Bought this on a whim at Perfumania when it was on clearance. I am kind of split down the middle over this. One thing is for certain-it has not a thing in common with the heavy hitters it has been put in the same category with.
Ceasar’s Goddess is very light and transparent. I find the notes hitting the high register, as if I am missing out on whole aspects that I am not able to pick up with my sense of smell. I get a strange pencil-shaving accord on the opening from the green apple and wood notes. I don’t get anything dramatic in development. Not a rich and lasting scent to my nose. Best way to describe this-very dry like a bubbly white wine. I am undecided if I would buy this again. I suppose I might If it grew on me.

This perfume is not as heavy as the original. I know, I own them both. The original is the matron of the family that you respect and fear. It grows on you slowly. Goddess is your favorite aunt that has a mysterious side, but is always approachable. Goddess is much more approachable to the masses than the original Caesar’s Woman. It is musky and rich and will linger all day. It works for me; I have one of those chemistrys that prefers strong scents. I do get some sandalwood and tonka bean from this, and maybe apple and lily if I think about it. Mostly I think of Vegas when I smell this, and it always makes me smile.

This is noting like the original but more spring flower type of scent. I was surprised that it did not smell like the original at all. It leans more towards the Miss Boucheron type of smell-very floral. It is not an original type of scent at all, I was very disappointed in the non original style of this scent, but is is pleasant.

Could someone rate this please? I love the original, so if this edition has the same quality, I would probably love it too!!
