Being a fan of vintage and classic perfumes, I was curious about some of the fragrances that smelled like candy, but not enough to buy a full bottle of anything. This is a good cotton candy fragrance. It has decent staying power too. It’s less complex than other cotton candy scents keeping it true to its name. It has a raspberry note too which works well. It smells most similar to Prince Matchabelli, so if you’re looking for a replacement this is close. It is nice to layer with other fragrances as well. It is an artificial fragrance so keep that in mind, it’s not like Pink Sugar, a higher end fragrance. Fun and a great bargain.

I bought a little bottle of Love’s Baby Soft, but the one I purchased had a sharp, strong chemical scent – old stock, perhaps? Then I stumbled across a lady on YouTube telling about this fragrance. It took some doing to find it, but when I did I was thrilled! Most perfumes can react with a really chemical smell on my skin, but this one smells exactly like it does in the bottle. Please do not let the price tag detour you from this scent if you love sweet scents. I own perfumes such as Viva la Juicy that are over a hundred dollars and none hold a candle to this body spray. I’m a bit disappointed in this one, I thought I was going to love it, unfortunately I didn’t. It’s not a bad perfume it’s just not what I was expecting.
To me, this is mostly strawberry with a hint of cotton candy. If I had to describe the cotton candy, in my opinion I wouldn’t say it’s like Pink Sugar. Pink sugar to me is like walking in the dark at a carnival while I get a whiff of the hot cotton candy being made. This, in my nose at least, is more like buying the cotton candy that’s already been wrapped in plastic at a concession stand. It’s still yummy and delicious but not warm and fresh.
As I said before, the scent really is good, but for my specific taste it’s not sweet enough but really kind of cold and fruity.

I’m afraid they’re going to discontinue this fragrance – it’s getting harder to find, so I’m happy I have a backup! It’s amazing. You can clearly smell the raspberry and strawberry over the sweet fluffy cotton candy and a wisp of vanilla musk. It doesn’t last, of course, but as we know, fragrance will last better on clothing. This is such a sweet little cute and delicious body spray. It’s pure cotton candy and smells like if you were ever the kind of kid or knew a kid that would unfortunately eat those big cotton candy from amusement parks and carnival/fairs that were so big they took all day to eat it and it stuck to their hair or fingers. That sweet sticky smell? Yeah you remember that don’t you. Well this is the perfume version of that. It’s so cool how they managed to recreate that smell! There’s a lot of vanilla in this so if you’re concerned for this being too much of a one-note cotton candy scent you’re wrong. It’s got other layers. It has a delicious vanilla, it has sweet strawberry and raspberry. I could smell each of the notes except the musk. If there is musk it just didn’t want to come out for me. It’s a light airy scent and smells great in the air as well. I like to wear this for the nostalgia. It’s great to scent your pillows with and not really much of a perfume, more of a body mist. It doesn’t have as much longevity as I’d like it to have but it’s fun to smell while it lasts. This is sweet and very detectable to others. I like to wear this only in front of children. I perform in children’s birthday parties in different get ups and costumes like Disney characters Tinker Bell Princess Aurora Elsa from Frozen, Alice in Wonderland, Minnie Mouse, etc. This is the scent I wear when I’m Minnie Mouse. This is exactly how I feel she smells like. Children love to hug me when they smell this on me. They ask me if I have cotton candy to give them LOL I say no I don’t have any it’s just my perfume but you can smell it anytime you like. Kids love this stuff. This was the number one scent for me back in middleschool. This is a compliment getter, this makes people want to sit by you, stand by you, be near you.. Even over my other expensive fragrances back then, this reigned supreme in the compliment department. Strangers will tell you you smell so good or that you smell like cotton candy.
I will always love this cheap little fragrance. For long lasting version, skip pink sugar, go straight to Gale hayman delicious cotton candy. Slightly cheaper then PS without that PS citrus and burnt licorice note.

Wears very close to the skin and has a lovely sweet fruity flavour which dries down to a delicious vanilla cotton candy.
I find you have to spray it on a few times before you get out the door to get the perfume to last for any length of time.
Hence the explosion my son was talking about, I think I was floating on a cloud of fairy floss for a while there.
But……
It’s cheap, it feels cool and refreshing on the skin and smells a treat.

So I got this today and immediately wore it after a shower, went to college wearing it, and still wearing it at home right now.
At first I was worried because it smelled nothing like cotton candy to me, but more like strawberry syrup. Actually, even after a few minutes I get a significant amount of strawberry, which is nice so I’m not complaining. Then there’s definitely cotton candy and sugar and the fruits are balancing the scent so it won’t revolve around sugar and candy.
It lasts about 2 or 3 hours, and I had to reapply a few times. It’s a big bottle and the price is quite low so why not? Sillage starts off moderate when it’s freshly sprayed for about 15 minutes. Then sits close to skin, not offending anybody. I got a compliment, surprisingly, from a very shy classmate, so that’s cool.

This perfume keeps calling to me. I have loved it ever since I was a young girl. It is by far my favorite “cheapie ” scent. Smelling it reminds me of my childhood and spraying myself down with the tester in the store (much to the displeasure of my family). I just wanted to bathe in the stuff, and I still do. And at this price, I can! This perfume is sugary sweet candy goodness. It has a slight fruity and musky smell beneath all the sugar and it dries down really mellow in my skin. I love to wear this one on top of the White Musk scent from Body Fantasies. It really enhances the muskiness and graduates it from being childish. The longevity and sillage are both pretty good in my mind, given the price. I’d say they last about 4-5 hours. And I know the sillage is about an arm’s length because people have asked me about it even when I’m not terribly close to them. It’s nothing fancy and its not terribly sophisticated, but its also not trying to be anything other than what it is. And sometimes I’m just in the mood for some light hearted fun! Life is too short not to smell like candy when the mood strikes you.

