I compared Bombshell and Bombshell Seduction side by side and they smell completely different. Bombshell is way sweeter and fruitier. Seduction is so much more floral. Like straight tuberose. Both are beautiful.

This is a great version of the original bombshell. Bombshell seduction is more Floral than the original and I love the herbal note from the sage that I pick up right away. I feel like I’m in a garden. Amazing fragrance for being made by Victoria’s Secret.

I can really smell the sage and grapefruit. It lasts all day and the body lotion to this is so nice to layer with.

This is the first time I enjoy VS perfume. What a lovely scent!
First of all it’s different, crystal clear, sparkling and fresh with distant echo of original Bombshell. This is finally feminine and pretty Bombshell, reserved in seduction. You can wear to school or work.
The second the most appealing factor – it lasts ! The only one VS perfume that lasts all day, unbelievable.

I have used the original bombshell for years and usually don’t pay much attention to the flankers since they are all so similar. This is the first flanker I really like. They are similar but different enough to be worth buying. The box lists sage and tuberose as notes. If I think about it I can kind of smell them but the presence is subtle. Staying power is good for a VS fragrance. Lasts most of the day. I would wear this spring though fall.
The bottle is nicer looking than the original hot pink. I just might prefer this one over the original. I will be buying a backup!

I really like this. But, yes…it’s just another bombshell. A fruitier bombshell. Like original bombshell, this also lasts on my skin 7+ hours which I love. Oh, and the bottle is very cute

Ridiculous how this smells like the original yet they share no notes

Adore this! I was skeptical when I saw it was listed as an Oriental Floral; I don’t like most spicy frags. But Bombshell Seduction is soft and warm on me. Initial spray is a bit reminiscent of original Bombshell, but that one on me is mostly passionfruit and has a vibrant tartness to it.
Bombshell Seduction lacks that initial sharpness and goes straight into the dry down, which is cozy, simple, and elegant. It isn’t very complex or interesting, but it’s pleasant and a good every day fragrance for spring. Actually, it reminds me of something a young, upper-middle class new mother would wear to take her infant to the park on a sunny day (if that makes any sense!).

This is Bombshell, altered slightly. The only difference I noticed that it is more floral. I was hoping the top notes would change after a bit of wearing time, but they just stayed the same and then the scent dissipated.
That’s peculiar that some reviewers claim that it’s totally different while others are saying it’s too similar to Bombshell. That’s something you don’t see too often in reviews. I don’t think it’s chemistry, because I sprayed the paper card first and smelled it. I am intimately familiar with the original Bombshell. I have been buying Bombshell products for years, and I sometimes sell the Bombshell products.
To quote a previous review, it is just not different enough to be called its own perfume. There is no reason to buy Bombshell Seduction 2018 if you own the original Bombshell (unless you collect the Bombshell line of fragrances). The original has very good longevity. A few sprays will last most of the day. In contrast, Bombshell Seduction wore off pretty fast. After I left the store, I could not smell it on my skin, and I could barely even smell it on the card.
They recently released Bombshell Shanghai, which was just Bombshell in a hot pink bottle. VS did note that it was the original Bombshell fragrance, but the advertisements were vague enough to be misleading. Now they take Bombshell, add a drop of difference, and market it as new. 🙁
P.S. It’s also disappointing they keep using the same names for different fragrances every few years. English has the most words out of any language — you’d think a brand of that stature would be able to flip through a dictionary or something to sell their new product, to differentiate it. It confuses customers. I can think of ten new names for Bombshells off the top of my head.
All in all, Bombshell is a nice fragrance, therefore this scent is nice, too, because is they’re basically the same. However, longevity is poor for Seduction, and it’s not really something new.

I really like the smell of this & no its not just Bombshell. Its very different. I own both right now. A very pretty well done tuberose. Not sharp or nose blinding as some with tuberose can be. The only issue for me is longevity. Bombshell lasts all day on me. This one im only getting about 3 hours. Its still a very lovely scent.

This smells identical to the passionflower body oil that they had not too long ago. It’s super light & airy. No wow factor, but definitely a pleasant day time, office scent

This is the kind of white floral fragrance that I like: the freshest and yet the lightest tuberose. The sage actually works here to tone the sweetness of the tuberose down and then the musk does its best trick. This version to me is like having a fresh cut bouquet of early budding tuberose in my living room. The pyramid notes in this perfume are very interesting as every note actually lasts to the end and supports each other as an orchestra. I can faintly detect any similarity from its original Bombshell mother. The tuberose just lingers and lingers and…Ugh…I’m stuck with words and can’t describe it further. I LOVE it!
The bottom line is that: YES, big thumb up from me, one of the lightest, freshest (without ANY “chemical”), best tuberose/white floral fragrances that I have ever tested. I should have grabbed two big size bottles instead of just one, as I found them online brand new for $35/each (with free shipping). Don’t ask 🙂
I’m willing to pay full price for perfume like this one, which rarely happened to my collecting style 🙂 It is absolutely different and stands out by itself in this Bombshell line, as I have owned many Bombshell versions/flankers so I can compare them all.

I am really enjoying this version of Bombshell. As soon as I saw that the notes included Tuberose and musk, I had to try it out. I tried to like the original Bombshell but I do not. i don’t hate it but I can’t get there to even tolerate it. However, I like versions of “Summer” and “Paris” and now “Seduction”. I can certainly see buying a back-up of this. When I first sprayed it, I did notice a hint of the original Bombshell that quickly transformed into something alluring to my senses. The more I spray, the less I notice “Bombshell” and more “Seduction”.

I LOVE this scent. I am not a huge fan of the original Bombshell, and to me, this version is more floral, fresh, and wearable. It definitely has similarities to the original, but it’s redone in a softer fresher way. This is perfect for the upcoming spring and summer months, and it lasts a very long time on the skin. Give it a try!

If you are looking for tuberose, please move on.. This is Bombshell.. If there are any differences, they are not significant enough to call this a “new” perfume. Paris was different.. The winter one from a couple of years ago was different enough.. This one is just Bombshell, but tweaked a tiny amount. If you own Bombshell, please try before buying.

I had bad luck with Jo Malone Tuberose & Angelica Cologne Intense. I love the tuberose in Woman by Ralph Laurent. I did not like the strong and sharp grapefruit/citrus scent in some previous VS Bombshells as it made me sneeze like crazy.
Definitely will spray test this one when it is available in my local VS store, although I’m not sure about the sage in it (I “hate” the Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt Cologne. Hopefully this is the different kind of sage).
