This smells like licorice root. Most people don’t really know what that means.
On the moss on the side of some trees a fern grows. If you dig in the moss and find the root of these ferns that is the root used to make licorice. You can pick off all the moss and suck on the root to get its flavor. If you’ve had licorice root tea that is the root dried. But this scent is the root on the wild — green, mossy, earthy, spicy, sweet without being sugary. I’m loving it.
Sadly it is fading fast. I could be tempted to douse myself in this to make it last as long as possible because the scent is really special to me, but I’d have to have a really good price to justify it and I don’t know that I could recomend it to anyone else. If anyone finds something similar I’d love to hear about it.
