlook that. Also, this is a compliment monster if that’s something your into. I get far more compliments with this than GIT.

  44. :

For those that are hung-up on Cool Water, but just want something more expensive. With adequate dose of masculinity, yet on the safe clean and aquatic side. Yet still too synthetic for me to love it..

Smells a lot like well.. cool water, and GIT. And honestly I dont care for either of those. That being said obviously cool water is the loser between. But its also waaaaay cheaper. But you know here is one thing I will give Chez… Its by far the best smelling on paper.
On paper its actually kinda nice smelling, and more distinguishably different. Well OK perhaps thats misleading. I stil wouldnt buy it, but hey I do think it edges out the others in terms of smell on paper alone. However sadly on my skin, boom. They all smell the same.
    Pass for me.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

I absolutely adore this fragrance. Possibly more then I love Creed Green Irish Tweed, and GIT is my signature scent at the moment. While the two are similar at first glance, they differ in many ways. I find GIT to be a bit heavier and masculine. Chez Bond is a little more sparkly, with a sweet note to it. The citrus in both are done superbly. I love them both equally, that I keep both on hand at all times. The women I work with seems to prefer Chez Bond more then GIT (but only slightly). As with most Bonds and Creeds, price doesn’t help you make the decision with which to purchase. Get samples of each and make the choice accordingly. Or if money isn’t an issue do what I do and get both! Enjoy. Happy Hunting!

All I can say is “WOW!” I don’t say that often anymore. This has to be my new favorite! I keep reading about similarities between this and Creed’s Green Irish Tweed but I just don’t smell it. They both smell great though. Bond No. 9 Chez Bond is definitely the winner!
    10/10 scent!
    Well worth the money!

Lots of lemony orange to open with masculine green notes and sharp violet leaf.
As Chez Bond softens, the violet leaf deepens and sandalwood gives a lovely sweet wooded dimension to the heart.
The drydown is warm with the comforting character of tea without the note being too prominent in aroma. Delicious orange-sandalwood radiance with sueded green accents makes for a refined and familar finish.

  49. :

On my skin this smells exactly like GIT, did a side by side and the only slight difference to me was that GIT did smell more natural and a bit more vibrant to the trained nose that is. Silliage and projection were the same but CB did project further in the end drydown. Still not sure if I prefer one over the other but as a creed fan I probably wud buy a fb of GIT for the scent alone.

I recently came across Chez, I did read some of the review’s but that didn’t change my mind. I agree with Sherapop, this frag isn’t unisex enough it’s more masculine. Bond claims that the entire line is unisex…for me Hampton is too feminine. I do agree that you can certainly pick up a similarity between CW and GIT. Awhile back before buying Chez I was looking for Git, if I could find it at a reasonable price.
Nonetheless, I’m pleased with Chez and I don’t find it cheap as a lot have suggested. Not all frag’s smell the same on everyone so keep in mind that whatever is said, it may or may not be for you.
longevity and Silage are both good lasting longer than 6hrs.
    Overall opinion,
The price high gives everyone the expression that it’s worth what you pay for. Unfortunately I’m not prepared to pay the high price for GIT or AVENTUS only because the market is flooded with these products instead of a vintage frag which is hard to find.
Rating this fragrance aside from all negative…7.5/10 I enjoy this fragrance and I’ve also had several woman come up and compliment me on the fragrance I was wearing.
P.S. I only paid 49usd and its authentic!!! No way would I spend 300usd for this fragrance.

To me there’s a strong similarity to GIT, which includes Cool Water. The scent is fantastic and has staying and projection power but at this cost, though I would rather find something else, if I wanted this scent and cash strapped, I would just get cool water, even if GIT and Chez Bond have a better quality smell.

Chez Bond EDP is my first Bond No. 9 and I am really impressed. I love it! It is light, airy and just right for the South Florida climate. I hate saying this but it does smell a bit like GIT. GIT is a lot stronger than Chez Bond though.
Anyways, back to Chez Bond. I wore it this morning to work and I already got a few compliments. I can smell it on me and it makes me feel very happy. I will be wearing it very often.

