Description
If you like perfumes with shiny, clear and provocative scent of jasmine, this is a true fragrance for you. Perfumer Steve de Mercado and Marc Jacobs himself designed this perfume, combining clear and clean jasmine accords with mysterious and delicate musk. It opens with dominant sweet – floral jasmine note, along with fresh petals, jasmine juice and vine. The heart adds up with intensive and splendid notes of Moroccan jasmine and orange blossom, settling at the velvety base of white cashmere, sensual pink musk and warm milky and powdery sandalwood. “Blush Intense is a perfume for all the women who doesn’t want to stay in the shadow and be unnoticeable”- said MJ. It is available as 50 and 100 ml EDP. Blush Intense was launched in 2006.

I recently bought a sample vial of Blush Intense from eBay. At first, I was unsure, it’s a very indolic jasmine to my nose. And lots of it. I am a big lover of jasmine though and I’ve really come to appreciate, enjoy and even love this scent.
At first spray, it was a soft yet strong wisp of dirty jasmine. Not like that in Calvin Klein Beauty or Estee Lauder Modern Muse. Very true, natural and almost rotten jasmine…the indoles. After a while though, the soft woods arrive and calm it down and the musk shows up on the dry down.
It’s all very well made, and after a week or so of trying it when the mood takes me, I’ve concluded that the name is very fitting. It’s a sweet, ripe and musky jasmine with smooth, warm woods. Not bad lasting power, quietly potent and probably best worn on spring/summer evenings.
It’s really quite beautiful and I could see men enjoying smelling it on their ladies. It’s a real shame it’s been discontinued. If your a fan of jasmine, or gravitate to the floral woody musk category (even though it’s described as just “floral” here) snap it up – you might find hidden treasure in Blush Intense.

Warm scent of sandalwood with jasmine undertones. It’s beautifully blended, and thanks to cashmere wood jasmine is not overpowering. It is different to majority of scents including jasmine- Blush Intense is neither sweet and cloying nor dark and mysterious.
Comforting, unique woody-floral.
If you’re a fan of Hermes Eau de Merveilles AND you love jasmine try Blush Intense.
Staying power isn’t impressive so I spray it after massaging unscented almond oil onto my skin, it helps to keep the scent for at least 6 hours.

I find that Blush lasts for a long time on my skin. I love the warmth of the sandalwood and find that when my skin warms up, the aroma becomes far more prevalent. Gorgeous!! I’d go so far as to say that it’s bordering on being a floral fruity gourmand.

No particular difference between Blush and Blush Intense.
BI is a great crispy floral perfume, it blends perfectly with my skin and makes a great fragrance in hot weather!
White florals (strong jasmine note) with a green twist, calming woods and soothing musky base…
Love it!
If you like Blush, you will definitely love Blush Intense.
A must have for spring and summer!
Good lasting power and silage, a quality you would expect from Jacobs 🙂

I like this scent but it is too light and the scent fades fast.
