this starts with a WHOA leather note, it’s very smoky, almost burning. seconds later i get the rose. strangely enough, it’s a more demure rose, not a voluptuous one. then i get some beautiful oakmoss which really makes the scent for me at this point. these end up being the most prominent notes on my skin.the rose gets richer and the leather remains smoky but calms itself a bit. the oakmoss is the earthy balance between the two. i really like this one-one of my favorite SB scents.

Interesting stuff. I got the Rose and a slight spicy woodiness right off and then the leather right after. It’s settling into a glorious sweet resin now. There’s a definite vanilla note there, which really softens it. I get some musk, too but only at the end and very little.
It smells sexy, unusual yet familiar, warm and slightly sweet. It’s a wee bit heavy with the rose, but that’s part of the charm. I will be wearing this a lot!
ETA- this actually reminds me of an older-style frag from the 70s or 80s. I mean this in the most complementary way!
ETA 2- It’s been over 7 hours since I sprayed this and it’s still present. It’s closer to my skin, but it’s very much alive and well. Very Ambery vanilla at this stage with just a little bit of the leather and rose from earlier. This will be a FB purchase soon!

Yup… leather, roses… and I agree… it reminds me of walking through an old wooden barn filled with antiques like you see on the way to Yakima, WA on the way to buy fruit at the fruit stands. I sorta like it, but prefer the Bollywood or Bust rose fragrance of Brents. This actually smells like it has hay in it too. (thus my recollection to an old barn I guess)

I smelll leather, incense, maybe some dried roses or potpourri and resin of some sort. In other words: it smells like an old attic. Nice, but not my type of smell.
