Heaven for narcissus lovers. Its rich, not of that intensity as Fracas, much softer, but still buttery, bright and feminine
Its might be my personal olfactory dream – but its first ever! floral fragrance where I happily can smell bird cherry tree in bloom and its un be lie vable! Created so many flashbacks in memory!
Charleston is sort of fragrance that opens at once, as definitely Big Sunny Floral. Despite very retro-name its not “dated” – just different, in a very pretty way. Flappers of the Roaring Twenties
Narcissus paired with vetiver – bold and unforgettable!
Its the first fragrance of Isabel Derroisne I ever owned and I am charmed.

What a wonderful perfume! It is indeed a white floral, but not your typical white floral though! It is wonderful mix between white floral, wood and yellow, very well balanced! Gorgeous!

Charleston the fragrance symbolizes an era, where women and feminism came together: the long, uncomfortable dresses with corsettes gave way for shorter and wide dresses, the vogue of short haircuts began and smoking became socially possible for the fairer sex.
I suppose if you keep this in mind CHARLESTON represents the spirit well. Tuberose and Narcissus give the wearer a flowery but not clean image. It is gorgeous in that aspect! The scent doesn’t scream but transmits its voice in a whitty way 😉
Projection is not overwhelming, through which this is wearable. Sadly on me the vetiver doesn’t come through too much, and it is more a floral on me. It smells lovely though. The clove and musk give the perfume more edge and a kind of wicked edge, forbidding the fragrance to be onedimensional.
In my opinion this is no masterpiece like FRACAS but in the same line and a real treat to wear.If you have problems with tuberose though, I’d recommend caution!
