I have fallen in love with this perfume oil designer. She’s brilliant! Caveau des Innocents is a luscious hit dominated by coffee, incense and pipe tobacco. It made me swoon with just one small application. Rich and velvety, long-lasting, wintery, unisex, but probably more feminine than masculine.

This smells so decadent, like masculine candy. It actually reminds me of coffee and rum flavored truffles deluged with thick, dark caramel syrup. I’m wearing it right now, and it does make the heart beat just a little faster as it conjures images of warm tanned bodies, dripping honey, eager tongues. Maybe I have an active imagination.
Don’t worry if you first smell it and it’s just leather and licorice. That will go away in a couple of days.

This little fragrant gem is amazing! It has cannibals as a note, which was the reason why I purchased it. It’s smoky, sweet, spicy, resinous, woody, and boozy (Wow!). Such a cornucopia of notes that harmonizes well together. It also can be worn both day and night, not to mention that it’s multi-seasonal, but it’s best worn during the autumn months. Definitely one of my new favorites! But don’t take my word for it. Check it out for yourself!

This starts quite masculine, reminding me slightly of New Haarlem by Bond no 9 with the prominent coffe bean note. It’s a cold scent, like smelling right out of a jar of beans. It also has a green, inky, dark feel to it as well, which I attribute to the cannabis and tobacco. In the background I can sense the same sweet honey caramel from Miel de Sauvage et Tabac, also by Alkemia. Recommended if you like masculine leaning gourmands.

Someone has been hard at work in the secret depths The Dark Kitchen, conjuring finely debauched delectables, designed and prepared for loosening, or is that eliminating, all inhibitions. Here is the enticing aspect of the darkly forbidden… a sweet little taste on the tip of the tongue ignites a small dull light that guides the uninitiated into heretofore unimagined pleasures. It would be sinister if it weren’t so excruciatingly blissful. The accordion swells and I hang on to his leg as he drags me across the floor through splinters of shattered rum kegs, spilled coffee, and scattered tabac leavings from drunkenly rolled cigarettes. Clinging… desperate to recapture those first ravishing tastes as he plied me with drug-laced candied pears and citron… stealing not just my heart or soul… but my will.
Man. This one is just that bad. And just that fun.
