a strange blend of notes that all come together and mysteriously create magic.. It’s a little green in a dry way, a tad sweet, with a bit of suede and a touch of powder from the orris. it smells like the sun warmed skin of someone walking in a field of dry hay bales. A great alternative to typical warm weather scents that are fruity, or ozonic or marine. Reminds me of a greener more earthy Traversee du Bosphore

The opening is a startlingly vivid scent memory of girl scout camp; grass and outdoors and a little prickle reminiscent of bug spray. The scent settles into itself fairly quickly and smooths out into a pleasant SWEET hay. Overall, the sweetness is more than I like; it is truly sugar-y. In the late drydown the sugar itself is dominant. Opening projection is large but that same settling of the scent brings it down to skin. It provides a solid skin scent for about 6 hours.

Fresh and clean and light. It really does smell like sweet grass on me, and reminds me so much of being outside in the summertime. I like this a lot for daytime wear to work. It isn’t my favorite because of how unisex it is, but it really fits the bill for a pleasant, everyday kind of fresh scent that isn’t fruity.

When I first tried this scent I couldn’t believe my nostrils; it really does smell EXACTLY like sun warmed skin and sweet grassy hay. This is a perfect summer perfume and is eminently suitable for the office too, especially if yours is a more conservative type setting.

This is a really nice perfume. It totally smells like the picture and the description from Alkemia’s shop! I have also tried A Roll in the Hay perfume from Alkemia, and this has some similarities to that, but it is a little less “thick” smelling, if that makes sense! I like this one, and I may be ordering a full bottle. It is unique but wearable, and I would probably wear this in summer and in fall.

This is a stunning fragrance. It reminds me of grass and earth, very reminiscent of camping or walking in the countryside just after a rain storm. There’s a slightly minty undertone which comes out in the first few minutes and become more prominent. The dry down incorporates a hay like note. A little reminiscent of Dzing.There’s a very slight sweetness to it but nothing too overwhelming, definitely unisex.

Beautiful and absolutely worth sampling if you’re new to Alkemia. A very gentle, sunny perfume, unique and innocent, and never thick or heavy. Musky and sweet, keeping it from being too powdery or dry, like the countryside in the summer, warm skin with the scent of sunscreen after you’ve gone for a swim in the lake. Summery and nostalgic, warm and comforting while smelling exquisitely earthy with hay notes and orris root.
Also, it has a similar sweetness to Madam X, except the violets are prominent in Madam X and not in this.

This scent is like pure sunshine. Dry hay, warm leather and powdery orris predominate. Despite the pastoral notes, it’s quite sophisticated, beautifully blended and chic. You could easily wear this to the office or on a date, or any time you just want to boost your mood.
Raptor – :
Alkemia perfumes are wonderful. It is both a blessing and a curse that they have a large collection, so often I find that you may need to try a few before you find some that suit you. Nevertheless I do believe they have something for everyone. BeV is a wonderful summery scent that isn’t your typical fresh/ozonic fruity. The main notes I detect are grass and a naturally slightly sweet hay. It’s very pastoral – it feels like something you would wear for a day out in the countryside on a sunny day.
