The citrus fruits sit behind the oakmoss + earthy patchouli, softening the fragrance just enough to polish and round it out while still letting the rest of the notes come through.
I think the clementine and the bitter orange balance each other out perfectly, though I can’t detect the bergamot, they work very well together. I get a bit of an acidic twinge in my nose which makes it an odd but pleasant experience along with an almost minty note. What is that? Not sure but it works!
The vetiver and patchouli act as a nest for the entire fragrance, complimenting every aspect of it and allowing it to soften further as it dries down into a really lovely chypre.
Initially it’s quite shocking to me as this is not the type of fragrances I go for, as I much prefer ultra sweet, floral, fruity scents, and foody scents. As rschmidt65 accurately said, it’s very dry and herbal but give it about 10-15 minutes and it’s very wearable, very nice and so very enjoyable.
Totally unisex! This is one of those scents where when someone smells it, their mind doesn’t go to ‘masculine’ or ‘feminine’ – it goes to nature. Beautiful, blended, nature.
Great Job Suzy Larsen!

This is classic style chypre with loads of oak moss. There are some herbs as well but it is quite dry and did I mention oak moss?
