I’ve been wearing this since 2010. It’s a sweet amber vanilla spicy scent that’s extremely alluring, sexy and seductive. A very strong sweet musky scent like Paco Rabanne Olympea without the salt.
I get tons of compliments when I wear this fragrance, mostly from men.
During one holiday season a man asked me in a Ross store where did I get this fragrance. I showed him the box on the fragrance shelf, he immediately grabbed it to purchase as a gift for his wife and thanked me. Ross should have paid me commission cause I received many more compliments that day.
In my opinion, ladies, you have to know who you are … this is not a fragrance for little girls. You have to enjoy being a woman to wear this scent.
Though it’s considered to be a bit out dated, let me tell you, it can still turn a mans head! My husband loves it!

Heavy honey carnations and sweet roses.
Quite thick sweet Roses and carnations with roses of tuberose, sandalwood, & yang. It has that sweet heliotrope, with some vanilla, and hints of narcissus.
In general, this is a heavy floral with hints of sweetness and traces of woods. Nice.

I remember this fragrance from the 80’s but never owned it until now. OMG! It’s amazing! Bijan has so many notes that I absolutely love. Divine ylang ylang, honey, carnation, benzoin, and amber. It’s sweet, rich, spicy, warm, and balsamic. Like a lot of 80’s fragrances, this is a powerhouse. One or two spritzes and you’re good to go. I highly recommend this to anyone who is a fan of 80’s fragrances or oriental florals. This is a fabulous scent that you can get for a super bargain price.

An 80s oriental that is soft enough to not smell like “an 80s oriental”. A woman who I used to babysit for wore this on her date nights and it was perfect for her, a flower child turned career woman. Her house was decorated in handcrafted art from around the world, her family ate only organic foods and her demeanor was as sweet as the honey note in this perfume. I was surprised to find that Bijan was relatively inexpensive and available at drugstores. It’s a balmy summer afternoon sitting in a field of warm wildflowers, heavy with pollen. The wind blows and on the breeze you catch a waft of nag champa incense burning somewhere down the road.

Along the same lines as the 70s Halston Classic. This is Halston for the 80s.
Same vibes/overall smell but not as HUGE.
Spicy, thick, woody, well blended. Long lasting. But rather cloying/brash and cheap/dated.

I still have this, bought it maybe 20 years or more ago! It used to make me happy, the adds in my beauty mags were so fun. I rarely wear it though. Too many perfumes not enough necks and elbows!

In a review for Stetson, I wrote:
“I bought my wife Bijan for Women. This perfume smells very much like Stetson. So, that either makes Stetson a uni-sexual fragrance, or Bijan.
Want to pump up the sillage of your Stetson? Layer it with Bijan for Women.”

Meh. Would never be among my personal favorites, but at least it isn’t another powder/flower/sugar bomb.

    UPDATE:
Still totally happy in every way with Bijan Bijan. Sated would be the perfect word.
This is probably THE ONLY perfume I own which I do not question. Ive never had a second thought about if I love it or not.
Bijan is… a hip wealthy woman… young at heart… with a FANTASTIC sense of humor. She likes herself just fine. Not a jaded person. Someone who is perpetually in love with life itself. Someone who gushes over cute dogs, the everyday beauties, and babies. Quick to laugh. Sensual.
Many years ago LEVIS jeans were coveted by Europeans… because LEVIS was ONLY sold in the USA. You couldnt buy them in Europe anywhere. I know its odd… But thats the kind of feeling i get while wearing Bijan Bijan… Like I am wearing something super coveted… rare, flirty, high quality, and unusual…<3
    Original Review:
    WOW!
    HAPPY HAPPY!
I think thats what those dynamic, flamboyant, and joyful Bijan ads were ALL ABOUT.
A frivolous, jovial, happiness. Giggles with old friends… all whom are happy with themselves, comfortable in their worlds and their lives.
Comfortable in their own skin. Bijan says, “I approve of myself… I like being me. I am grateful.”
    Its ALIVENESS.
    joie de vi·vre. Exactly.
I bought this blind. I loved it immediately after the first spray. And after spraying… it was a sweet recognition… I do remember smelling this a long time ago… in the air.
I was 12 years old when this came out, and ive never really outgrown the 80’s. The 80’s is imprinted on my soul.
Ive seen the bottle for years, and i remember the ads. I think they are uniquely classy, artistic, and beautiful. The art of both the ads, as well as the bottle.
I happen to absolutely ADORE the bottle. Its a fun, whimsical piece of art. And its got such a delicious shape… fun to hold. Just a tad bit like a toy… a tiny homage to sweet babies gurgling. That innocent, sweet, silly joy.
But this darling is NOT dated. Not in the least. The only thing about her that could possibly be considered dated is the strength of this perfume. Easily remedied by being frugal with your sprays. And its so much better when its lightly sprayed, anyway.
The scent is FAR BRIGHTER than anything I own. And none of the reviews Ive read mention the BRIGHTNESS of this.
Bijan a bright sunny morning, when you’re simply happy to be alive in this world.
Its got a very faint memory encapsulated in its molecules of a new plastic toy .. Or a yummy piece of hard candy… Or a fruity taffy.
A wee bit of corn flakes cereal, too. Drizzled with honey.
But these are merely subtle suggestions. Nuances that would never register in the minds of people who pick this scent up from you. You wont smell like toys, corn flakes, or candy, wearing this, is what I mean.
There is also a SHAMPOO-like vibe. One in particular… Biolage Shampoo, my 20 year old staple shampoo. Kind of uncanny how much they remind me of one another.
But this smells expensive and wonderful.
I would not think of fall at all wearing this, but its not like it would be WRONG for fall.
Its just that I really feel sunshine and SPRING OR SUMMER in this so hugely.
I pick up the honey and flowers… But no cedar and very little spice!
A little later today, I do see the wonderful middle eastern elements, having been to Jordan… This has a “turkish delight” vibe… No vanilla, but instead rosewater, honey, pistachio and orange… Wow, so very cool!
I will update as I wear this more this week.

