I know this is described as one of the Lab’s offerings for men, and it definitely is quite masculine in a classic sense, but as a woman, I love this stuff.
On me, this has a strong lavender component, elevated by citrus yet grounded by leather and anise. Very herbal and sharp, but, strangely, in a smooth and sexy way. I feel fresh and energized and slightly impish when I wear Casanova. I only have one bottle of this discontinued blend, and hoard it carefully.

LAB’S DESCRIPTION
“A name synonymous with seduction and licentiousness. From childhood aspirations of seclusion and priesthood came Giacomo Casanova, the self-styled Chevalier de Seingalt, the most notorious debauchee and playboy of all time. His memoirs, Histoire de Ma Vie, enflamed the Enlightenment with scandal and tales of sexual conquest. His restless nature and flair for sensationalizing his adventures drew him into and out of fortune, through numerous careers and affairs, and led him into a brief altercation with the Inquisition and a conviction on the charge of witchcraft. Though he had a life rife with drama and intrigue, he died peacefully at the age of 73, librarian to the Count of Waldstein. Who says librarians can’t be sexy? A rakish blend of leather, anise, lavender, bergamot and amber with tonka, lemon peel and lusty patchouli.”
My review
I think that casanova (after wearing it for two weeks) is a scent that you need to try at least 5 times on 5 different days, just to get the real effect.
When I first smelled this in the imp I thought oh no…. just another typical man smell (Mysef being a bloke, I tend to go for something a litttle bit unusal) but I wore it for a little while (at least 5 days) and learned that this scent has other secrets to offer.
Cassanova on me, turns into this lovely crisp spicy smell that lingers for a long time, it kind of reminds me of Obsession at first but turns into something much much nicer after a while!
Al the blokes out there, get some.
