Deidara_Tsukuri – :
Generally, Molinard exemplifies the tasteful use of synthetics, using only enough to boost their excellent quality natual materials. Bois Fleuri, laden with high pitched Freesia, Orange Blossom, and Jasmine (henceforth referred to as “The White Flowers”), could have stood well enough alone without the heavy hand of aldehydes Molinard dumped in. Thus, the opening feels very synthesized, almost uncomfortable. Even as the aldehydes phase out, the Apricot is barely noticeable- a pity, beacuse had it been dosed better, a ripe, rich Apricot would have tamed and enveloped TWF. The green Ivy I anticipated in the heart is another no-show, although the Cyclamen presents enough to lend a welcome liquidity to TWF. The Musk is a wimpy synthetic “white musk”, of which there is just the faintest inkling. Basically, the entire composition is a stage for TWF, with Jasmine in the lead role. As a Jasmine “soliflore” (few soliflores are actually one-note compositions), this is divine. As for being the green/musky/woody/white floral it claims to be, this misses the mark.

If you are looking for a good white flowers scent, then Bois Fleuri is a good pick. It’s far better than others (Avon Pur Blanca etc) and not so artificial.