As a guy I prefer this to the men’s version. It reminds me a little of vintage Stetson for Men and it just flat out smells wonderful in the Fall/Winter. I highly recommend giving it a whirl, although I would add that on me this is a 2-3 sprays max scent, any more than that and it gets too sweet.

I have been searching for a perfume like this for quite some time. I don’t like super sugary sweet, cloying scents or clean/fresh scents. I like a warmth and richness in a perfume. I have spent a lot on expensive perfumes but never could quite find THE one. Until I found Bijan.
I had not tested it beforehand, trusting the notes and reviews detailed here. I already knew I was going to love it.
And goodness, words cannot even begin to describe how much I adore this perfume. I’ve abandoned all my other perfumes and have only been wearing this ever since I purchased it.
Bijan is everything I ever wanted in a perfume. It opens with a complex blend of citrus/floral. It’s a bit strong at first but slowly fades into warm, sweet (not too sweet, but soft and lovely) honey with resinous, rich, dark amber. And finally, it envelopes me in woody sandalwood and delicate musk. The honey and amber are still prominent all throughout.
Despite it being an EDT, it lasts VERY long on me and has moderate/high sillage. I spray only once on the back of my neck and it will last me from morning to night. The scent gets trapped in the warmth of my thick, long hair and every time I move, it releases a beautiful, intoxicating fragrance. I find myself catching whiffs of it and it feels like a treat every time. I feel lovely and feminine, sensual and confident. I really feel like a woman, and I can’t help but think this perfume was made for me.
Though I purchased it this summer, I can imagine myself wearing it in all seasons. The warmth of summer brings out the sweetness of the honey, demure florals, and soft musk. I can envision mother nature’s summer child with long flowing locks running through wild flowers and the hum of slow, lazy bees nearby. And it’s oh so pretty. I’m eagerly awaiting autumn and winter to see how differently it’ll smell on me.
I would love to try the vintage edition eventually. I’m already so impressed with the modern version. Definitely must get it in the future.

I just received my vintage mini in the mail yesterday, sniffed it immediately and was in heaven. I’m wearing it today though, and I’m torn. I was in love with this fragrance back in the 80s when I was a teen, but this is pure Dial soap on me now. I don’t know why it smells better in the bottle than on my skin. It’s lacking a bit of complexity. I wish it had something like an aldehyde to make it fizz because for some reason it’s really, really flat. Could be that my bottle is off. I almost bought a full-sized unopened vintage bottle in addition but I’m really glad I waited. Not sure how often I’m going to wear this, because I want to smell like more than soap. I’m wondering if I should layer on a leather scent like Cuir Fetiche, which it actually does remind me of. Yep, just did it and I’m much happier.
EDIT: Wearing this again on New Years Eve (daytime) and I’m so much happier. I don’t smell soapy anymore wearing this, which is a relief. It is warm and slightly spicy, slightly honeyed, a little sweet but not in a sugary way. I love Bijan!

