I sometimes question how CSP decides their desserty scents are tropical, but this one fits without question in my eyes.
The first 10 minutes are synthetic and awful as others have mentioned, you really need to hang on for a while for things to get better. It seems like a lot of CSP fragrances are harsh at first spray and better at dry down to my nose so it’s all about a little patience.
The top notes of caramel and coconut are really some of the heaviest and long lasting notes to my nose. I can smell them though the whole fragrance. At dry down I get more of a toasted almond, coconut milk, sticky caramel scent. It is VERY sweet, I mean VERY.
I’m not sure why but I don’t love this, I think it’s a little too buttery sweet for me. It’s okay to me though, I like it in very small amounts. The scent is very long lasting.

Nummy nummy. First on, it has a very synthetic “HI I’M CARAMEL!” bitter smell, but wait for the drydown – it becomes a really delicious vanilla gourmand, reminiscent of scents like Lann Ael. The bitter edge fades, a little bit is there at the base which grounds it and keeps it from being a pure cotton candy fragrance. It really does make me imagine Fall when I’m heating caramel for apples…it’s not overpowering like some of the other Sud Pacifiques. Has a little muskiness to it which is also nice.
If anybody remembers, Bath & Body Works had a line of vanilla fragrances (in metal cans) like – 15 years ago maybe, when vanilla fragrances were the rage. This is a dead ringer for the vanilla fragrance they had, which I adored. So I think I’m gonna pick this up before it’s gone, too.

I purchased this based on the reviews because I love CSP, but YUCK! On first spray I smell a boozy, salty..carmel corn. An hour after I still smell carmel corn, it dries down to a wonderful powdery, chocolately caramel smell, but unfortunately the dry down is not worth it and this scent will be retired.

I love it too!!!
It’s all butter toffee on me!
I always get compliments when I wear it! Even from my Grandma! She loves it! lol
Although it’s very sweet, it won’t make you feel sick or give you a headache..it’s very comfortable!

I have just got my bottle and had to try it out at once. What can I say… It is very, very sweet. You can of course tell all this from just having a look at the ingredients. However, I was still surprised when I first sprayed it on my wrist.
The smell is heveanly delightful, pretty strong, warm, rich, definitely caramel and almonds take over feom the start and floral notes kind of get lost somewhere on the way. It is certainly a feeling you got get upon entering a chocolate factory. To say all that, I love it. I am generally a person falling for oriental floral or oriental vanilla, the sweeter and the heaver the better, so this one is just perfect. I might not wear it for university or work, not wanting to smell like a box of caramel chocolate, but it is such a comforting and delicious smell, one can almost regret that you can not eat it.