  53. :

    5 out of 5

Btw, I accidentally layered it with Bvlgari Extreme Pour Homme – which amplified the tea note and gave it some spiciness. Worth a try!
And really – I can’t see similarities with Davidoff’s Cool Water nor with Creed’s Green Irish Tweed…

  54. :

    3 out of 5

One of the most beautiful compositions I’ve EVER smelled!
It opens up very with very green and citrusy sharp notes – I guess it’s a mix of violet leaf, grass and citruses. Soon it gets much smoother(but still green) when tea comes in. It’s very calming, but still refreshing, a little more balmy than in the beggining. The base is woody, but tea and green notes still are there in the background. Cedar is much more prominent than vetiver.
Longevity is excellent – it stays on me easilly for 8-9 hours, but the sillage is below average and it’s mainly a skin scent – projects good for about 30-45 minutes.
Does it remind me of anything? Well – yes. I feel like it has some DNA of Platinum Egoiste – it has its greennes but without that metallic touch. The mix of tea, citruses and violet leaf smell a bit like opening of Gucci Pour Homme II (but it’s much different than Gucci – it’s not so spicy, much smoother and balmier).
Is it worth its price? To me – definitely. You are paying for the quality of this fragrance here. And you can feel the quality of each ingredient. It’s the most versatile fragrance that I know – I guess. And I have to have it.

Got the most compliments with this scent! It is a nice green fragrance. I love it. Good for spring and summer. Bought my 100 ml bottle in Zwitserland. Got it with 50% discount:-)

Simple, somewhat reminiscent of laundry detergent. Quite generic sexy guy scent. When smelling it it makes me feel like when I was a teen and sniffed cool water from magazine ads with heavenly gorgeous men. Yet, being generic it has it’s own sophistication. It’s all about safety and masculinity. Maybe because it acts so soothing on my brain. Really good job at the proportionate beauty of the blend.

This is some high quality juice with very good sillage at 6 or 7 hrs. This is one of my top scents. Many women LOVE this. Clean, fresh and very sexy. Full Bottle is a must. The tea notes separate this from the rest. It is bracing but still very cool!!!

I dont know how I felt so compelled to purchase this fragrance despite it being so similar to cool water. Its a nice fragrance but frankly not different enough from cool water for me to have shelled out even the $100 I paid for it from fragrancenet. Yes it smells good, yes its classy and yes most all of the other reviews on here that havent torn this frag up are correct. There are minor differences but the differences are not noticeable enough for me to consider them worth the premium. Never smelled Green Irish Tweed so cannot speak of the similarities or differences there.
For the price of this guy, you could try two other brand new frags and be just as satisfied if not more.

Cool water just got a lot pricier… It does at least smell like a highly refined cool water and also blows green Irish tweed away. I just can’t seem to get into that entire side of fragrances and that’s why I don’t like Chez Bond, and dread cool water, or at least a $240 cool water…

It opens very green and clean & then developed to something slightly woodsy, do agree that reminds me of cool water but is less acquatic, nice fragrance with very good longevity and sillage.

‘Chez’ by Bond No9 with it’s sparkling opening like the corking of a fine champagne with a whif of cool green air followed by a rich tantalising taste of sweetness and love. When the day ahead is going to be filled with opportunity and passion ‘Chez’ will remind you of sun filled moments and heavenly bodies frolicking in the sun. Love it after an intense work out (know what I mean) and wanting to feel fresh and invigorated…Awesome chaps!

I’ve been wearing this cologne for a week (sample I was given when I purchased another Bond fragrance.) It’s a very solid fragrance – smells spicy but very smooth…clean and fresh with just a little twist of I’m not exactly sure what (I’m thinking herbal tea?) I can’t see anyone being put off by this scent – it isn’t extremely bold. Seems very suitable for spring/summer. I notice it about 6 hours from when I first put it on, so the longevity seems good to me for a spring/summer suited fragrance. I like it, but I’m not sure that it’s different enough for me to purchase it. I’ll play around with other colognes and come back to this and see how I feel about purchasing it at that point.

Smells nice and the longevity on this is tremendous, but it’s just too similar to Cool Water to be worth the additional cost of a full bottle.

its one of my all time favorite.
this perfume has amazing silage and longevity .
i was quite surprised when a lot of people say it smells like cool water and GIT
and recently i got a chance to smell cool water and GIT.
its smells nothing like cool water.
a little close to GIT on the dry down but definitely not the the same.
they’re are both a gorgeous scent nonetheless

On my skin it starts off citrusy, green, spicy, sweet and mildly woody. I liked the opening notes very well. Mildly “masculine” and highly refreshing. Then violet leaf peeks out, grabbing centre stage alongside patchouli and sandalwood. The citrus notes get subdued.
Smells like men’s aftershave or deodorants but a high quality one.
It dries down roughly the same – green, spicy, woody, musky. Supposedly unisex and I guess the only type of female who can pull this off is one in a full military uniform. Really.
For now, I think it’s nice but I can’t see myself parting $429 for a 3.4 fl oz bottle at Sephora. Crazy. It doesn’t help when the Sephora salesperson keeps pushing you to buy a bottle on the
