This is a lovely gourmand blend of vanilla and citrus done the right way. Sweet, but not overly sweet, as the citrucy and green notes balance out the sweetness.
I mainly wear this during summer and during my travels, since this is an easily portable travel friendly small bottle.
This is also a perfume oil with no straight alcohol in it, so pretty safe option in the sun. A real delight for those like me, who are in continuous search for sun and travel friendly fragrances.
I can actually recommend all scents from the MOR perfume oil range to all of those who travel a lot like me. I’m sure there is one for almost everybody to like, if not this one. The range is wider than what is displayed here at Fragrantica (newly added are Bohemienne and Pomegranate among others).
My first impression on this one took me back to my early childhood days and I had to concentrate hard to remember what smelled like this back then. Then I remembered: I had a lip balm which was scented exactly like this – and since some of the lip balm always ended up in my mouth I think I even know what this gourmand scent actually tastes like. That’s a pretty comforting memory from the carefree childhood days and it always comes back to me when I wear this scent. I know it doesn’t sound that promising: A lip balm scent for children! But trust me, it was a good gourmand scented lip balm with a beautiful youthful (rather than childish) vibe to it.

I have the hand lotion version of this, it is a lovely slightly sweet vanilla/musk/floral scent. I really want to try the perfume.

This is lovely and warm. When I first applied bella donna I got the impression of a lightly spiced cake. Almost like cinnamon. The scent is delicate with faint green and floral nuance. This scent is cozy, the oil wears lightly, and I think it would be a winner for people pleasing. The lemon isn’t very noticeable to me.

It is a nice, delicate fragrance. It reminds me of lemon creme cake on me. Not my favorite, but not bad.

This is so yummy gorgeous lemon but soft and cosy not harsh like some lemon scents I’ve tried . It’s so sweet and although its different to Marshmallow I get the same family vibe to it. The lemon stays throughout but mixing with vanilla, I can’t discern the sandalwood yet but think I can the floral note. So comforting, love it for bedtime. To me this is proof you don’t need to spend a fortune for a nice smelling perfume. Really want to try some more from this range, wonderful.

This has to be the sweetest scent I own. It somehow overrides my aversion to super sweet, modern “fruity florals”. Belladonna is modern too, (nothing remotely “classic”, doesn’t even pretend to be). This is a sweet floral with lots of fruity blackcurrant. So what saves it from being boring? Maybe my weakness for narcissus, which is a note I often see in florals I happen to love. There’s something heady and narcotic about narcissus. It give some interesting depth to Belladonna. Overall, this is a fun fragrance, not that serious, but definitely pretty and special in its category.

Belladonna by MOR Cosmetics, is a fun and frivolous floral with a touch of sweetness. I discovered this fragrance a few months ago, while out shopping for Mother’s Day. I actually ended up buying it for my mother, and since then, she’s worn it often.
When I say that this fragrance is sweet, I don’t mean that it is nauseating, candy-like or cloying. My mother detests anything of that kind, and often makes negative remarks concerning sugary scents whenever she smells them on passers-by. It was important for me to find something balanced, pleasant and feminine, and Belladonna met those requirements.
The lemon in this fragrance smells more like pink grapefruit to my nose. While the citrusy accord is not strong or overpowering, it is a constant fixture in this composition. It’s also where the sweetness tends to originate.
The floral heart is my favourite bit, with a delicate blend of sunny narcissus, powdery roses and rich tulip. You won’t find tulip in many fragrances, so in a way, Belladonna smells rather unique.
Vanilla, especially in the heart and drydown, smoothes everything out, also providing a hint of warmth. While I would personally wear Belladonna during Spring and Summer, the vanilla accord makes it wearable during the cooler months too.
I’m only jumping on the MOR bandwagon now, although this fragrance was released some time ago. It comes in a 9ml rollerball with a range of matching products. The sillage is moderate, and the longevity, while not disappointing, could last a little longer. Overall, a pleasant and fun scent.

Quite sweet and after a while smells a lot like cotton candy on my skin. 🙂 Like jazzgoddess said before me, this has a pretty but not cloying scent. I feel it’s very unique even though it has that cotton candy essence lingering in the drydown.

I’m not usually a big floral person, more oriental/spicy fragrances but when I feel like something lighter this is lovely, it’s pretty and sweet but not cloying.