The original formula is lovely – smooth, sweet, complex, with a wet quality. I haven’t tried the current formulation, so cannot compare the two.
I agree with those who say it reminds them of Poison, which I find unwearable. Bijan for Women is like the best of Poison, minus the worst of Poison – which for me I think is the strong and oppressive incense. I will wear Bijan for Women with glee.

Like Swatch watches, fuschia lipstick and big hair, Bijan was a child of the late 1980s. It was (and is) bold and just a bit over-the-top. Is it dated now? I personally think so, but only because I was in my late teens when Bijan launched and I smelled it so frequently 30 years ago.
    But I digress.
Bijan is definitely not as complex as it once was. While the honey, ylang ylang and tuberose are still front and center, I’m hard pressed to find any patchouli or sandalwood in the current version. The result is sweeter and less balanced. Still, Bijan, even in post IFRA-regulated, middle age, maintains its original integrity. This can’t be said for all perfumes (or even many) of that era.

I just picked this up at TJ Maxx for $12.99 for 2.5 oz of EDT. It’s a solid like for me. It starts out as a soapy white floral, then after an hour or so it dries down to a spicy Oriental finish. I smell honey from beginning to end, but it’s a subtle sweetness. This lasts 3-4 hours on me. In the last couple hours it smells exactly like Al Rehab Nebras, except Nebras has twice the silage and longevity (oil+spray). I think for the value I’ll just stick with Nebras, but this is lovely as well.
EDIT: I’ve had this for a week now, and I’ve worn it almost every day. It still reminds me of Nebras, but there is something special about this that I can’t quite put my finger on…All I know is that I feel elegant and classy when I wear this. I’m glad some of these older fragrances are still around; I don’t care if it has been reformulated, it’s still better than many of the modern releases nowadays. If you’re into classics and Orientals, Bijan is worth a try. Beautiful.

If you like loud orientals with “that classic vibe” — this is for YOU.
It has some DNA from both Tabu and Cierra and a few others; however Bijan seems a little more refined — and casual.
I wonder what some of the flankers smell like?
This can be had at TJ Maxx/ Marshalls / Ross for $7.00
Worth a shot if you like classic orientals .

So sorry this one escaped me for so long! Bijan is sweet with buttery facets. it’s so pleasing to my senses.Notes melt together and combine again to produce a scent that can almost be tasted.
I have to say the ad didn’t do anything to pique my interest, and actually might be the reason I haven’t been interested in trying this fragrance.
The advertisement left me confused.A weird mess of conflicting images of models and famous women.
Meanwhite. the scent is just the kind of scent I can get hooked on. Bijan is all things great- it’s super glamourous classy and the kind of composition that for me is easy to love.It hearkens back to Fauborg 24 and Raffinnee with that central prominent sweet amber/orange accord I love. Similar, yet so much more affordable!
    Mmm momentary sadness about Raffinee.
Marie69( Love your review!) is so right on in describing Bijan as a Flor-iental with the emphasis on Floral.I can say that it is one of the best perfumes to come out of the period and possibly my favorite, along with LouLou.
The ad was possibly more famous than the perfume. Bijan was certainly well promoted. I can’t help but wonder if others who saw the the big miss in the ad campaign avoided it for the same reason.

Testing a mini EDP vintage original. Now this one is interesting because to me, it is a FLORiental with the emphasis on the FLOR. Now it DOES have a sort of Giorgio element to it, yes, due to its sheer flor-escent radioactivity. This perfume was designed to cut through the smoke-laden dancing madness, and general debauchery of Studio 54…so these perfumes had their function. This perfume was also competing with things like Poison, Opium, Giorgio, and all manner of other liquids now considered bio hazards or something…Follow the money on that one…
Give it a minute. The drydown is NICE. For me this is a thumbs up but TINY TINY dab pls. No sprays, too much.

I blind bought this today, and no regrets. The scent is honey & flowers & warmth & soap (i like this sort of soapy spicy effect my skin can give scents).
I was worried it would be a scent bomb, but it dries down to a skin scent on me (Definitely a recent formulation). I’ve reapplied probably 3 times today. But, only one or two sprays at a time so will try harder next time 🙂

Flowers on steroids! Honey and all sorts of other sweetness galore! Powerful and long lasting! Oh so loud! Do I like it? Noooo – I LOVE IT!!
This is a real dame perfume and probably one of the best blind-buys I have ever made!
If you are into “larger-than-life” florals like Organza, Poeme, Poison then you might just fall in love with this beautiful beast as well.

