Kohl’s just put out a gift set of Chapter Two in stores and online (free shipping for a total amount of purchase $75 or more). Set includes the biggest size perfume bottle 1.7 oz 50 ml, a rollerball of Chapter Two, and a rollerball of Chapter One, each rollerball is 0.33 oz 10 ml. It is $40 plus tax for the whole set. Just the 1.7 oz 50 ml bottle alone is already sold separately for $52 plus tax. If you have Kohl’s CASH coupon or coupon from points earned, you’ll save even more.
If you like Chapter Two and would like to buy it, check out this good deal. I’m not working for Kohl’s or have anything to do with their business :)).

At first blast and for about the first 15 to 20 minutes, this reminds me a lot of a tamer weaker version of Clinique Happy. Then I began picking up a powdery-ness, and that powdery-ness kind of took over, becoming dominant to my nose (yet still very tame!). I might pick up a very light musk and amber if I really strain to sniff…REALLY STRAIN, lol..but I would not call this amber nor musky…To me this starts off very citrusy then becomes a soft powdery scent with a slight woodiness way in the background. I’m not picking up the aquatic accord at all. White floral? As a white floral lover, I don’t detect any white floral here either, but I bet that the white floral is the sharpness that the reviewer below me detects. Funny how different skins and different noses pick up different notes. Soft sillage and not great on longevity.
Once again Aniston’s creators play it safe and inoffensive. As the reviewer below me noted, this reminds me of an Avon fragrance. I typically like Aniston’s fragrances, and while I certainly don’t dislike this one, this one won’t be finding it’s way to my shopping cart..even if discounted. Sorry, I wish Aniston’s team would come up with something creative and unique and not “been there, done that”. Having said that, this might make a nice, safe gift. All in all, this one is okay, but if you’ve been in the fragrance world for a while, this one might be boring for you. Meh!!!

Great sale on this today at Kohl’s, like 40% off. I went over to smell it, and it was not even out on the floor yet. The kind saleswoman brought one out for me.
Nice, I’d wear it if I got it for free, smelled a little peachy at first, but it has that note that a lot of inoffensive Avon fragrances do. Don’t know what it is, a sharper floral I don’t mind but don’t seek out.
This scent is fresh and happy but nowhere as distinctive as Chapter One, which I love due to its similarity to a $$$ Tom Ford scent. I don’t know if I would classify it as a floriental. I hoped to smell more of the solar and coconut notes. I will spray it liberally the next time I am in Kohl’s and will give it another go. I hope there is a body spray to go with it eventually; did not see one today.

Before this page was uploaded, I posted my review for Chapter Two on Chapter One’s page. I tested C. Two in store and turned out, I guessed some notes wrong 🙂 But overall, C. Two is still a nice citrusy and woody fragrance, as the orange and wood notes stood out the most to my nose. C. One “followed” the trail of Tom Ford Soleil Blanc EDP, and I think C. Two is sort of following the foot trail of Dior Joy. Below is my original review for C. Two that was posted on C. One’s page before this page was added in here:
“On my skin, C. Two is not a sweet scent at all. It is citrusy and woody. I’m guessing it smells like it has mandarine orange/bergamot/citrus, rose, sandal wood/cedar, musk, and maybe some tuberose/ylang ylang…Totally different scent compared to C. One.
C. Two is very nice and warm, elegant and feminine. I like it very much although it is not anything that I haven’t smelled before. It is well blended, balanced, pleasant and enjoyable. To me, it is different and has much better lasting quality than Jen’s Luxe EDP. It is also more “classy” and “modern”. It is a non offensive scent and could be suitable for year round wear at any occasion. The sillage is soft to moderate and longevity is somewhat between weak to moderate.
C. Two fits right in the same category of some new releases this year, such as Dior Joy…It also reminds me a little bit of KKW Body EDP…Overall, I would recommend and buy C. Two for myself later, since I already have Dior Joy and KKW Body. For scent wise, I think it is nicer and more decent than many other celebrity citrusy frags. But personally, I still prefer and adore C. One over C. Two, for the uniqueness and better projection”.
Latest update: yes, I agree there is an “aldehyde”/water note in C. Two. I’m just not so sure about orris root though (as C. Two’s dry down was not powdery to my nose). I did not detect much of amber, white flowers, nor coconut either (as the coconut here is rather more natural and raw than “sweetened”, “milky”, or “creamy”). And to be honest, I still don’t quite understand the “solar note”.

The notes confuse me, so I’m looking forward to this being unique and interesting. With the amber, gardenia, and mandarin, I’m hoping to like it.
