Opus Oils-Burlesque-Charm is a vintage Floral Fruity Gourmand scent!
This oil Perfume is really natural and rich but not overwhelming, you smell how valuable it is.
The Opening of Charm is really fruity and spicy and also cozy. I smell the combination of berries and sage and you can smell the vanilla only in the background. For me it’s not such a Gourmand scent it’s more a clean scent i smell mostly berries and sage, tea. A oil perfume smells different than a alcohol perfume, so you can not compare it with a normal Floral Fruity scent. I like oil perfumes cause they smell really natural and comfortable. This scent is really feminine and cute and ,mature for a charming Woman.
Charm is a Vintage perfume but i think it’s easy to like this scent.I would recommend to test it before buying it, so you can see which scent suits you the best. Charm is one of the scent’s from the Burlesque line which is like the most but the Longevity is not so good.

I’m not very fond of oils in general but this one is quite allright although as i have sampled some other opus in alcohol , i feel that the oils are inferior. Still this one works nice with vanilla and a faint blac tea slightly dry smoky note and sage. For better or worse i don’t get anything fruity or floral but it’s fine with me.

A very light and lovely fragrance. I am enjoying the blackberry and sage tea combination. A nice change from the ordinary.

I was really excited for the opportunity to sample this fragrance. Thank you so much libertybelle!
A really intriguing blend of oils. I can detect all of the notes listed, predominantly blackberry and sage.
The fruit is very clear and ripe; sage gives it an earthy quality and in combination with star anise, almost medicinal–slightly, which works because it gives it a clean opulence.
The addition of tea and coconut give Charm a lush, velvet roundness that feels almost soapy, adding to the vaudeville appeal.
This fragrance doesn’t transform like most as it is oil based (fractionated coconut without the addition of alcohol) where the notes don’t evaporate at vastly different rates on the skin. From start to finish, you experience everything in this little concoction which has really fantastic projection.
All in all, a great composition for a natural fragrance (which tend to be pretty linear)–complex and intriguing, playful and charming with a vintage resonance that honors the Burlesque image.
Although this scent is not quite my style, experiencing it has piqued enough curiosity to try Opus’ other lines, and especially with being 100% natural.
PS: It feels luscious and healthful on the skin and claims that it won’t stain fabric.