I bought Bijan as I heard it is very similar to a beloved favorite, VS Rapture. While I adore Rapture it is almost too sweet and cloying and I really have to be in the right mood to wear it.I was hoping Bijan would be less so and maybe I would be able to wear it more often. This is definitly very similar and more wearable. I have the original style bottle and the silage on this is amazing. Bijan is an intoxicating woody floral blend with that same opium dream vibe I get from Rapture. A true classic I am so happy to have discovered

I thought I was having olfactory hallucinations when I smelled Bijan in my house. It turned out to be a new bar of sandalwood soap in the bathroom. Sandalwood is what Bijan is all about. It’s a very therapeutic, satisfying scent, but I overdosed on it during the 80’s.

  24. :

Well, I am just going to admit right now that I went from dislike to love with Bijan! This is my third experience of this happening and they were all blind buy situations where I got nauseated or put off by a note, (here the ylang made me woozy) said no way! Then… Got curious and tried again with just a little on the edge of a wrist, and *boom* magic. I can’t explain it but it’s a strong argument for trying out a perfume in different moods, settings, or times of the year.
Bijan is honeyflowersspice heaven! Very long lasting, and is strong! It transcends trend to me, because it’s time is whenever someone wants to smell some of the best smells in the world, in one single breath. There is nothing off-putting or musty or skanky about this beauty. I recommend using a very light hand at first if you find Bijan overwhelming.

OH MY GOD WHERE DO I START!!!! I went to VS on Sept 09,2016 and sampled alot of fragrances sadly the ones i bought did not fit me, I walked out the store and kept smelling rapture as i had sprayed it on me, I went right back in because I had to have it, it lasted all day on me and made me feel sexy, warm, cozy. It smells like expensive perfume but it is not I got the mist of it not the actual perfume but it smells lovely and I use it everyday, I finally found a perfume that goes with my body chemistry what a relief.!!!

It was a blind buy for me and unfortunately I do not like it 🙁 I got it based on the reviews here and the main notes, but it just doesn’t work for me. It’s too sweet, heavy and synthetic, so sad. It is very long lasting fragrance and it caused a headache every time I tried it. I read somewhere that Hillary Clinton, Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah like it, and I absolutely can see it! Powerful perfume for a strong woman. If anyone from Australia is interested I would swap or sell it.

Many years ago, I bought an aromatherapy candle that was Ylang-ylang and Myhrr and, sadly, it was quickly discontinued. I have been using it sparingly because it fills the room with the most orgasmic scent. Years later, it is still a powerhouse of a candle.
Yesterday, I found a 1 oz. of BIJAN based on the notes I read here and it is fabulous. A beautiful opening of Ylang-ylang, honey, and Tuberose! It only gets better as it dries down, too. I will definitely be buying a larger bottle, soon.
I have to say, Bijan smells a lot like the candle. In fact, I used to think, if only they made a perfume like this candle, I would be so excited. And voila, here it is!
Btw: the 1 oz bottle in the shape of a lower case B is designed with rests on one side for your right hand middle, ring, and pinky fingers and thumb on the opposite with your index finger on the spray. So ingenious!!

    A lush oriental.
    Vintage EDP for review.
Bijan has a unique viewpoint vs the other orientals. Its very feminine in nature. Sometimes the oriental genre veers into gender bending territory with the exotic woods, spices and deep resins.
Bijans floral mix keeps the feminine edge. The ylang and honey gives it a rich warmth with the benzoin. Opulent, heavy and feminine. Silage is moderate to heavy depending on number of sprays and can introduce you before you arrive. Sometimes I cant believe I was rocking this scent when I was 21, but I always had a compliment from females and male admirers.
Its still stunning today with its floral heart and composed in the grand manner where it takes TIME to develop through her stages. A must try for vintage oriental lovers. A very romantic, sensual oriental.
The Bijan flagship store in beverly hills had a crystal chandelier made up of large bottles of the parfum. It was just a stunning marvel to see back in the day, Ahhh Rodeo Drive, big 80s perfumes like Bijan….match made in heaven.
Note: the current formulation keeps the Bijan spirit but it isnt as rich. Give it time to get past the opening and starts to settle down like the vintage.

This perfume is a perfume I was obsessed with as a small child. I used to say Bijon over and over again. I begged for the little bijon necklace that came in the expensive gift set. My grandmother would send it to me on holidays. It breaks my heart to see it 20 years later in the drug store for less than 20 dollars.
I really wish someone would rebrand it and update the scent. I do remember an initial overpowering odor that could be cleaned up. A small part of the fragrance seems cheap. It was almost like the 90’s force fed us this perfume and then got bored with it and permanently boycotted it. Ive only smelt it on one lady at a grocery store in the last at least 10 years.
I will say it is a very loud fragrance. It is hard to not to overdo it with Bijan. That being said, I love it for the nostalgia. However subjected to the smell for too long and I do get a headache.

