Vintage Dior Fahrenheit here!! OMG this fragrance bring me back to late 90s!
denisenko – :
This buy has everything to do with vintage Fahrenheit my dad bought and shelved.
I stole that bottle and became its slave.
Today. I gave away my 2013 Dior Fahrenheit. And only recall the good old days.
This bottle reminds me of those days when Christian Dior Fahrenheit dominated.
like a Prowling Lion in heat.
+ from me

smells so close to fahrenheit minus some notes that you barely miss and I do have the vintage fahrenheit formula. If i was looking for a clone on the cheap id def go with this, but an clone don’t really care for maybe i shoulda got bora bora exotic. I also have lucky number 6 which I like more just because it’s different.

I got Metal Jeans online for about $15, after reading that it is a clone of Fahrenheit, and I couldn’t be happier.
I love Fahrenheit, but do not wear it often enough to justify purchasing a new one for 70-100$. When I heard about Metal Jeans I decided to try it, since it is so inexpensive, even if it wasn’t perfect I could not go wrong.
I have a vintage (early 90s) bottle of Fahrenheit which is 95% used but there is more than enough to do a side by side test. Well let me tell you that to my nose Metal Jeans is an exact clone! I put the vintage Fahrenheit on one hand and the Metal Jeans on the other and there is almost no difference, the original Fahrenheit may be a little stronger or richer, but not much. I am a happy camper !!

I get the comparison to Fahrenheit, but Metal Jeans Man lacks the leather note to be a true clone of the Dior classic.
However, layered with Nicole Miller for Men, that missing leather note is in place and Metal Jeans Man becomes the poor man’s Dior Fahrenheit.

Nice.. Sweeter than Ferrari Uomo which is also Farenheit Clone. I picked this up because I heard it smelled similar to my beloved Ferrari. Similar but not quite as good in my opinion.

amazingly close to vintage fahrenheit – it’s such a good value

Are you kidding me? This is a great deal. Smells like Dior Fahrenheit even though performance is not as good you can bathe in this stuff for the price. 90210MJ is staying in my collection.
UPDATE: 12/22/15
This stuff is so good and so cheap that I’ve bought five bottles of it. I’ll die before I run out. I’ve also given several bottles away as gifts. Everyone that I’ve given it to loves it. Since originally posting I’ve tried just about all of the Torrand brand male scents and they pretty much all smell good. This is the standout for sure in their line of male frags.

This is an under the radar Fahrenheit clone, and really the only clone of the Dior masterpiece that I’m aware of. It does smell quite close and has that lovely, unique petrol vibe that Fahrenheit does. Smelling them side-by-side one does notice the difference in quality though. You can get a 200ml bottle of Fahrenheit on Amazon these days for about $75 which is an incredible steal, but if you’re on an extremely tight budget this one does the job fairly well for $10-$15, just don’t expect miracles.
Performance: 5/10 – This gives you about average projection/longevity, great for the price.
Overall Scent: 6.5/10 – Fahrenheit is my favorite fragrance of all time, and this is an above average clone, just be realistic in regards to the quality vs the real thing.

This is a great alternative to Dior Fahrenheit. I have the current formula of Fahrenheit and I do quite enjoy it but this is definitely up to par as far as smell. The longevity on this is spotty but my skin doesn’t hold most colognes on for long anyways. I’ve done several blind side by sides with Metal Jeans and the current formula Dior Fahrenheit and this gets the edge(preferred). Metal Jeans is an under the radar alternative to Fahrenheit.
Do they smell the exact same, no. The current formula is slightly different than the vintage formula. Metal Jeans would be right next to the vintage formula though. One would assume that this is Fahrenheit if you were wearing it.
Overall for the price, it’s a steal!
Longevity 7/10
Sillage 7/10
Smell 10/10
Projection 7/10
Price 10/10
Oh yeah, I wore this in front of my mother without telling her about it and she noticed that she smelled something familiar. Well she bought my father Dior Fahrenheit back in 1989/1990 so I guess it did its job!
90210 Metal Jeans is a must for those that want that nostalgia!!

Very nice(not to mention DIRT cheap!)vintage Fahrenheit knockoff IMHO. If your a lover of the vintage Dior juice, do yourself a favor and pick up a 100ml of this for between $10-12. Not an exact dupe, but close enough to my nose that as soon as I picked it up and smelt it…. all those memories from the early 90’s came rushing back to me. Really was a time warp in a bottle!!!:) Well done Torand!
serebro961 – :
Yes, a Dior Fahrenheit knock-off… I think I also paid about $12 online… was ordering something else so I just thought for the price, why not…
I have to say, that if you don’t have the money for the first 3-4 hours it does get the job done…
I find it to be a nice fragrance, But by no means! does it compare with the blending and quality of the fragrance god as Fahrenheit! The notes seem to be the same just flatter with little dimension. With scents of Violet Leaf, leather and musk. (petrol and rawhide)
I would not really recommend this fragrance except for the price value… If your looking for a Fahrenheit vibe and you don’t have $80+ dollars in your pocket… go for it… If you love this scent/fragrance, just get the real thing!
Dancec – :
This is a Dior Fahrenheit knock-off, which once in a while appears at Marshall’s, etc. for around $10 for 100 ml. Not to be confused with Versace’s Metal Jeans.
