First of all, I bought this perfume based on the reviews here! Spent 65$ (Perfume was on sale, so not 120$ as the full store price) and I was very excited to smell it! Was I ever so disappointed? There is NO LEATHER in it (the main reason I bought it!). Even “incredible things” of Taylor Swift has a lot more leather than this …C. Perfum smells “blah” borderline “my grandpa shaving cream” that he was using 20 years ago….and this is the nicest thing I could say about this perfume! I could see this worn by a 70 years old lady and I don’t mean a sophisticated one. Save yourself the time and money, NOT worth it! Plus, thank God the smell stayed on only for about 2 hours, then it completely disappeared from my hand.

“C” by Marie Saint Pierre is a very well done smoky yet fresh leather scent with unfortunate staying power (2-3 hours).
I was very surprised upon first smelling “C”, the composition of fresh neroli and smoky birch was truly beautiful, when it was joined by smooth, slightly oily leather I was completely hooked, everything simply smells so WELL DONE, that I was surprised it doesn’t get a bit more love from the fragrance wearing crowd.
If it wouldn’t be for the lack of staying power, I’d recommend this to everyone who wishes to find a safe and feminine leather scent for everyday use.

I never thought I would stumble upon such a masterpiece at Sephora.
It is gorgeous and I am in olfactory love. I got a decant from the nice Sephora employee and have been spraying maniacally ever since.
It is about leather. About the softest, dreamiest leather… Oh so good. I never smelled birch before, but I definitely get a delicate wood smell. And then there is just a suggestion of musk and something floral. It is like a whisper that softly sings harmony in the background.
It is soft and lingering to the skin without a hint of sweetness. Calm, meditative, yet somehow warm and enveloping. Pure magnificence.
Update: I became so obsessed with C that I just had to purchase it. Done! I am now bathing in velvety soft heaven…

First impressions from the sephora store: blast of fresh grape juice and leather
The frag is fresh and aqueous at first then it gets softer and more airy. Subtle spiced smoked d leather.