Vanilla Oriental beauty. I can’t stop smelling myself. I’ve worn the men’s version as well because it also smells good. This is a combination Oriental, vanilla, floral and fresh citrus. The opening has a heavy bergamot and neroli. The heart is jasmine, rose and carnation. Later I smelled a lot of honey and oak moss. The patchouli and cedar and musk give it a strong aromatic quality that can easily pass for a man’s cologne but there is also that heliotrope and not to mention that sweet vanilla in wollops giving it a feminine sophistication. This is such a beautiful perfume. I wish I could smell it on more women today.

80’s, not disparaging the current creations, but it is quite notorious such excellence of creating the same and unerring responsibility of its evolutions such fragrances that have been released from that period, even though they were designer’s had / has.
In my humble view, Bijan Women refers in its evolution to the same footprint of my portentous Rouge Hermes, has that touch dry that the Chipres family fragrances often carry and far warn longer be an “either love me or me hate “, I could compare the two side by side and complete this gigantic likeness, without fear of being happy or even a heretic for what I have stated.
Well, Bijan Women opens remembering the smells of professional products for hair beauty salons, at least to my nostrils, but it’s good product quality, can you clearly see the basil in abundance with orange blossom notes, the viçosidade narcissus and some citrus tones coming and going without any bitterness, something balanced on the spot.
Then he goes evolving and becoming super twin Hermes Rouge to my nostrils, and here, in your heart, almost 5 hours after applying it behind a Iris nuances, with its aspects of heavy make-up, the presence of Mel that here it is pretty wild and imposing as the Rumba Balenciaga version, Ylang Ylang in your oily and concentrated form, and to finalize Roses notes, not alive, but resected and poignant on a spicy background that heats all this phase. Sublime’s heart Bijan Women!
Saying goodbye, he becomes an Eastern big perfume with footprint means dirty, highly fortified and imposing, bringing with it the sensuality of Musk fixing in an impressive way, the bitterness of cedar wood that is unmistakable in this one, the hardiness of Moss Oak giving a dryness that leads him to the family playing Chipres the resinosidade of Tonka and Benzoin sweetening his last goodbye, in line with an earthy vanilla, with medium aroma roots, making this fragrance, an “unknown” that deserves be experienced and appreciated, and why not acquired ?!
Despite being labeled by perfumístico market as the female, I must say that Bijan Women Bijan literally standing pisses and boasts itself a fixation projection and which are not in the comics. I have said.

My vintage ’80’s bottle of BIJAN doesn’t have much left in it, so I purchased a new one that I found for about $12. This is the 1.7 oz EDT in a bottle that looks like the number 8 as pictured above. Some reviewers mentioned a bottle shaped like a lower-case letter “b” and I don’t know if that’s an earlier or later edition. The one I bought had been hanging out on the store shelf for so long that I had to wipe the dust off the box with a tissue before handling it. Then, at home, I had to spray a few times to clear the funky stuff out of the nozzle before I could use it on myself.
Today, I’m doing a left wrist/right wrist test of the vintage vs the new edition. After nearly 7 hours, both are still going strong and although there were some differences at the beginning, they began to smell pretty much the same after awhile. Initially, the vintage one is a little smoother, more soapy and slightly more floral. The new version starts out with a few rough edges, more honey and more spice. Both have significant sillage and one spray does it.
BIJAN is an exotic fragrance that you won’t smell on every other woman on the street. I don’t recommend it as a blind buy unless you can return it easily if you don’t like it. Personal chemistry is important. If you do like it and it works for you, it’s certainly a fun one. Great with those really high heels.

This fragrance is everything the wonderful reviews on here said and more. It dries down to beautiful, well-balanced, balsam floral that lasts longer than most my other perfumes. I can’t speak to the old version–I bought the newly formulated version in the “B” shaped bottle, and I just love it. It’s less than $8 for the 1 oz bottle on Scent Monkey.

