Oh my goodness this is so funny! This reminds me so much of Key West! Everywhere you go is historical things about the Pirates, and also Key Lime-aid and Key Lime everything. 🙂 I would love to try this! Key Lime is a fave desert! Sounds Yummy 🙂

A simplistic scent true to its notes: sweet lime. Its nice & citrus-like without smelling like a floor cleaner. Minimal sillage & after 4 hours I have the faintest scent on my skin.

Blimy Limey! is very true to its group and the notes here. Yam!
As soon as I applied the oil to my skin, a burst of citrusy lime-y scent welcomes me, and it is so refreshing; along with it is the sweet sugar, however, unlike some sweet sugar notes from some celebrity’s perfumes which makes me feel as if I was inhaling sugar, the solid sugar, in; the sugar here makes me feel as if I was having a citrusy lolly in my mouth, I can smell the sweetness, in a really natural and pleasant way. Somehow the perfume transports me to my childhood and those so-called lemon lollies immediately when I put the perfume on.
Then the perfume goes a bit weird, at one moment, it smells perfectly fine and just like slightly watered-down version of the start, then another moment, a trace of creamy slightly vanilla-y note would dance around, then something really weird, like the animalistic,Muscs Koublai Khan by Serge Luten’s smell would emerge every now and then. I guess it’s when the musk comes to play, intensively.
Similar to some of the Anya’s Garden perfume oil, dries down to some kinda of stale essential oil smell, but somehow it’s good and it is true to the notes, just calmer, and well mixed.
Love the start and momentarily the dry down of Blimy Limey, but generally speaking even though I admire how the perfume can achieve some scent-effect, the mid stage is a drag to me, especially if you are not that comfortable with the ‘skanky cat-pee acidic’ musky smell, and in my case I guess I wouldn’t like it at least for several year from now.

Exactly as described: “fresh lime juice taken with a shaker of sugar.” I’m not getting any of the “salty musk” until the far drydown, about 3-4 hours after application. Even then, it’s pretty mild. When I first smelled this in the little vial, I thought, “Oh great, shaving cream.” But once dabbed on, it really opens up into pure and true lime, juice without any pulp or peel and is very sweet and nice. It’s sort of like limeade but more…lime-y? Fresher? I don’t LOVE it, but I like it a lot.
