First off, thank you Dr Marlen Harrison for making this amazingly affordable and niche quality perfumes. You are a wizard.
Okay onto Bashert, it starts out with this cinnamon fruity combo that can only be described as the essence of Fall. Really, this is what you should be wearing this season. I know, winter has already sorta came but for those cloudy days in 60 degree weather this shines. The wine is noticable amongst the combo of fruit and cinnamon but walnut will appear soon along with the florals and honey. I take it back, the florals are already showing up and it’s been 15 minutes. The rose is gorgeous here! A sweet fruity rose without patchouli! Who would’ve thought that rose could be in a fragrance without patchouli, oud, or saffron! But all jokes aside this development is something special. The projection is strong for a couple hours and then dies to a skin scent…one of the most wonderful skin scents you’ll find. This thing also stays around forever like War Of The Roses. For 19 bucks you really can’t go wrong with this. I loved the service from the Dr.; he wrote me a note on his card. When do you ever get a personalized note from the actual perfumer themselves! Love it.

I want to add its pomegrade just at the beginning ,then a sweet rose and wine and honey comes along, fantastic ,and narcissus does not overpowering this scent.
And also i adore its natural made ,nothing articifial here. For autuum better than summer.

Bashert is a spicy sweet fragrance. In the opening notes I smell the sweet pomegranate and rose with a little cinnamon in the background. The drydown is a little bitter of what I think is the walnut. Red wine I can not immediately detect the drydown though it has a full flavor, warm and sweet. a nice winter fragrance.

Let me make a declaration now: I cannot do grapes and all their subsequent incarnations in perfume. A handful of raisins? Yes, I’m enjoying some right now as I type. A spritz of something akin to a Cabernet Sauvignon? I smell like a sloppy dipsomaniac. It’s not okay. Declaration, over.
Now that I’ve said my generalized piece about grapes in perfume, I can honestly tell you I have found the closest contender to an exception: Bashert. It is truly glorious. With Passover around the bend this is an appropriately festive scent for the holiday. One element of the Passover Seder to which I look forward is the Charoset; anyone who has not tried this boozy, spicy, sweet chopped salad of sorts is missing out. I know it is loaded with religious symbolism, but it’s yummy, too. Bashert is definitely Charoset encapsulated, but it is also the essence of various perfumes worn by close friends and beloved family members as everyone gathers for the Seder dinner. I know, it sounds like bottled dissonance but it’s really fantastic.
I’m still on the fence about buying a bottle. Grapes and I still do not play well together but I’m willing to set aside my differences for this juicy treat. If nothing else, I can feel good knowing I performed a mitzvah when I made my purchase: 10% of the proceeds go to The Institute of International Education.

Bashert is a rounded, honeyed, and juicy rose that remains fairly transparent. It is, in fact, almost a picking-berries-in-the-field-and-having-juice-stained-fingers juicy, though it remains thoroughly in that line of roses that can be worn as a unisex. Synaesthesia-wise, the color feels like a plushy and a deep deep pink or a very deep magenta, rather than a true blood red. On me, the fragrance is incredibly long-lasting. After an opening that smells somewhat of apples and herbs, the rose really takes center stage. Once this stage hits, it stays fairly linear.
