This dries down okay, but in the beginning all I get is celery. Don’t know if it’s the old or new formula? Yuck.

The best of Bijan. I enjoy the thickly spiced original in cold weather but this bittersweet gem is perfect for high temps and even high humidity.
Petitgrain and bergamot are the stars with magnolia and violet leaf lending a hand to give this a very natural, outdoorsy feeling. The slightly sour herbal edge is softened and sweetened by rose, amber and vanilla but even so, the fragrance wafts back and forth between sweet and tangy/bitter. There’s the smell of sunshine in a garden where the plants are moving gently in a summer breeze.
Powerful for the first 20 minutes as if you might have overapplied but it calms down to a soft, enveloping bubble of moderate sillage and longevity. In short, noticeable but in no way overwhelming.
Reasonably priced so grab a bottle to wear now and into the summer. You won’t regret it.

OK, so I agree that the opening for this frag is a little harsh; at first you can smell a woody, spicy strong, old fashion smell…then as it develops it leaves you with a classic, elegant very strong flowery scent. I think is for evening wear since it’s a strong frag…not for everyone. But still, although not a favorite, I’ll still use to go out to a party or for a night out with friends.

This smells nothing like the original NASTY STUFF! I didn’t like this at first but Im always willing to give anything one try. At first it was just to spicy and woodsy almost masculine but then it dries down to a nice sweet oriental scent and keeps my nose satisfied with what was left cause I got to smell this stuff all day long so it better be nice to me! The dry down is very nice to the nose. Initial shock of what comes out of the bottle at first leaves a lot to be desired but it breaks way to pretty and feminine afterwards-Thank God!