It’s called Candy Lush by a company called Concept ii. You get 8 oz for cheaper than the Body Fantasies (unbelievable). It smells exactly like Signature Cotton Candy. I can’t tell them apart. If any of you come across it, give it a try. And the packaging is cute with a picture of sugared cupcakes through the transparent purple liquid. I wish Fragrantica carried it on here.

This is my guilty pleasure scent. I will forever continue to buy it. I absolutely love it. It’s my favorite. Just pure sugary cotton candy. The longer I have this on, and the more it dries down the more it just becomes so delicious.
It makes me feel very girly and pretty. I find myself catching whiffs of it throughout the day and it really is one of those scents that just picks up my mood. I smell cotton candy with sugar and subtle hints of vanilla. I can smell the strawberries and raspberries very distinctly but all wrapped up in a sweet blanket of light musk.

Nothing fancy or sophisticated here, just a sweet playful fragrance that lasts about 8 hours and, if slightly oversprayed, gives a decent sillage that attracts men, especially heavy-set ones (if you like the heterosexual version of “bears”, perfumes that smell like cotton candy are useful) and younger men (not so much my taste there, but if you are a cougar or a young girl,go for it!).

There is a bit too much syrupy fruit in the opening but once that fades the cotton candy is note is spot on, almost to the point you can smell the crystalline quality of the spun sugar. this was my signature scent for several years. Smells just like cotton candy, very sweet smelling. I got so many compliments on this one. This is *not* the scent to wear if you want to be left alone. lol. Also men love this scent. They will ask you about it, whenever you leave the house. It’s too sweet for me nowadays. But I did love it.

When I first sprayed in the store ( I was verrrryyy excited seeing as I LOVE cotton candy ) I was dissapointed because I smelled a strong strawberry medicine scent but oohhh lorddyyy lord!! Just let it sit for about 2 seconds and it is HEAVENLY! I sprayed it on my mom and on my friends and it is a universally flattering scent and it smells magnificent.

This smells almost identical to the Parfums de Coeur Juice Bar Cotton Candy body mist that I used to love wearing in my early teens, and I like it for that reason. It’s a cute and fun, little girl kind of scent but I like to be brought back to that uncomplicated time in my life sometimes.

Smells like cotton candy!!! I love it! If you don’t like that kind of sweet smell then this isn’t for you. Those who do this is inexpensive, I got a body wash and sparay both for $5 bucks around Christmas.That was money well spent.

This is not some weird cheap sweet body spray, like 99% of the drugstore collection. When you spray this, you smell cotton candy and if you ask anyone what you smell like, they will not tell you strawberry, grape , vanilla? They will say cotton candy. Loved it over 12 years ago and still love it. The price is excellent and has the same sillage and lasting quality as bath and body works sprays. Men also love this smell.

I like this one. It smells exactly like cotton candy, which is one of my favorite sweets! And, it reminds me of amusement parks, fairs and carnivals. Good times! Of course it doesn’t last long, it’s a body spray. Besides, what does one expect for an eight ounce bottle that costs under $10.00? But, it’s still a yummy, sweet, fun fragrance.

Super cheap which is a HUUUUUUGE plus. i got 2 big bottles for $10 at walgreens.
but like everything in life, if it’s too good to be true…it obviously is. what’s the downfall? NOT long lasting at alllll. max lasting power…2 hours i give it. and that’s if you’re vegetating. therefore, you do have to carry with you the big ol’ bottle and re-apply.
that is the one and only con, but it is a big con.
what are the pros?
-AMAZING smell. not artificial at all. you smell like you just came out of a bag of strawberry cotton candy.

This is so cheap that I can’t take it seriously. But it smells delicious raspberries and cotton candy. Good choise if you want something sweet and nice that is so cheap that you don’t need to consider if you can or cannot afford to consume enormously or if you just wan’t to have something as a rainy-day reserve.

Doesn’t smell like cotton candy until the spray fully settles down which is about 1-2 hours. The lasting power is incredibly long but the yucky, strawberry, medicine smell turned me off. I brought this spray to smell like cotton candy not like disgusting, stale strawberries.

In the beginning, it smells only cheap, artificial raspberry fragrance. It changes into the actual cotton candy scent only after 1 or 2 hours.
When I know I want to smell cotton candy, I put the clothes I want to wear on my bed, and I sprayed it all over them. Then I leave the room because I don’t like the first scent at all. And a few hours later I know I can put them on and carry a nice candy fragrance with me 🙂

Insanely, unexpectedly delicious!!!
This is not like Pink Sugar to me because it doesn’t have that heavy caramelized note. It just smells like pink candy-floss with a little strawberry flavoring, and surprisingly realistic, unlike most splashes I’ve tried.
Projection is not bad either, and it’s more delicate and subtle than Pink Sugar, which can smell almost smothering if you haven’t developed a high tolerance for it. This means you’re less likely to offend people.
VERY impressed considering how little a huge 8 oz bottle costs!

this is delicious. really. it’s faintly like Pink Sugar, but more than anything else, it’s like grape Kool-Aid powder, but sweeter. or the bubbles in grape soda. it does eventually settle into more of a cotton candy sort of scent, but it could easily be called Grape Soda.
i really like it, though. it’s definitely a fun scent, though, it’s not a serious perfume. and y’know? that’s ok!

love this, you can layer this with anything and you will smell good…it doesn’t last but goes more closer to the skin but who cares this stuff is cheap to buy and has an awesome smell…it is definately a very sweet cotton candy smell the best if you ask me and you can also smell grape mixed into it…love it!
