Fragrance Review For Bewitched
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab
Notes
blackberry, sage, musk, wild berries green tea
This is the smell of a witch’s brew. She made a special tea for you to drink. You pass out. When you awaken you find yourself in her garden full of poisonous berries, patchouli, weeds, clary sage, and flowers whose petals have been plucked. This is an herbal scent, like walking inside a shop selling only herbs. It’s medicinal and like a tea. Not always easy to take in.
The smell of sage and musk give it a unisex/masculine quality. I would say that it’s more of a guy’s type of cologne than a woman’s perfume. There are no floral notes at all. There’s blackberry which smells a bit sweet but the green tea is heavier. There’s musk as well, and it’s very obvious toward the dry down. So if you like berry and tea along with musk/sage and green herbal type of scents, this is going to delight you.
I would wear it for Halloween with a witch costume or as Morticia Addams. It’s really a very engaging scent but it’s linear and simple. It’s a little green tea and berry. It’s got a bite but it’s witchy and dark, but not a strong cologne either. For a niche indie frag, not bad.

Initially I get an ozonic scent, and with the blackberries just before they’re completely ripe.
There is a hint of the musk in the background and it smells slightly green.
There is something fruity about this perfume-but luckily not fruity enough-as the sage and green tea add the ‘green’ depth to it.
It doesn’t have that much by way of projection. I’ve put it on my wrist, and almost have to struggle to smell it.
It reminds me of walking through a wild garden, where you can catch a slight whiff of greenery and berries.
To me it’s halfway between sweet and dry. After a little while the musk comes through more. The blackberry is now a little more prominent as well.
Sadly this scent has almost disappeared on me.

it’s weird, i am not big into fruity scents (in general) but many of BPAL’s berry scents have won my heart. Bewitched is lovely and soft- a musky berry with the greenery of sage in the background. it reminds me a bit of Glasgow, another favorite, but without the rose. soft, pretty and comforting and maybe a little bit sexy.

LAB’S DESCRIPTION
“Deep, luscious green and berry scents that evoke images of woodland witchcraft and the raw power of nature: blackberry, sage, green tea, wild berries and dark musk.”
Bewitched to me is quite a simple scent that morphs very quickly then fades…
It’s a herbal green scent when it’s wet..with a slight musk there. My imp is quite old so..I’m pretty sure I’m not getting the full effect of this.. *pouts*
It then dries very quickly to a sweet sweet soft berry smell, very similar to “Lady Macbeth”. I’m a huge huge fan of berry smells. But this one had absolutely zero throw on me. It’s very close to the skin.
And I’d still like to try a fresh imp of this.