    Bijan is so lovely.
Opens strong with the fresh smell of old fashioned, hand milled soap. Spice and cream, green and citrus, floral and rich. If you have ever experienced L’Air d Temps by Nina Ricci (or P.M.’s Wind Song) then you may see a similarity like I did. It’s the Carnation that drives the similarity in my mind.
The first four hours of Bijan recall a post- WWII time of relieved peace and tentative hope. There is a graceful surrender to past beauty. By modern standards, it’s unisex at this stage. But wait, there’s more!
Around the four hour mark on my body, the clean soap develops a powdery freshly-showered femininity. Abundant bouquets of white flowers sigh heavily. This stage reminds me of the height of summer. But in truth, it’s much too strong for summer heat. Bijan can turn the coldest winter into a late August afternoon.
Suddenly, near the fifth hour there a shift that signals the dry down. As abruptly as turning a page in a book, I’m met with distinct sweetness. Honey encapsulates the soap becoming sweeter and more powdery. The dry down is sweet, resinous, woody and earthy. On my skin the dry down is so different from the first half of Bijan that it’s almost as if I’ve put on a whole new fragrance. Nothing unisex in the end, in my opinion.
I’m not sure that my experience of Bijan compares to the rebellious ad campaign that launched this fragrance. To me this is old world, vintage daily life.
Not safe for a blind buy.

  38. :

Wow, Bijan is beautiful in a fun and laid-back way. This is a “cool girl” perfume. This is a girl who will toss back beers and laugh with genuine warmth even if it makes her face look stupid. She isn’t the slightest bit pretentious, but she can hold her own whenever she needs to and won’t take any of your shit.
I was afraid of the prominent honey note in this one and held off for quite a while on buying it thinking it would be super-cloying, but nope! Like many other current versions of former 80’s powerhouses, this is well-blended and mainly smells just like itself as opposed to showcasing individual notes. I can pick out the amber in the beginning, and it reminds me a bit of Fire & Ice for a while (minus the tangerine). It stays pretty linear, with just a bit of soapiness and then spiciness coming into play during the dyrdown. As far as sillage goes, it’s noticeable without being a bomb, and on me, longevity is somewhat better than average. I do have scent-sucking skin though, so I can easily see this being very strong and long-lasting on others.
If you want something pretty, sweet, sexy, and friendly, Bijan is a winner, and not just at that price point! This could easily be much more expensive.

Boy was I tricked. I got this back when I
was in high school due to the ads. Blind
Buy. And… I liked it! Although not nearly
as badazz as the ads portray. …Peace…

You know, I just have to say this again….If you like vintage chanel no 5, if you like Bal a Versailles, if you like vintage rapture (which sounds silly, but the version back in the day was better than what they sell now)…..If you like any of those listed above and want something “along those lines”, you have got to try bijan out. The one in the circular bottle with the white circular top. I’m telling you, the fragrance is soooooo much better than that bottle looks. It smells like expensive, smooth amber and honey. It’s warm and just dry enough. Don’t let that price tag fool you! This is so feminine and beautiful. Definitely one of my favorites of all time.

This perfume has a sexiness to it. It reminds me of the original dolce gabbana. It smells amazing. Such a great to have a different smelling oriental perfume like this. I am reminded of the best scents in the world at an Arab bazaar. Such an exotic scent and pretty much the most powerful scent my skin can handle since my body amplifies all the notes in perfume. So exotic and quite seductive. Not that perfume has an age but in today’s world this would attract women over 35 who are powerful and beautiful. This does smell like an alpha female

I have an original bottle I bought in the 80s that I ration and just picked up a new bottle (30 ml in the funky lower case “b” shape bottle) and I am impressed. While I can tell a bit of a difference (the new one is slightly “harsher” perhaps) I am not going to complain about being able to use this fragrance I love liberally once again. Additionally, this new one lasts *forever* on me. 18 hours later I can still smell it (on the clothes even more.)

For the price, you could do much worse than Bijan. I have a new EDT. On my skin it is mostly a soapy orange flower/neroli perfume with a hint of spice and amber. It veers on the sweet side, it smells uncomplicated, and doesn’t change too much during the wear. I don’t smell much in the way of woods or resins in the base, the whole thing simply starts to fade out after a few hours.
I like it for what it is, but ultimately it’s a bit boring for me at this stage of the game. It still smells good, though, and if you’re in the market for an affordable soapy orange flower amber perfume this may work.

LadyLove I agree. I received this one in a swap (30ml EDT in a fun, quirky bottle – not pictured above I think) and it’s lovely. Not dated at all but certainly different in comparison to current launches. It is soapy, powdery amber with a little mix of flowers. Elegant, comforting and perfectly safe for all occasions – depending on the amount applied. It reminds me of First by VCA and a little of
