Beautiful fragrance! Terrible longevity!
The citrus, ginger, saffron, and caraway seem to compose the top notes. It creates a spicy, slightly soapy effect, which is truly enjoyable for me. The fragrance settles into a woody-saffron phase, and then dries down to a warm, sweet, incense base that is just gorgeous. And then…POOF! Gone!
It lasts no more than 1 hour on my skin. 🙁 That’s just not right for such a beautiful scent.

Incense lovers, rejoice! This lists alot of other notes, but what I get from it is rich, dry incense. So much so that it reminds me strongly of Tauers’ Incense Extreme. Not a bad thing by any means, I just prefer things a little sweeter. So today I tested this again, but layered it with L’Artisan Ambre Extreme; the effect was magical. The Ambre Extreme added just the right touch of smooth sweetness, and the Berberiades added an extra smokiness that was very sensual. Delicious! So, for me this scent is great for layering, but if you love a provocative incense all on it’s own, this scent could be all you could ask for.
