PlearlAlierce – :
My apologies to the reviewer below, @glitteralex, but this fragrance is Bouquet de Gardenia. I believe that you are reviewing a different fragrance (likely the now discontinued Perlier Nature’s One Gardenia), as that came in an alcohol free version, and this one does not (also not to be confused with a different Elariia/Perlier Gardenia EDT from the early 2000’s).
The Bouquet de Gardenia is not a a gardenia soliflore but one where gardenia is at the center surrounded by many other florals with a large dose of greenery. In fact, if you are expecting a strong punch of gardenia, you might actually be disappointed, although this is a very beautifully blended fragrance. I do not detect any tuberose in this one at all, nor is this animalic (in my opinion), as the Fragrantica Main Accords words state.
In the US you may have a tough time finding the EDT in this, but HSN has recently launched the bath & body line, so perhaps they will will bring the spray back soon.
UPDATE: one day later and tried the hand cream that was recently launched and has much more gardenia than the EDT. Just an fyi for those shopping.
Шона – :
This review is for the alcohol free version, which is actually in a light oil base.
This is an old-fashioned skanky tuberose-gardenia, with a musk base and a bit of a plasticized feel. More rich and creamy than sweet, with a natural feeling spicy vibe.. Fairly linear, with modest sillage, and excellent longevity.
A good substitute for some of the discontinued older animalic gardenias like Jungle Gardenia, Mary Chess Gardenia, etc.
