I like this, but it’s so similar to so many of today’s gourmand fragrances. I do smell the coconut, but not in the way that I like to smell it. I enjoy a fresh and real coconut. This coconut is more like coconut flavored rum, very sweet and a bit cloying. I don’t feel that the bergamot belongs here, it adds a bitterness that makes this fragrance less wearable. I like the mix of star anise and vanilla, but the addition of musk makes this less tasty and more earthy. I don’t love this because it is trying to be pink sugar without really hitting the mark of a tasty gourmand.
