smells like any other “general” men fragnances and longevity is 1 hour unfortunately. I bought this one cos it was cheap but I owned nothing at the end.

The funny thing is that leather note is not even mentioned here. The only thing that I get from this scent during its whole life is leather, leather and leather. It is a very potent headache inducer.

Can’t make up my mind whether I like it or not. Certainly unique.
There seems to be at least two versions of this, according to reviews. Mine is the leather/suede.
It starts with a big dose of petroleum fume. If somebody believes this is “teakwood” or “thuja”, it’s not. It’s petrol gas. This is the most unique feature, and it is actually quite interesting and good in a weird way.
Then emerges bergamot and grapefruit allright, until the leather/suede kicks in, and this is also very pronounced. So pronounced that I believe there must be two versions out of this perfume.
Petroleum, citrus and leather. There you go. Not high quality stuff, but the idea (if it is done on purpose) is interesting and would work even better with better ingredients and more depth and resolution. Perhaps if they made it a chypre?
Fresh spring/summer scent, for a man on a Vespa wearing a leather jacket, ready to take his girlfriend on a spin around the piazza Navona area.
    6/10

I got this one ULTRA CHEAP…let us say..at a price of an adidas body spray…..what can i SAY….If I had to pay 20 euros for a 50 ml bottle I would not do it…there are much better options….but for the price and in general in a decent smell that would not disgust anybody and is appropriate for the office and formal occasions, it smells elegant specially in the drydown which the best part of it…longevity and projection are moderate and tricky at times….3-6 hours max I would say, however today I even took a bath and I can still slightly feel it after 9 hours……..worth of a blind buy if you find it in a food price…
another thing..the bottle and box looks great for that price!

Agree with Colin Maillard,a decent fragrance for the price but nothing special.

A pleasant woody, leathery dominated fragrance with some sweetness. This is something to wear when you want subtlety in a fragrance and that loses none of its class. This would be a good choice when you want to wear something to a formal event but don’t want to overwhelm everyone around. This fragrance doesn’t scream, it whispers. There isn’t any loud sillage with this one and remains soft and subtle but pleasant in its aura.

Sort of like a light version of Cereus #7 (this is a little fruity at first, but if there is violet it’s considerably weaker). Eventually, you get a leathery/woody quality, but if you are sensitive to aroma chemicals that have been used a lot in recent “masculine” scents you might not like this one. Overall, it’s certainly “okay,” but the problem for me is that I don’t see how this one fits into my rotation. I already have Cereus #7 and I’m not a big fan of that one in any case. When I think I want to wear a leather scent, I think of reaching for The Knize Ten or several others, but I don’t see myself wanting to wear this one instead of them.

Absolutely pleasantly surprised by this one. I blind bought it for $10 on eBay after reading all of your recommendations. I have quite a few leather fragrances that are either heavy with the aldehydes (they often turn me off) or have monster sillage. Although the blast of leather at the beginning of Style is quite strong, the fragrance overall is subtle and would do well as an office scent.
I am amazed leather is not a note used in this fragrance… That’s basically all I smell upfront. Could it be the teak and thuya wood combining to create something like a leather aroma?

Fresh citrus, mild spice and a woody finish. Not Chanel or Burberry, but not quite down with the Old Spice either.
The simple fact is that the fragrance hides itself from the wearer quite quickly to leave an odour that is not always pleasing, but to others smelling it afresh is fine. Somewhere in production the recipe needs a tweak and I am reasonably sure that such will occur.
Is it worth the RRP? Not a chance. £10 for 50ml or £18 for 100ml is a fair price based on current recipe.

