Really nice, if short-lived, spicy masculine. It opens with a very bitter green note, which must be the bitter orange. That fades after about 5 minutes, and a wonderful clove-fir accord takes center stage. The clove and the fir are both clearly identifiable, and they also combine to create a licorice/anise note that really defines this fragrance. It reminds me of Clove and Blackjack chewing gums, which I mean as a compliment. It smells classically masculine without smelling dated.
The fir fades first, leaving behind the clove and maybe some slight woodiness. It’s all very naturalistic. Unfortunately, it only lasts 3-4 hours tops. But I guess that’s to be expected from a self-described “body spray,” and for $30 it’s hard to complain.
