After an envol of violette, it turns into a bar of coffe chocolate. That smell/taste. Leaves of Vanilla..

This is the one scent from Cale Fragranze d’Autore I couldn’t fully enjoy.
The scent itself seemed a bit forced for me and the fact that it stays so close to skin and fades within 3 hours made it even worse to justify ever having a bottle.
“Brezza di Seta” opened with violet leaf – sugary, but watered down, perfectly breezy, BUT soon it was joined by something moldy, musty and old smelling (imagine wet clothes being left in a sports bag and then discovered few days later). That’s what I’m getting from “Brezza di Seta”. It does get better when the marine notes appear some hour in the scents development as then it just smells like sweaty bodies after a swim in the sea, but apart from that I couldn’t find anything that would work for me in this scent.
Even though it’s supposed to be floral and feminine, I find this to be purely unisex, any man who is not afraid of some flowers and sweetly ozonic scents could wear it easily.

I really can’t understand why I love this perfume. I have always tried to stay miles away from violet leafs, lavender and strong patchouli notes. But in this wonderful formula all I can smell is just a superb mixed spicy-nutty-fruity-sweet upplifting and warming wonderbrew! I have had this decant laying in a drawer together with a lot of others I didn’t like for over a year at least, but then I started a new trick to make myself use them. I blindtest them without reading on the label and try to figure out the notes in order not to be prejudiced an with the knowledge of olfactory senses ability to change. And what I am experience know is so strange! This is really a wellblended and balanced floral friend that i gladly recommend you to enjoy. Here I sit writing this on a rainy summer day with really very much urgent things to do and suddenly the sky seams to lighten up thanks to this little beauty. So grateful!

Aptly named BREZZA DI SETA is a very appealing floral perfume with a somewhat powdery, lightly woody drydown. The opening reminds me of BVLGARI POUR FEMME, with the rose and violets especially mingling together. I do not detect any lavender here, but maybe it all works together synthetically, as in every skillful blend which shrouds its notes in mystery.
To my nose, this is a gorgeous creation with a glistening resinous quality especially in the opening moments. The wood, which emerges subsequently, smells to me like finely powdered cedar (not vetiver), but it adds depth and texture. I find the drydown of this composition vaguely reminiscent of Creed LOVE IN BLACK, what with the powdery wood and violets and all…
Although BREZZA DI SETA may not be the most original perfume to have been launched in recent history, it really does smell wonderful. I am of the opinion that sometimes different perfumers create apparently similar creations not because they are copying each other but because a good idea is a good idea, and a splendid scent is a splendid scent!
I do think that this naturally sweet-smelling flowery and powdery perfume is best suited for women. The longevity is excellent and the sillage medium.

This is the only one of the Cale line that is aimed solely at women, but having tried all of their scents I can assure you their marketing is not a bible to go by! Many of their unisex frags are really only suitable for either males or females, so don’t pay much attention to what they say about the frags in terms of that. This is very POWDERY!! It reminds me of a fresh load of washing that has just come out of the dryer, warm smooth and powdery, somehow from the cotton garments. LOL hope that makes sense guys! To be honest I cannot really smell all the different notes as above that are supposed to be in here. And I always dissect frags to match what I smell with what is meant to be in here but this is just one full on powdery melange, it is strong but it is also a very smooth blend. I originally thought I would not buy it but now, Im reconsidering, I find it to be quite unique, and different to anything Ive smelt. And maybe just for that reason, ill someday get myself a full bottle.
