Fragrance Review For Blood
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab
Notes
Cherry
Cloves
Myrrh
Resins
Diabetic Dragon Blood!
If Dracula wanted something sweet to drink, he’d suck on whomever is filled with this delicious cherry cordial.
First, a scent of red cherries emerge, and something akin to red currant. It’s sweet but not too sweet nor cloying, or sugary.
The cherry flavor is unusual for the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab line however.
I found it very pleasant, and though not as Goth as I like my perfumes for Halloween, it’s still quite nice.
The resins, myrrh and cloves are not strong at all.
It would have been something if it developed into an olibanum or incense, which might have given it an Arabic Middle Eastern edge, but it’s mostly warm dark cloves and spices.
Masculine/unisex, a fragrance for both sexes to wear as a pleasant sweet blood scent on your skin for Halloween or to socialize with your Goth subculture pals.
I would say that while I wish it could smell like actual blood- which does have a scent- it’s incredibly hard to recreate.
I think that even Les Secretions Magnifiques by Etat Libre D’Orange did a superior job of recreating the scent of blood.
This is a sweet blood, like a child with hemophilia.

LAB’S DESCRIPTION
“A vital, bold scent, throbbing with sensuality. Essence of dragon’s blood resin, thickened with myrrh and cherry, with a trickle of clove.”
Well…… Lovely!
In the imp and when first applied it’s Cherry Cherry Cherry with a bit of Dragon’s blood and the smallest hint of clove, I don’t smell myrrh at all.
The cherry Dissapears really really quickly for me, shame, but it doesn’t go completley, it leaves behind a tiny bit of sweetness but not too much. What’s left is a really nice soft, sweet version of Dragon’s blood, Still no myrrh and the clove has gone now too!
It’s really nice, but wouldn’t say it’s my favourite Dragons Blood blend.
