Every few years, we get a new entry on the periodic table. It’s usually some unstable element with a half life of 2 minutes — too intangible & ephemeral for study. That was my experience with Beachwood. It’s actually quite beautiful for the few minutes that I can smell it. Registering citrus-sandalwood-lavender; and amber-coconut didn’t make it to roll call. I actually do like the scent very much, and wish it had lasting power.
This review is based on a Luckyscent sample that arrived today. Bottle aging plays a role in longevity/ projection, so this might just be a bad tester. Making note, to try again in the future.

Most aquatics disappear on me within minutes of application so when I received this as a sample I didn’t give it much thought – until I noticed I could still smell it in the crook of my arm at the end of the day. What a change! I love it’s salty sweet airiness. A day at the beach, shielded from the wind in a sand dune, smelling the air, sand flowers, and sunscreen. Great scent.

Too perfumey to be a skin scent, like most aquatics, but still easy to wear and unobstrusive . Light enough to wear on a hot day. Woodsy, aquatic, white flower scent

Definitely DO NOT smell ay coconut, and it’s more of a soft clean almost soapy scent than a woody aquatic. I can smell sandalwood and citrus mostly. Wish the other notes were more dominant.

Nice scent, very light. No lasting power and compared to Bond No. 9 Chinatown, sampled right next to Beachwood, it’s very weak.

A nice casual green fragrance for hot summer days .The opening is a bit strong, with a lot of bergamote and sour orange juice.Good sillage and lasting power, but I do not find it that unique.Resembles a lot of Emilio Pucci’s Acqua.