As a student with a penchant for olfactory exploration, I’m rather partial to splashing out a tenner or so on a blind-buy, just to see what it’s like. So far, some of these throwaway purchases have pleased me – Quorum and Giorgio Beverly Hills Red for Men jump to mind. Canali Style, however, was not one of them. I got Canali Style very, very cheap at about £6 for a 50ml, and for that price, wasn’t expecting much more than a glorified deodorant, “Lynx with a label”. However, I was still disappointed. Canali Style is quite a sweet fragrance, and the Bergamot is instantly apparent. What’s also present, is an awful synthetic smell. The smell doesn’t really evolve on your skin – at all – and really does smell more like air freshener than fragrance. Probably the only time I’ve ever bought a fragrance, put it on, and been very glad that the sillage and longevity are poor.

    Bought this purely on price.
My vife is in love with the smell. Not eveyone’s cup of tea though.
I would rate it 7 out of 10.
Would I buy it agaian? Yes, if the price is £7 for 50ml. No if it’s £25

Not bad for a less expensive cologne but nothing special. You can always smell pure leather and woods on this one.

The gorgeous Piazza Della Repubblica in Rome with its fountain of the Naiads at its circular center is iconic. The circle of the Piazza is built on the echo of what once stood there, the circular center room of the gigantic baths of Diocletian. Here is where the elite of the Palatine hill mingled with the hoi polloi of the Subura in the ancient splendor of the imperial city. On the east side of the Piazza is the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri designed by Michelangelo which stands in the midst of the remaining ruins of the baths. What few visitors realize is that the building was not designed by Michelangelo but rather restored. In fact when you are in this basilica you are actually standing inside a wing of the ancient bathhouse. When you realize this it is an overwhelming sight that transports you back to the glories of the ancient city.
Across from the Church on this glamorous Piazza stands the hotel Excedra a Boscolo, a 19th century semi-circular portico lined edifice that just captivates the onlooker. I am so reminded of this building in the magnificent shape of the bottle design for Canali Style, an elegant classically inspired design which echoes the shape of this building. Here at the summit of the Viminal Hill with the wildly exciting traffic of Rome whirling madly around it the piazza is a vibrant part of the ancient yet modern capital.
Canali Style carries much of this excitement and vibrancy within the juice captured in this beauty of a bottle. The sophistication of the blending of clementine, pineapple and bergamot give the opening a very interesting beginning. At its heart is jasmine and orange blossom, I had my fist blood orange in Rome and this lovely note took me back to the Farnese Gardens where you can actually smell real jasmine and blood orange blossoms in the Roman spring. This loveliness last quite a while and then in the dry down there are rich spicy notes with nutmeg and coriander and a peppery hint as well as some woody aromas. Like the rich smell of the umbrella pines at the eastern end of the Palatine hill after a rain storm. It really is delicious! It smells very expensive to me and very Roman, with its blending of flowers and food aromas, much like the city itself which assaults the nose with just such aromatic notes. Roman life is in the streets where high style and la dolce vita della via meet so perfectly.
I have to thank my buddy Nikosculpture from Greece for telling me about this exciting hidden treasure from Italy. The best part is that it is so reasonably priced proving that in the world of perfume you don’t always have to pay top dollar to smell like a million bucks!
    5 gold stars *****

    Canali style,
I actually just bought this fragrance today when i was with my girlfreind, it was another blind buy, its a huuuuge bottle so i was like what the heck its only 20 bucks for a 100ml bottle, im going to describe this fragrance as much as i can, and i cant do longevity because i just got it today, and this is my first initial impression,
okay the sprayer on this fragrance is amazing, its the perfect spray! alright when i smell this its actually different because i thought this was going to be soapy, but its more of a leather jacket with almost like a grassy green kind of scent mixed together.
If i was putting this in a short story all i would say about this is a leather jacket laying on green grass but with bergamot in the pockets. and its around some trees because i am getting kind of a woody vibe to it too.

Ammonium. Drydown is like mix of Burberry “Men” (classic green outdated) and something greeny-minty from Armani. Untill that drydown You will have to smell PURE AMMONIUM. I tried it today to my hand (in expansive shop), and after 10 minutes had to put my hand into snow just on the street – to wash my hand from it.
    Something wrong with its chemistry.
    Bottle is good.
